Anupama is shocked n grieving following Maaya’s demise . She is guilt stricken that Maaya died because of her . Anuj calms and consoles her , asks her not to think that way as they both know it was an accident . It could happen to anybody and it was unfortunate it happened to Maaya. They better not discuss this with anyone else. This matter should remain between the two.
Barkha over hears this and is and gets the idea that Maaya’s demise has some connections with Anupama.
Shahs arrive at KM and all share grief for Maaya. Vanraj tells Anupama that she should not let anything come between her n her dreams this time . Anuj too assures Anupama will surely go to US. Baa reminds her of Choti’s needs, she was missing her Maaya maa and will now miss Anupama mummy too.
Suddenly all get scared as they get the news that Choti had locked herself in her room n was not opening the door nor responding. All try to persuade Choti to open the door , after some time they decide to break open the door. On entering they find Choti fast asleep with numerous cut outs of Maaya. All are shocked and emotional seeing the poor child.
At Gurukul Malti Devi is waiting for Anupama. Kunal informs that Maaya had passed away. MD feels sorry for the suddenness as they have only two days to leave for US. She wants Anupama to accompany them n not allow her to back off now.
Kunal informs her of readiness all the arrangements and documents for their departure to Amreeka. MD wants to visit KM and share Anupama’s grief, Kunal is against it, but MD feels she has developed relationship with Anupama and she feels her pain.
At KM Choti throws a tantrum about wanting to see Maaya maa and is inconsolable and uncontrollable. MaAn try their best to calm her Anupama holds her tight in a loving hug, right then Malti Devi and Kunal arrive at KM , they go to MaAn bedroom and are moved to watch MaAn with Choti.
MD feels their going up to bedroom was not right n they leave.
Anupama is reminded by MD that they had to leave in two days. Anupama agrees unmindfully. Kunal and MD are worried of Anupama will eventually leave or not.

Anupama is very guilt stricken, that Maaya died while saving her, she is guilty leaving CA when she was so upset for her mother. She is sleepless n drops her passport.
CA is seen wailing for her mother and Anuj is unable to calm her n he too is upset.
Barkha asks K family why was Anupama behaving as if Maaya died because of her ? Anuj fumes and warns Barkha that she better keep this discussion between them and this should not reach CA’s ears.
CA overhears this n is very upset.
