How old is Malvika?

Today's episode has left me very confused about the age gap between Anuj and Mukku.

1) Baa thinks Malvika's age is almost half of that of Vanraj - that would make Mukku around 25 years old.

Anuj is around 44 years old. That makes Mukku 19 years younger than Anuj.

But Mukku was atleast a teenager when Anuj celebrated his 25th birthday (she should have been 6 years old as per Baa's analysis)

So Baa's analysis is wrong.

2) Based on the flashbacks, Anuj was still in school when Mukku was unwell (one of the scenes). But judging her age based on the fact that she is talking, she is atleast 5 years old - Anuj would be around 17 (I guess you can't be in school beyond this age). The age gap in this case would be around 12 years.

So, when Anuj was 25, Mukku was 13. Currently, she is atleast 32 years old.

What do you all think?

The flashbacks were faded where Anuj was played by a young actor with Gaurav's voice over, but Malvika was still Aneri, but in overalls, attempting to pass her off as a young teenager.

So if Anuj's accident happened after he finished college but when they were still poor, he could have been any age between 23 to 28.

By that logic we can estimate and pass off Malvika as 15 (considering she loves Complan and grew really tall)

We can assume their age gap to be 10 to 13 years max.

PS It was a good thing they played the old Muqabla version as a flashback, else I would have pointed it out as a goof-up (not that ITV really cared about logic anyway)

I too think Malvika is in her early 30s. The Kapadia siblings have it in their genes to look young 😆 Aneri in real life is 27 years old, so playing a 30 year old character is not a big deal 😊

I also think Malvika is 31-32 and Anuj is 44 so they have 12-13 yrs difference.. which makes sense considering Mukku was a teenager when her parents died and Anuj being her only guardian is so protective of her. He considers her like his kid.

Btw, Anu is 43.. her birthday is in feb which is coming up so she is few months younger than Anuj. I hope they show Anu’s birthday celebration ache se this time, preferably surprise thrown by Anuj 😳

Yes, she's around 32, probably an year or two younger than Kavya! :) But, Kavya is already extremely insecure :D :D

I find Anuj calling Mukku 'baccha' very cute and I know that info was not needed here😆

There parents died 20 years back in car crash, GK told during Janmashtami on why they never celebrated Anuj's Birthday..

I feel Mukku should be around 27-30 but not more than 30...

Reason behind my thinking is the impact she carries of her parents death.. honestly by age of 12-13 kids are bit grown up, this is age when they act independent sort...

So, for her loss to be really big, she should be of tender age.. on the other side, this makes age gap between Anuj and her more as like 15-18 Hence he might be fatherly for her calling her as bacha or something..

After 17, college age in US, she might have asked to move out as is common there...by then she might have also thought that if she goes away from Anuj and GK she might also forget her parents pain..

And after trying for 10 years she is finally home...she is mentally disturbed, in trauma for sure. Will be interesting to see how her character evolves...

Gaurav actually gave a look test with Rups before being finalized..but Aneri didn't gave any test she was directly casted after explaining the role... So am guessing, she might have done something similar earlier.

Yes.....I am so so eager to see Anu's birthday celebration, as per serial also they skipped last year.. I want to see how would Anuj celebrate this time...💃🍾🎂
