Seriously! How has this joke of a show glorified women in a positive way! It’s done the exact opposite! It degrades women in a negative way and teaches them to be a doormat and stay with their toxic partner even if they cheat or abuse them!

The whole team seems to live in delusion I don't know about the other show,but there is nothing, absolutely nothing positive about this show Anupama. Or is there? I can't think of anything.😳

these articles mostly surface to serve as distractions when they’ve majorly cocked up the script

1. Rakhi - A mother who taught her daughter to stand up to wrong (Kinjal stood up for Anupamaa against her love Toshu), be independent.

Glorification: She is name called Naagin again and again. A forgetful Mama flirts with her even though she has said that she is uncomfortable with it.

(I frankly saw no flaw in Rakhi except for arrogance in her wealth because she was spot on about Toshu and the Shahs. However, earlier she was portrayed to be a big vamp to the extent that Anupamaa throws her out of Shah House and forbids Kinjal from interacting with her.)

2. Barkha - Raised Adhik as they both lost their parents even after her marriage, stood against Baa, Vanraj and Pakhi for Adhik, stood against Ankush for his affair, took a stand for Anuj against Maaya, stood up for Anuj and Anupamaa against Maaya for Choti.

Glorification: Ankush put the entire blame on her when he was a willing participant in trying to grab Anuj's property.She gets no respect from any of the people she stood up for but everyone is all pally with Ankush disregarding that he cheated on Barkha.

3. Maaya - Got out of a terrible past where she was being used for her body, is still friends with the woman who helped her escape the hellhole, made her name in the modeling industry, located Choti single handedly after settling down in life , fought for her kid.

Glorification: Shown as a home wrecker and manipulator.

4. Baa - Has emotionally abused everyone. Singlehandedly brought Bapuji, Anuj to breakdown points. Cursed Anupamaa multiple times.

Glorification: Maa toh Maa hoti hai. Dil mein kuch nahi hai.

5. Devika - Strong, independent, level headed woman, amazing friend.

Glorification: Shown as one of the best characters.

(💯 agree.)

6. Kinjal - Strong, idealistic woman who stood up for Anupamaa against Vanraj and Baa many times, forgives her scamming and cheating husband when was pregnant no less when he becomes paralyzed.

Glorification: Shown as good DIL before and better now.

7. Pakhi - Spoilt, entitled, manipulative, rude. Falsely accuses her husband of DV and fakes suicide attempt.

Glorification - She has been through a lot because of her parents divorce and is simply 'acting out'. Called out twice or thrice.

( I noticed how Anupamaa didn't correct Pakhi for being rude to Maaya, maybe because she was praising Anupamaa).

8. Kavya - Home wrecker, false police complaints and threats to Shah Family, harassed Anupamaa a lot, brought her to panic attack stage with Vanraj. Stands up for herself and the people who do right now.

Glorification - Mostly correct portrayal. Called out always when wrong, praised for her positive character traits.

9. Anupamaa - Journey from victim to abuser.

Glorification:
