Thank you for this precise understanding. Even I liked it because of the same points. Actually, Anupama is a victim of abuse and that's why these are still her coping strategies. Trying to make everyone happy but herself, so that she doesn't get left alone. And truth be told, once abuse is inside the family, the cycle repeats in the next generation too. Which is what Anupama is now perpetuating. Most families right now are suffering from this same thing and knowingly or unknowingly passing on their trauma to their kids. It is difficult for people like Anupama without therapy to come out of narcissistic traits due to their long-term trauma of abuse because she doesn't even realize it. She had been treated the same (taken for granted), and now she thinks that's how children should grow up (samajhdaar), which is just mentally unhealthy. In reality, if this was not a show, Anuj should have taken her to a therapist when he knew she was in a toxic environment and a victim of abuse (emotional abuse is also abuse) to get rid of make her aware of the shit she is up against. Criticizing her won't work, she will only end up losing her mental health and her self-esteem (she already lost it when she was married to Vanraj) because she clearly needs guidance of a professional. This is the only way she won't give that trauma for free to choti Anu.

I had totally forgotten about this episode. Thanks for reminding all of us. Yhis shitnupama is such a double dholki.

The way she is defending her 17+ daughter as meri beti chhoti hai and the way she ignores 6 year old CA.

If this is not double standards and bad parenting then i dont know what is.

And yaha wo koi bechari abla nari jo do hisso mein bat rahi hai aisi bilkul bhi nahi lag rahi. Kitne dum se kavya ko bahar phekne par adi hai aur ab nahi puchhti shahs kis hasiyat se kapadia mansion mein rehte hain. Shahs ke samne zuban nahi khulti iski.

Why can't she give the same attention and love for Anu😡

However, my topic was strictly restricted to this current track. And I know what a big hypocrite Anupamaa is. Oh, and her smirk at the end actually felt like she was happy Vanraj took her side over Kavya and she won🤣

@bold he is her one true love after all.

I agree. This habit of people pleasing is actually very difficult to break free when you have been conditioned for years. I didn't go through abuse like Anupamaa but I can totally understand how difficult it can be for a person to change. I'm currently struggling with it. What makes me mad about her is her refusal to see any fault in her ways. She thinks what she did was right. I'm much younger than her and I'm trying hard to create boundaries. So I know and understand the difficulties that come before such person which is way too easy for others. But her not acknowledging, leave acknowledging, not even trying to realise her mistake doesn't earn her any sympathy from my side. My sympathies are only for Anu who might end up doing the same because of her mother's refusal to change her ways.

I do not think she took toshu and pakhi and samar for granted in shah home for 27 years

This treatment is only for CA

SHE had been treated the same (taken for granted). (I didn't say she took her children for granted)
