mini rant...
sigh.
i have seen this happen so many times, with so many shows over the years and now it has happened to our beloved Anupamaa.
the general consensus seems to be that no one is happy with the way things are going. fair.
im just really surprised to see so many people "quitting, boycotting, retaliating, taking a break" etc.
do you guys realize how impactful that is ? people stop watching, the PH starts meeting the audience's demands and all of a sudden a bunch of unqualified people are dictating what happens next on the show.
how entertaining is it when a show goes exactly the way how you want it to ?
my biggest question is why do we lose faith in the production house, creatives etc SO QUICKLY (like i see the ranting and raving going on in here after 2-3 episodes sometimes) when they are the same people who brought us this marvellous show in the first place?
i would much rather see what they have planned out than have them follow twitter, IG, IF etc fans who try to "dictate" where things should go...
im sharing a quote from an interview IF did with Ashish last week that sums it up perfectly :
He spoke to us about the switch from positive to negative once again, and the vibe that Aneri and Gaurav have brought on sets. About the switch once again and how does he get it right, he tells us,
''I think I am enjoying this process, and as I have told you earlier, in our daily routine, we never remain negative, positive, or grey, and we keep switching, depending on people, situations, and how life is treating us. At this point, he has tried every bit he has learnt from his father and that hasn't served his purpose, but he has those values from his father. At the same time, he is also his mother's son, and Anupama has taught him how he should be a helping hand, and more than taking, he should be giving, and somewhere in the world it will be accepted and it will be given back, but the intentions are best known to the writers.
okay, let the tomato throwing begin. 😒

Totally agree with each and every word specially in red.
Seriously i dont get why people make such a big deal out of a less liked track, a scene, even a dialogue. I am like...take a chill pill guys. Your social media revolution wont change anything🤣 plus its a track, it will be over before you know it😆 if it affects you so much then quit watching it. Why spread hatred and increase your own bp😆
I know watching a show daily, coming on social media to discuss everything about it...when we are ao much invested in a thing then definitely it will impact our psyche. Trust me, i have been there, done that and learned a lesson. The thing is you dont let fictional show to affect you negatively. Its not that important.
And about the show, characters, storyline, people need to learn to keep patience. I have friends in itv industry and what i got to learn from them that its not easy to make a show specially daily soap considering the time constraints of delivering daily ideas to take track forward and to see that it takes care of everything from equal preference to actors, quality storyline, dialogues, budget, itv drama factor, trp audience, the ever changing demands of audience etc. Writers are not that empowered to show exactly what they have written, their write ups goes under many scanners. So its easy to curse them but we should try to imagine what it will be like to put ourself in their shoes.
