Guys! The way they handled mental illness in this show is commendable. I mean just with one bhashan a serious illness is cured?

Either they would have cleared it that whatever maaya is doing is just acting as mental patient and is not actually mental patient. But no!

This is the thing....this show has created and made people wary and hate real life victims....be it molestation, harassment, adoption, cheating and now mental illness...

All the victims are made extremely evil.....and are shown negative in the end......and mahaan Devi ji's bhashan is the cure for everything.....

Maya is not a real person....she is a fictional character...the way she was shown was of a mentally ill patient..........regressive shows like Anupama are the reason....why issues like mental illness are not taken seriously and are considered a taboo.....

You said weeping is the BEST CURE for DEPRESSION....no its not......depression is a real medical problem.... weeping and Deviji's Bhashans don't cure depression......it needs proper treatment and the least one can do is not make fun of depression....people actually kill themselves because of it

At USA psychiatrist are in maximum demand. One of my friend who is mental doctor sometimes explained to me how horrible situation he needs to face during treatment. He told me that one of his patient tried to operate his own brain by household scissors as he thinks brain operation will take him to Moon.

I am surprised to read some comments that thappard or weeping can cure mental depression ......simply unbelievable.
