I agree with you. The writer is confused and the plot is showing is completely baseless. The writer is portraiting very negative affect to adopt a kid. lots of families will think about before adopting a child. Please don't touch sensitive issues if you can not justify them with a positive impact.

Dimpy's insecurities regarding academy would have made sense if she would have been married to samar. Because then toshu interfering in academy's matter would be wrong as he has reputation of fraud n cheating n unemployed n it's anupama's n Samar"s academy. So she wanting to secure her future would not have looked so wrong because currently she is not even samar's fioncee but just a GF..
