That’s absolutely false, he is obsessed with her now, he was jealous when she had everything and he lost everything

He is superstitious because he believed that till the time Anupama was in his life, he prospered in life and as she left everything left

He is egoistic, he couldn’t accept the fact that she has moved on and is happy

He also realised that their mad house cannot function without Anupama, they are so used to her free maid services

You will never hurt and torture the one you truly love for 26 long yrs like the way Vanraj did even after Anuj Anupama marriage, he only became this obsessed now, after Anuj left, before that he was insulting her everyday and throwing her out of Shah Mental house almost every week
