i do not agree with you 100% about anupama

if anupama was a person treating both shahs and kapadiyas equally and similarly may be i would sympathize with anupama

I mean i know in indian culture mother/wife/sister are expected to sacrifice for family than a father/hubby/brother. For ex if family can afford to send one child to US for further studies that will be 90% the son and not daughter. Same way if only one kid can be sponsored for MBBA/BE it will be son not daughter in india(if both are similar ages). Same way 90% of time wife has to leave job and go wherever hubby gets transferred man job gets priority, woman has to leave everything and go where hubby wants. And a sister is expected to help in house hold chores apart from studying or working while brothers jus play, study watch tv and enjoy in school and college life. So in that way i understand anupama has scarificed her dreams her life first as daughter by marrying at 18 years than as wife by not going to job or pursuing american dreams to bring up her 3 brats and vanraj home. So my sympathy lies with her.

But the fact that shes show two different rules for shahs and kapadiyas made me unsymppathetic to her.

Because what she does for shahs she will never do for kapadiya family

What she will do for vanraj as hubby she never ever did for anuj kapadiya

What she did as mom for her 3 brats she never did for CA

If anuj kapadiya had parents no way anupama will behave like baa bapuji with them or care for them same way.
