This thread is hilarious guys. I swear each time I think Maa bhakts can't get any more delusional, they prove me wrong. First you're asking to show proof, you show infinite proof of not only the hugging but also kissing. Then the types of hugs and kisses are elucidated, differentiating between them as if people can't give romantic forehead kisses...There are hundreds of examples where forehead kisses are romantic, even in movies, shows etc. And CONTEXT matters, the person giving the kiss/the one she's sharing a hug with is an abusive, cheating, toxic ex-husband who didn't let her be at peace even after their divorce and who has openly said he wants her back. But no, it's friendly and caring and it's allowed. But for Anuj, god forbid Maya has delusional thoughts in her head even while he acts completely repulsed by her, his character is assassinated like crazy. Then they go on to say this is all for drama and we are idiots to take it seriously and discuss so much.

I mean what rubbish, the show proclaims to be a woman empowerment show and the lead keeps stating this everywhere. There are people who DO take this seriously as a life lesson, TRP audience is not necessarily of even average IQ. Just say it's a regular soap and move on and no one will care. They proclaim time and again that it's a woman empowerment show and people should be inspired by Anupama and yet we are supposed to just ignore the effects it has on the general population and nod along. Just because Anupama andhbhakts have no logical reasoning skills, why should others who have cognitive thinking skills not dissect topics or discuss issues and character sketches? We're watching this stupid show, might as well use our own logical thinking and critique while discussing issues it butchers, than nod along like brainless dodos, tolerating all regressive things because it's "a daily soap".

All very true but Anupamaa andhbhakts who are masquerading as expert commentators and veterans of daily shows here, have run out of ways to defend her. So they would rather that everyone watches it like the delusional stans and be brainless and boneheaded instead of questioning what is shown. What else explains the deluge of diversionary and provocative posts purely with an intent to play victim 😆

If they actually didn't bother enough about what we say and wanted to watch the show mindlessly they would not be making such an effort here. Not a problem. Makers have planned a litany of Anuraj scenes specially for them (because however much we say it mockingly, these people actually want Anupamaa to be an unpaid maid and stay with Shameless shahs in a pathetic pitiable state for life due to their regressive notions) 😈

@Shah8er - Absolutely agree with you. And on top of that, they always make statements that we don't watch the show properly just because they interpret the show to mean whatever's convenient to them. Or that we defend Anuj, when in fact we've criticised other characters of the show also because we don't blindly support anyone at all, and definitely not the brainless puppy, we aren't like them. Matlab kuch bhi. We can discuss whatever we want to, the same way they want us to ignore (which we won't because our morals and principles don't allow that), they can also ignore our views if it makes no sense to them in spite of us giving paragraphs upon paragraphs of reasoning.

And whoever is talking about discussing the great show or storyline, they themselves say the show makes no sense, no head or tail, there's nothing to discuss beyond problematic things. And half those problematic things Anupama is doing, so who else will we criticise. Again, cognitive thinking skills zero. Just make statements.

But I do agree that opposite views are also important, so I'm glad they exist. Some people put forth views in a sensible way, even if we disagree. But blind stans who merely attack people and give really absurd logic to justify their favourite characters, sorry but we are free to laugh at the said justifications also lol. The same way you are free to continue being an andhbakt.

And also need to give a disclaimer here in case anyone takes it personally. I am NOT talking about anyone in particular. I am also on other sites - twitter, instagram, other discussion portals and I talk about the behaviour of people who blindly support their favourite everywhere- be it Anupama or Anuj or whoever. Andhbhakts exist everywhere, whether in politics or such tv shows. The posts are directed towards people in general who blindly support without listening to other povs, without having replies to logical statements, who twist logic to great extents to support their fav. They are entitled to yaar, no one is stopping them, but the same way you think we always criticise Anupama or don't like her, we think you never do, even when warranted. Please stop taking things so personally, and just allow us to discuss. Unless of course someone personally bullies you, that's unacceptable and you can complain regarding that. Even Anupama criticisers have been harrassed and bullied in the past by the way, so it's not just a one way street.

But yeah, I think all of us should have this disclaimer on, because we discuss topics and povs and behaviour of a group of people, it's NOT a personal attack and if you think criticism of Anupama the character or the views of people who blindly support her is a personal attack, then don't know what this forum is for.
