Anuj and Anu's Proposal Shayari

Was just wondering if Anu were to recreate and propose Anuj the way he did. How would it be, took a dig at one of his first shayari..

Anuj:

ख्वाबों मैं एक शहर है पर आबाद नहीं है

तुम याद हो हमें, तुम्हें हम याद नहीं है

Anu:

ख्वाबों सा सजाया एक ख़रोंदा है पर बसा नहीं है

दरवाज़ा तो खुला है, उन्हें रास्ता याद नहीं है

English Translations

Anuj:

Khawabon main ek shahar hai par aabad nahi hai

tum yaad ho hume, tumhe hum yaad nahi hai

Anu:

Khawabon sa sajaya ek gharounda hai par basa nahi hai

darwaza to khula hai, unhe rasta yaad nahi hai

s/n: gharounda means nest, house.

I can't read Hindi 😭 Can you write the Hindi lines of the shayari in English? 😃

Loved the lines! I would love to see Anu doing some shayari for Anuj too - of course not as great as his, but at least loving enough to express her feelings

Thank you.. didn't realise.. infact while writing I felt like have forgotten to write in hindi and my hindi handwriting has gone bad, due to lack of practice...

It definitely feels like that - Anuj is so used to just rotating around Anu that he can't even see that she's slowly gravitating to him, too 😳

I'm that nanimaa type of soul that loves shayari, ghazals and alliterations 😳

So I never had formal learning in Gujarati, Hindi or Punjabi ... so reading/writing takes me ages && the hardest thing is vowels for me 😆Takes me forever but I appreciate the Hinglish, Gujlish etc...let's me know I'm going in the right direction🤣

Thus, Komal please keep writing in both ways bc this way I'll get to practice & become better <3
