What illogical point to talk about when anyone live at same place for long 25 years 25 year is very long time to spend in one house and with same member and that person never step out of house so is it easy forget that house where unspend time for very long time and that too contiously seeing same faces every day for 25 years. You realize this is not reality and a tv show right? And writers decided that she should stay, if they wanted she could leave? Its not like the actual actors spent actual 25 years in that house

Writers can chose to give whatever lesson they want. They chose to give a regressive sexist lesson that a vicitm has "attachment" to her abuser

In real life a victim will thank God she escaped and NEVER EVER go back. She will feel FREEDOM after escaping an abusers clutches

But clearly the writers (and some viewers) have no idea how abuse victims behave. Torture = attachment for them.
