Anuj could have married anyone and had a family of his own but having a child was not on his to do list…Anupama didnt have to agree to marry Anuj or to adopt a child with him when she knew her heart wasnt in it…Anuj did not force her to accept him in her life, she did it out of her own will and called it ‘prem’.

I have not an ounce of sympathy for this woman, never have never will..Anuj is just another sacrificial lamb in her divine journey to play victim and glorify herself and all her wrongdoings…

The foundation did not get laid because they jumped into adoption without as much as spending a month being married. Any tom dick and harry will agree that what Anuj did at that time was emotional manipulation. Anupama went along with it and called it “prem”- her inability to stand up to the people she loves. Up until then Anuj was textbook perfect. His obsession with having a family has sprouted out of literally nowhere. He was a bachelor for 26 years before he married Anu because he loved Anu. Now that he has got her all he wants is a kid? Doesnt even want her anymore because there is no kid now? Very inconsistent with his original arc.
Agree with the fact that Anupama is majorly responsible for this mess because of her constant inability to deny the Shahs. But Anuj is punishing her for something she had no control over, while pretending to forgive her repeatedly for what she was totally wrong about. He should have left her because she couldn’t give them time- not because his so-called kid is gone.

I am on Anuj's side. Not that he was faultless when it came to Choti. He did strike the one month deal with Maaya, lied to Anupamaa about the cheek kiss and left Choti alone with Maaya to go back to AnupaMaa's birthday celebrations. He must be held accountable for that.

I agree with Anuj that it is suffocating to be with a partner like Anupamaa. AnupaMaa seemingly has panic attacks because of the abuse she faced by the hands of Vanraj and Baa but will be the first to defend ache Pita (most recent Pakhi - Adhik case) and Maa toh Maa hoti hai.

Anupamaa never encouraged any relation between Toshu, Samar, Pakhi and Anuj and Vanraj was outright territorial and hostile. (Same for Kavya.) Never seen a sick ex couple like them. They always make Anuj (& Kavya) feel like outsiders. In case of love marriages, the relation between step - mother / father is generally good but here Anuj is called 'buddy' 'Anuj ji' and Kavya straight off 'Kavya'. Total strangers. Anupamaa never made an effort to include Anuj as atleast a stepparent to the 3 kids in effect making the 3 kids hers and hers alone. So, agree with Anuj that Anu has her 3 kids , loss is only of Anuj. Baa's khichdi is more important than Choti for Anu. Punar Vivah serial (Kritika and Gurmeet) so sensitively showed the relation between the new partners and children.

All in all , this is the most regressive serial which has successfully managed to put off some people (as I see on SM ) from marrying a divorcee with children, trusting a woman with a bad past and fostering / adopting children. Well done channel and PH 👏

I guess, mahaan Anupamaa must have made some plan with Choti aka Biwi No. 1 movie so that Choti returns to Anuj and Anupamaa will be white washed successfully on Anuj's expense as is happening right now. Before this cheek kiss scene, Anuj was more loved that the titular Anupamaa, so this track reverses that. Anupamaa the Heroine,Vanraj the 'Acche' Hero, Anuj The Fakester 👏

Will try to avoid this nonsense for my mental peace.
