Hey peeps,
So I wanted to post it tomorrow but seeing Rups imitating Gaurav in the live session today, I couldn't hold myself from posting it now!
Confused, read to know!
MaAn OS: A little more of you in me!
A rare occurrence had forced a rather worried Anupama to grace Anuj's bedroom at the odd hours of the night.
GK and Mukku had brought in his favorite dessert, chocolate fudge, on their way back from the night walk. Three of her loud calls across the hallway went unresponded by him. Had it been anyone else, she wouldn't have cared to bother but it's about Anuj, the guy who didn't wait till she completes her hollering of his name once before appearing in front of her.
Anu's gaze skimmed through his immaculate room, over the places she had the hope to find him. She finally spotted Anuj at the attached balcony of his room, rather tense in his stance and haughty in his actions. The telltale sign of the business tycoon at the worst of his temper or the best of his telling-off. He's unforgiving when it comes to messing around with his business. Someone is not going to have a pleasant night tonight.
Sympathising with the poor guy being fried on the phone by this enigma stood in his work-out grey jogger teamed with a maroon tank top, Anu sighed, deeply. He's still oozing charm and being his attractive best, even in his sweaty, post-work-out, infuriated state. Her heart was melting faster than the chocolate fudge with the hotness.
'Kisiko itna handsome hona allowed nahi hona chahie.' Anu thought, scrunching her nose, admiringly.
As she turned on her heels to leave, her eyes landed on the spread of his fresh set of change over his bed, a simple three-piece cream-colored nightdress. Unable to control her urges, she tenderly ran her hand over the cloth, cherishing the feel of softness beneath her fingers.
His wardrobe was left open, she noticed. Perhaps he was in the midst of selecting his office suite for the coming day. She presumed Anuj liked to plan his day in advance.
In a few short steps, she reached the opened almirah and flicked her hand between a sea of black, grey, white, and brown. Sighing exasperated, Anu zeroed down on a rare burgundy shade her eyes were pleased with. Picking up her proud selection, she placed the designer three-piece suit over the side table to let Anuj know what she wants. She's sure, he won't disappoint her. Never had, never will.
Enchanted, Anu brushed her fingers softly over other of his belongings, trying to memorise the texture of her association. Her eyes widened a wee bit realising the surplus number of branded watches, shoes, shades, and wallets Anuj owned.
Her hands particularly lingered over his golden 'Kada' she had found herself attracted to in so many instances. Wondering why he had stopped wearing it, Anu kept the transparent box of Kada over his suit, wordlessly communicating her innocent demand. Biting the inside of her cheeks, she smiled delightfully. She definitely had pushed the lines of her claims further.
Giving herself a reason of cleaning the non-existent mess, Anu gingerly caressed the office supplies over his tiny study table. She fiddled with his pen, trying to mimic his movements when he donned the thinking cap. Re-arranging the small stack of his files, she turned off the study lamp.
As she was making her way out of his room after her extended stay, her eyes caught her fleeting reflex on the full-size mirror attached to his dresser. Proceeding closer to it, her face glimmered with harmless mischief.
Clearing her throat, she straightened herself at the same time trying to push a non-existent tie towards her neck, imitating Anuj's signature nervous move. Pushing back the imaginary glasses over the bridge of her nose, she flicked her wrist and pretended to adjust the watch.
Furrowing her brows, adopting a deadly serious expression, she pulled down the sleeve-ends around both her wrists. Modulating her voice to make it deep and throaty, like Anuj, she demanded from her own reflection, "GK, it's time for my hot chocolate?"
She laughed wholeheartedly at her antics and slapped over her forehead for behaving like a 4 year and not 40 something.
Smoothening herself, she promptly jumped back to being Anuj's replica in front of the mirror. Inhaling a large bout of air, she puffed her chest out. Throwing both her hands by her side, she began to walk animatedly.
"I don't think, mai aese chalta hu."
Choking on her own bubbling laughter, she whirled around faster than light. Anuj was leaning over the glass-slider of the balcony with his arms crossed around his chest. His face grazed with a half-smile she found hard to read. Was it a naughty smirk or an offended pursed-lip?
"As far as I know," he pretended to think harder, scratching his index finger over his forehead, slyly hinting a few of his moves she forgot to imitate, "aese toh bodyguard type log chalte hai, you know, jinke toned muscular biceps hote hai."
Each of his words was calculative and deliberate. With each word he took a step towards Anu and caged her in his charismatic aura. Initially invading her thinking space followed by her close physical space; trapping her, disarming her.
"Arey toh aapke dole-shole kisi filmstar se kam thodi hai," Anu blurted out, being pushed at the edge of her thinking capacity.
His smirk grew wider and more alluring, making Anu realise of her slip up. She bit her tongue and focused on the pattern of the floor carpet.
"Accha! Tumne kab dekhe?" Anuj took a meaningful step ahead, tilting his head slightly, he urged for her to meet his gaze.
"Woh.. Woh.."
He raised one of his eyebrows, smugly, proud on himself to have her tongue-tied and strung out.
"Woh.. Kaka.. Mukku.. ne Jalebi fafda..khaana.." Anu couldn't form a coherent sentence, her thoughts imbalanced and her words betrayed her. Having Anuj just a few inches away from her face didn't help her case either.
Collecting his brows together in the center, Anuj pretended to think. Tilting his face down, peering from above his glasses, he queried, "Are we having breakfast post-dinner. Vaise I won't mind that, I have lost enough energy on the workout already."
Closing his lips in a straight line, he fought with the smile that wanted to spill out.
Hiding her upper face behind both her palms, Anu tried to get a grip on herself. Fumbling her way out, she managed to utter, "Cho..chocolate fudge.. khaane aajaei."
He smiled at the expense of her awkwardness, stopping abruptly in his compulsive action of pushing his glasses over the base of his nose.
"Damn! She notices me!"

So, thoughts about it?
