Show mein aise saare chote chote important scenes and conversations ko ignore karke they go ahead with unwanted drama 😔.. I too want such a scene where she bares her heart to him, even though he knows everything.. it’s important for him to know from her and for her to say in order lessen her pain and hence heal.


but it might be too much to ask …ek baar ko V ka dukh dard ka puran milega but inka conversation, I doubt 😭

It is meaningless to see/hear the same dialogues, chars repeat the same mistakes over & over again. It is akin to beating a dead horse!

Here's an alternative that I came up with. Aisa hota toh ....?

Anu & Anuj have returned from Udaipur together (based on my prev drabble post). Anuj has dropped her off at shah house and returned to his apartment. After Anu’s verbal lashing to the family she is disappointed. She tells them that she is not setting foot in this place again where she is not valued.

She walks out, every step on her way out she is reminded of how each family member had insulted her, her own children that she gave birth to were embarrassed about her. She is distressed and keeps walking, then hires an auto.

Her phone rings, it is Anuj she begins talking and he figures that she is upset.

Anuj: Anu, maine aise hi phone kiya tha, waha sab theek hai?😳❤️

Anu: She starts pouring her heart out… goes on and on recounting everything to Anuj.

Anuj: is intently listening, while warming up left over food.He eats while still on the phone, and then settles down on the sofa.

After the long phone conversation, he tries to calm her down and says. …

Anuj: kaash mein tumhare saath hota. Mujhe yakeen hai ki tum akeli handle kar sakti ho, lekin iss waqt mujhe tumhare saath…

The door bell rings… he says " iss waqt koun ho sakta hai? …. Must be some kids playing a prank…”🤔

She hears the bell through the phone and tells him “ jaake dekhiye ne… “

He gets up and opens the door to find Anu is standing there!

He jumps with joy,🤗 but she is too upset to respond to his happiness and walks in with tears in her eyes.😒

She tosses her phone on the coffee table and settles on the sofa, holds her throbbing head.

Anuj brings her a glass of water and sits beside her.❤️

Anuj: eyes towards her forehead and asks “dard ho raha hai?”😲

Anu: bass thoda sa…🤔

Anuj: sar dabaa doon?❤️

Anu: nahi, isski koi zaroot nahi. and then she sets the glass on the table, comes close to him and rests her head on his chest.❤️

Anuj: opens his arms and put his hands on her shoulders and pulls her close; kisses her head that is resting on his chest.🤗❤️

He then begins to lightly massage her shoulders. Anu relaxes, feels as if the burden is vanishing in touch, she nuzzles heaving a sigh of relief.😳😳

Her phone rings – She sees that Baa is calling her. She is in no mood to talk and declines the call. After couple of mins, her phone rings again, it from the Shah house. She ignores the call again.😳🤓

She turns to Anuj and asks –

Anu: woh Samar ne bataya tha, aise phone ki ghanti na bhaje aisa koi… woh kya hai?

Anuj: you mean ringtone?🤓

Anu: nai, woh phone ki ghanti hi na bhaje, aisa kaise karte hai?🤔

Anuj: chuckles, takes her phone, and shows her how to mute her phone.😆

Anu: gets excited and asks…. Aur mujhe koi phone kare, toh mera number hi unko nahi lage… aisa kar sakte hai kya?😳

Anuj: laughs.. you mean block a number?

Anu: haan.. samar ne sikhaya tha… mein bhool gayi.. who kaise karte hai?☺️

Anuj: batao, tumhe kiska number block karna hai?

Anu: baa😊

Anuj: surprised… are you sure?

Anu: haan, bataiye ne…

Anuj: Anu, tum sacch mein baa ka number block karna chahti ho?🤔

Anu: haan, haan… nudges at his arms pushing him to show her…

Anuj: ye lo … ho gaya….

She takes her phone and tosses it back on the coffee table,goes back to resting on his chest.

Anuj: guesses that she has had enough from the Shahs, and wants her to sleep peacefully

Anu mein tumhare liye thakiya leke aata hoon.😳

Anu: nahi, mein yahi theek hoon.😉😳

Anuj: chuckles...okay baba and tightens his arms around her.

He asks her....ek taraf tumhara poora parivaar...aur doosri taraf mein akela. Tum un sabko chodkar...mere pass...ajeeb lag raha hai?🤗

Anu: clicks her tongue and says...."na!, bahut halka mehsoos ho raha hai"☺️

Saari duniya ke liye aap ek insaan hai, par mere liye aap hi saari duniya hai"❤️

She lifts her head to look at him.

Anuj: raises his eyebrows and begins to say... Accha! ...

Interrupting him, she closes her lips on his, slowly tightens her arms around him deepening the kiss❤️😉😳🤗

It breaks my heart seeing Anuj's plight. Anu carries a lot of baggage. I wish they both talk about it.

Now the show is hanging by single thread - MaAn/AK. It wont take too long for this charm to wear off either. My drabble will also soon come to and end :(

What I write in my drabbles is what I want to see on TV, infact dying to see something like this on TV.

But unfortunately that will never come true. So, my personality#2 comes out to give my piece of mind to makers. 😲

Scene: Shagun ceremony day. Anu & Anuj are in the kitchen.

