In defense of Anupama - she's really a rockstar

I feel like it's just become a normal thing to criticize anupama for everything she does. Her involvement in the Shah family, what she does in office, how she dresses etc. The only way forward that will make many happy is if she instantly realises that she's going to be happy with Anuj and dives into a relationship with him.

But that's really not the point of the show as much as many would like. Yes it would be nice to see her work struggles, and yes she says sexist things like only a bahu can make or break a house, and it would be nice to have those issues addressed in the story. But why are people so mad at her for being part of her family!?

Do the people here believe that her relationship with a family is just because of her ex husband? Does a person have to lose all their meaningful relationships if their marriage breaks? Her husband's parents and sister have been family for 25 years, and all those children are as much hers as Vanraj's. So when she's being treated right, why should she not go to a place that she used to call home and she still has attachment towards?

It's the rest of Shah family that's problematic now. Vanraj is always the worst, treats anybody he is married to terribly. Kavya doesn't deserve to be treated like that. And Kavya is also terrible. Blaming the ex wife for all things. Yeh government opposition ko blame karne jaisa hai .I wish the makers of the show would stop pitting women against each other, fighting over a terrible man like vanraj.

But Anu has been awesome. In the last week she's gone to work, hung out with friends, gone to a PTA meeting, sent emails, chilled with a cute friend, googled something she didn't know, organised a party for what is equally her family. That's quite amazing really. She's respectful of Anuj's feelings and she's kind to him, and she's been kind to herself. Hell, she's been kind to Kavya too. That's really something.

Sure she gives some gyaan, but that's her. And Anuj will speak up for her, that's awesome. I wish people would complain about unnecessary drama, but not about Anu. She's been a complete champ.

I don't think Anupama ko apni family se attach hone se koi problem hain but the way she gets involve with v matters a guy who never respected her torchure her will now give gyaan to him not to break his marriage that is quite overboard sorry .

Anupama visiting Shah's house and her attachment to in laws and sons daughter se koi problem nahi thi atleast not with me anuj aane ke baad bhi uski life main I don't think shash family se break hoga I will not be surprised if anuj also shift there frankly....

Anupama attachment to inlaws is highly toxic & unhealthy as she led 25 yrs of abuse which effected her brain part very badly .

Bapuji is father figure

Baa is her bhagwan

Vanraj is good father & son

Ye sirf Anupama ko lagta hai, reality bilkul opposite hai iske

These all r symptoms r of her effected brains , she got conditioned all these years that she has to look after every person happiness in shah house specially vanraj , she still is doing it varna no woman with a sane mind will ever play daughter daughter with baa after she humiliated her & questioned her character or even let vanraj shadow also touch her .

Shah family just use Anupama they are really not her family, she is just a punching bag & problem solver for d family .

Aaj hi precap le lo dolly asking Anupama to look in Vanya matter , why dolly don't have mouth or hasmukh or leela Shah don't have mouth ?

On holy drunken outburst of Anupama she herself told how much this family was her & how much bapuji was a father figure to her.

Before her 25 marriage anniversary when Anupama got panick attack Anupama revealed to devika how she has no one to call her own in this family .

Anupama needs to maintain distance from this family for her sanity & mental peace . She only had responsibilities towards her own kids no towards vanraj & his parents.

Why should Anuj or devika speak up for Anupama when lady dont care to listen to their sane advices , even her own mother adviced her but she turn deaf ear

Ha ha, maybe many of you didn't have a problem, but I saw a few kavya truth bomb posts. And I disagreed.

Anupama has left the house one week ago, that's all! After that she came to drop baa back, and when she fell ill. Then she organised a party in a house that she stayed in till last week!

Anuj came once on Dusshera because Samar was an idiot, once on diwali to ask them to leave anu alone and once to drop bapuji, and he stood outside, while tamasha happened, waited and took Anu back. He doesn't spend all his time outside their house! There was no truth bomb in Kavya's dialogues! Arre when Kavya had a full time job with Vanraj, woh toh hamesha hi waha pe rehti thi!

About photo with Vanraj, like someone said, if she didn't have a problem with it, so be it! She took a selfie with Vanraj and paakhi too. Doesn't mean she's going back to him.

It's still not okay for Kavya to do that. Usko problem hai to she could have told V to not do that, not Anupama, jo uski kuch nahi lagti hai

I get your point and I don't know about others but I am not angry with her for being a part of the family. I am angry with her being a part of that family who assassinated her character only a month ago. Yes you can be in touch with your ex husband's family but only if they treated you kindly and no one treated her kindly for the past 26 years. Only Samar, Nandini and Kinjal treats her in the right way. And on top of that she is smiling as though nothing happened with the same woman and man- Baa and Vanraj who blamed her for everything in the past, who are assassinating her character regularly for the past 1 to 2 months. She is smiling with same man who cheated her for 9 years and who emotionally and mentally tormented her for the past 26 years. And I am angry with Anuj too that he didn't say anything to baa. I know ki baa Umar mein usse baadi hai toh vo unhe kuch kehna nahi chahta and unke parati respectful hai and I respect that and I even like this quality of Anuj ki vo logon ki Taraf bahut respectful hai par respectful way mein bhi vo keh sakta tha ki main apke bulane par function mein aa toh gaya hoon par main apko jo apne Anupama and Gk ke baare mein bola uske baad kabhi maaf nahi kar punja. And I am angry and disappointed with Anuj for being cordial with a man like Vanraj.

So I don't want Anupama to have a relationship with baa, Vanraj, Toshu and baapuji at all because it is toxic and unhealthy and any relationship that is toxic or unhealthy whether it be family or friends or boyfriend should be broken immediately

Bapuji is just a meethi churi nothing else , most of d time he is d one who is problem creator of anupama's life , it was his awesome decision to stop Anupama after divorce which made her life a living hell . It's his silence which give encouragement to vanraj & leela to abuse Anupama all these 25 yrs.

Only samar , Kinjal or Nandini who actually cares for her who dont suck her blood , pakhi change according to situation but then she is still a teenager.
