Nothing like that is shown. Anuj said when he married he knew anupama has so much responsibilities and he was ok with it but he can't tolerate it with CA.

Anuj himself goes to Shah's house for all functions and invites them to his house. So he himself didn't created boundaries. Which present husband goes to current wife's ex sasural and chill out with her ex.

@naaznin - Anuj may have accepted her with baggage and her past, but she took that for granted and pushed his limits. Is there any justification for her not defending CA when Baa insulted her or making Baa's khichdi instead of showing up for her daughter? I 100% agree he should've drawn boundaries long ago, he shouldn't have accompanied her just to be insulted and humiliated, but that's why it looks like all that has added up to this outburst. He was too busy with his Anu jaap and he accepted it all but reached a breaking point with CA leaving and Anupama not letting him talk to her or do anything on the day. And also he's depressed and she keeps pushing him, asking him to go to Shah House for Holi, not talking to him and trying to make him understand.

He got so much shit for what he did on New Years, after reaching a breaking point, imagine if he stopped her or didn't support her before that, her fans would wage war against him. He tried being as understanding and supportive as he could, but people can't take it after a point. Realistically, NO divorcee will behave the way Deviji is, and even if she is that kind of a person, she should have made some effort to change after marriage. No person, however patient, will put up with this. It's not like she gets a lot of love in her ex-sasural either, for this to be understandable. But if they start giving Anuj such dialogues, where he reminds her of everything that's happened after marriage and how only he was supporting her and not vice versa, there'll be zero defense for Deviji, so instead they keep harping about CA going with Maya. Literally every sensible person (except the bhakts) was with Anuj after the Dance competition and New Years incident and even when she hid the truth from him about CA leaving and didn't bother clarifying the poor child's misunderstanding. So now to evoke sympathy for her, they show him only harping on one thing and shouting at her etc while she's super bechari. But that doesn't forgive her past innumerable mistakes, including how she let CA go, without even telling the poor kid she was not at fault.

Accepting responsibilities and taking advantage are different. Anupamaa has clearly done this as she considers her ex-mother in law as mom, rather than her actual mom 😆 She never had the audacity to correct their bad behavior towards choti.

A nice husband would accompany his wife to her Maayka, and its common in average households to do drop-off and pick-up of your wife in this manner from her Maayka. That is what Anuj did too.

However, its a different matter that no ex-house should be made a Maayka. Again Anupamaa took advantage or naive to actual not draw boundaries. Now she considers no fault in her failure of marriage 🤪

Anuj may not be correct competely as should have spoken out more previously but Anupamaa is equally responsible.

Anupama has her issues and faults but Anuj’s language and tone towards Anupama today just disgusted me today. 🤢

This... And when Anuj told Devika he meant what he said I could feel that it was an accumulation of all the events of the past that led to this.

The New Year's incident was swept under the rug because of Dheeraj and Bapuji. Anuj just overlooked it and they got back together with song and dance and picnic, but the core issue doesn't change.

I really hope they reveal what CA told Anu, I hope things explode then.

Also, Anuj isn't in the right state of mind right now, he's clearly messed up. Why doesn't anyone see this? He has been shown as a reasonable person from day 1 so that part of his character is suppressed by his emotions right now. Doing all these in his face demands of asking for answers, when she should have already known, is what's making things worse. I actually felt that Anupama just doesn't get him or try to understand him, it's still about her. I guess what actually happened is that he either took her off that pedestal he had put her on or he's realized that he shouldn't have put her there in the first place and treated her like a human being and not some magical being.

They keep sweeping everything under the rug instead of showing her introspecting. He has told her explicitly over and over what he's been thinking, for months now. So why does she think his words now are coming out of the blue and unreasonable?

They are probably going to make him grovel and win her over again but that just means she's never going to learn where she went wrong. At this point, I think CA is better off without either of them because if she grows up in this family she's going to idolize Anupama and learn all these negative things from her (more than she already has in just a few months).

why itv never shows that a woman - if moving on from abusive relationship can find a beautiful life & true love/partner second time, too ??? 😡

why itv is hell bent to prove that moving on from abusive husband/family is dead end... you have to come back to that abuser or take help of that...???

My 2 cents:

This whole thing is too rushed. As though there is a deadline by which they wanted the separation track.

1. Dealing with depression requires compassion, empathy and more importantly, patience. While you want the other person to react, and Persuasion is used as a technique but there is a difference between pressurising and persuasion.

Umpteen times that Anupama was down with her penic etteck, the way Anuj handled her was something to learn from?

2. The other problem is interference of "others" in a marriage. Especially people who have been watching through sidelines. First Hansmukh-Leela and now Dheeraj-Devika.

Just as Anupama stopped Samar from interfering, Devika should also have been stopped. This not the time for side picking. Dheeraj-Devika are here for reconciling them and building bridges. This looks like they are adding more fuel to burn bridges.

Both of them have one side of the story and have picked a side and made up their mind without understanding the other side.
