Can someone please explain:

Anuj escaped death (in an attempt to murder by Vanraj which was acquitted by Anupama), had a major surgery had black-outs, was on a wheelchair, had a 7 year old daughter at home.

- Anupama who stayed in the hospital during Kinjal's labour (to provide moral support more than her birth mother) and the following day at the hospital only to return for the homecoming of Pari.

Paritosh was paralysed, Anupama was there ALL night (rightfully) at the hospital, Paritosh is discharged and Anupama came to drop him hom (rightfully), after a bad day, Leela came rushing in the middle of the night/daybreak to take Anupama to Shah House to take care of an ailing Paritosh, she made tea, breakfast, lunch for the family, called for a male nurse (which was the whole issue in the first place, that no outsider would take care of Paritosh and Anupama is the best doctor), delegated tasks to the family, ordered redecorating of the house and returned to Kapadia Mansion also denied going to the hospital with Paritosh.

1. Does it appears she does NOT like stopping your life in nursing anyone example: Anuj, Paritosh?

2. When she did not return to/stay at Kapadia Mansion when the situation was dire with Anuj being so ill, why did she return to Kapadia Mansion when things were fairly in order and infact Shah House was on fire?

I don’t know. I get that Anuj knew about Anupama’s kids and responsibilities before marriage. And all that is fine. But Anupama is just too much. The way writers are showing Anupama’s grown kids can’t function for a few hours without needing her. Literally Anupama and Anuj can’t have a few hours without some sort of interference from Shah family or someone begging for Anupama to go to Shah house. That is not normal behavior, especially for grown adults to be this dependent on their mom. Regardless of whether Anupama is now married to Anuj or not, she should not be as involved in her kids’ lives as she is currently to the point of interfering in every single relationship and thing they do. It is incredibly toxic as a parent to not give your kids the space and freedom to be able to figure things out on their own. This toxicity is what Anuj did not expect. What’s wrong is not Anupama’s motherly love towards her children but what is wrong is that she can’t seem to draw healthy boundaries and understand what her true responsibilities as a parent and wife are. Anupama is just confused and wants to handle everything herself to the point where her whole family members are just supporting characters and don’t have a life of their own. This toxic behavior of Anupama is affecting Anuj and Choti Anu, not the fact that Anuj wanted Anupama to completely cut off her kids. In this case, Toshu is in critical condition but what about all the past instances where Anupama is interfering in Shah private matters for no reason?

I hate to say it but it's the adopting choti Anu that really seemed to ruin their equation for me. I mean, it probably would have gotten ruined anyway because of the Shahs but they accelerated it I think. These two BARELY explored their own marriage equation first and then just pushed a child into it, that too on their honeymoon?! Like Anuj was in such a rush to adopt too, and I thought his life goal was to marry her. 😂 Make it make sense.

Anyway, their spark is just gone. Anuj is too obsessed with choti Anu, and Maa is too obsessed with the Shahs. Too much obsession everywhere. Anuj seems to be done with her too, which makes me question how he was into her for 26 years or whatever.

Bottom line Mahaan Anu is obsessed with shahs.

She needs validation from them and cannot let go.Anuj knew that shahs are her priority and she comes with a baggage . He saw her in few instances before marriage the way she was balancing and impressed how she keeps family together. But now it’s become out of control and As per Anuj char he speaks up only when it reached a saturation point and he is trying to explain /make her understand about boundaries where this lady is not getting it and too late.

Anuj , Mukku , Kinjal or Kavya are characters with no proper family around them and when they saw Anu ,naturally were drawn towards her. Except Anuj none of them understood what she is lacking that is drawing boundaries or saying NO.

One thing about Mahaan Anu which I haven’t gotten over is “why did she not tell Anuj about a voice note of Vanraj threatening to destroy Anuj via Mukku” .that shows a double standard of this character and her vileness.From that point onwards the show has started a downfall. Anu being selfless char has ruined from then.