The scene in today's episode was endearing, but I would have loved for them to have a conversation about the impending big step they both are about to take. Here is how I imagined -

Anu is making tea. He is sitting and staring at her. She asks..

Anu: aap yaha kya kar rahe hai.. (something to the effect that everyone is outside why are you here, I feel awkward)😳

Anuj: mein ne pehle bhi kaha tha… tumhe akele kitchen mein kaam karne nahi doonga

Anu: toh phir kuch kaam kijiye, aise baithke kya kar rahe hai?🤔

Anuj: okay! Batao kya karna hai…… rubs his palms together readying himself to work

Anu: gives him chores to do … in the meantime she asks….

Aapko meetha zyaada pasand hai ya namkeen?

Anuj: Namkeen accha lagta hai, meetha bhi pasand hai… 1 or 2 you know… kyun pooch rahi ho?🤓

Anu: aise hi… muhje meetha bahut bahut pasand hai….😛😛

Anuj: actually.... mujhe bhi…and runs his fingers over his lips suggestively😉😳

Anu: rolls her eyes. 🤔 And continues… hamari shadi ho rahi hai, iss ka matlab ye nahi ke humari pasand, na-pasand ek ho.🤔

Anuj: Sach batao toh mujhe yakeen hi nahi ho raha ki hamari shadi hone wala hai….❤️

Iss baare mein, mujhe kuch kehna hai.. tum bura toh nahi maanogi?

Anu: nai, batayiye…..

Anuj: Muje pata nahi ke tumhare mann mein kya hai… par… As you know… I am a simple man, mujhe ye thamjam bilkul pasand nahi…..toh mein soch raha tha ki harmari shadi bahut simple ho.😳

What do you think? Agar tumhe grand celebration chahiye toh mein compromise….

Anu: nahi,… mujhe bhi bahut simple function chahiye. Sirf badhon ka ashirwaad, aur bacchon ka pyaar…choti si party....Mere pass….yaani bapuji ke paas itne … she stops.. jab ladki waale sab karcha…😲

Anuj: Stop it Anu! Ye kya ladki wale laga rakha hai?😡 Gets irritated….

Humari soch badalni chahiye. Aage jaake hum dono saath mein rahenge, saath saari zindagi bitaayenge toh, shadi ka karcha bhi saath uthayenge…..👍🏼

Anu: magar… kya kahenge…

They continue exchanging their thoughts and come to a conclusion…..

Anuj: Anu, shaadi ke baad 2 din… sirf 2 din ke liye… hum kahi dur, matlab iss bheed se bahut dur…jaye toh kaisa rahega…. idea?😎

Anu: sabko chodke kaise….?Hum bapuji, kinjal, sa…🤓

Anuj: irritated with her, 😡 interrupts ...“Mohatarma ! Log shadi ke baad honeymoon pe akele jaate hai. Saare parivaar sameth teerth yatra par nahi”

Anu: laughs… pata hai mujhe….. mein bass aapko sataa rahi thi… aap gusse mein bahut bahut bahut pyaare lagte hai…😳🤗

Anuj: achcha! frames her face in his hands and brings them close to his own… his eyes hover over her lips, he tilts his head to meet her lips…..just then they hear the sound of tea boiling on the stove overflows… just like their cup of happiness.❤️

Anuj: Kisses on her nose and says…. “shadi ke baad dekh loonga…… shadi ke baad..” and frees her from his hold.😉❤️

Minutes later after fixing tea & snacks they both come out and offer it to everyone. They both sit next to each other, and Anu announces to everyone…

Anu: bapuji… hum dono ne decide kiya hai ki bahut simple shadi hogi. Shadi, woh radha-krishn ke mandir me hoga. Wahi, jo jignes bahi ke dukan se aage padta hai…

Anuj: adding to what she said, he continues…..bapuji, mein jaanta hoon ki aap shadi aapke ghar me rakhna chahte the. Lekin, hum dono chahte hai ki hamari shadi mandir mein ho.

Anu: Bapuji, kanyadaan ki vidhi aap hi karenge… par shadi mandir mein hogi. …

Everyone has mixed feelings about this idea and try to argue with them. But eventually give in their wishes.

Anuj: Anu, Shadi ke baad.. ..…woh bhi bataa do sabko…

Anu: starts to blush thinking about honeymoon and the intimate moments they had in the kitchen and begins to fumble on words.... woh mein, kaise…. kya kahoon.....😳😳

Anuj: Chalo…. Mein bata deta hoon… shadi ke baad, shaam ko… he looks at her teasingly…..😉

Anu: is nervous, embarrassed thinking about what he is about openly tell everyone…😵

Anuj: Shaam ko, ek choti si reception rakhna chahte hai…. Mere business partners, colleagues ke liye…

Turns to look at her… “shadi ke baad… “ and winks at her 😉

Anu: 😳❤️

Honestly, I am not interested in candy floss romance for this show. I wanted to see the protagonist progress after divorce and create an identity of her own in a male dominated world. The story has taken different turn after AK was introduced, and I still hoped to see her liberate.

But, I can’t seem to understand where the story is going. Neither can I stand the silliness that is weaved into each episode. So tried to write something I would have liked to see while keeping the romantic zing in place.😊
