I will agree that I was 2% in doubt as he is extremely emotional when it comes to his Anu. But boy, today he had the control too! Even though he was showing aggressiveness, he did have that apt control and he took the step just to shut Leela. I am proud and just like GK said - that's our boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Anu had the atmost respect for him in her gaze and these things will make her fall for him. In every step it matters a lot how one behaves, how one reacts, how one stands beside, how one supports -- all the future happenstances and nuances of MaAn are going to be in their favor to become a couple!!

Makers -- excellent dialog to Anuj!! Kudos --- am overwhelmed.smiley27smiley27

Yes the guy comes as a whiff of fresh air. Very respectful measured but precise in his responses. Ladla does not like Anuj becoming Hero in the eyes of his children. Anuj is dignified and it is no wonder that one cannot help falling in love with Anuj.

and this is precisely the reason our Anu will not be able to resist herself!!! ❤️

But. I ask for one thing. One. Anu needs to answer Baa without crying. Politely and elegantly but no crying. She can learn that from Anuj.

we have a long way to go. I’m ready for it. But a good role model approach like learning from Devika and Anuj - working - living your best life and understanding that some people cannot be won over and THAT IS OK approach will do well on ITV.

we need to move away from the approach that everyone should love us. Some people just don’t. But we have to be ok with that and not waste energy changing their minds unless we have done something wrong. ITV needs to stop romanticising sacrifice and everyone loving you mahanta

P. S : I try to keep it short but cannot! So much to say

Yess! The people pleaser character trait has to go. Usually the cast on ITV shows remains the same for years on end, which is why I think they altogether avoid the letting go part and just redeem a negative character. But I would love it if she actually cuts out some people from her life completely and we can have new people come in. I mean that'll end the drama and thus the show 😆 but one can hope I suppose.

I would love to see new people coming in her life - work wise and personally as well. Let her see that the world is full of good people too!!

Leela's insults primarily consisted of facts that Hasmukh couldn't provide her with material comforts.

She forgot that he was an understanding husband, never undermined Leela (like his son did to Anu), never committed infidelity, and is a reason that his children respect Leela and do not look down upon her (like Anupamaa's kids do) even though she is an outspoken woman who is never least uncomfortable in giving slap threats to anyone.

Her judgements were limited to the fact that he didn't buy her jewelry, or never had a vehicle, or that his house was small. A strong reason why she also overlooks Vanraj's faults is because he gave her a comfortable life

This is also the reason housewives are always unappreciated, because they mostly do everything at homes except earn money.

Awesome post.. Kudos!!

Nothing to add about Leela Sah and how she represents the so-called society at its toxic best/worst!!!

What I do not understand is how can this woman still have some kind of implicit expectations from Anupama.

She has called Anupama names for not being able to save her own marriage and of not being able to hold her son's fancy so much so that he had to look for a match of his standard outside of the marriage..

Anupama is good-for-nothing (as per Leela Saha) but it is still on her to maintain each of Leela and Vanraj Saha's relations intact. Besides, Leela's expectation that Anupama should be understanding/accommodating enough to keep the fabric of her and her grandson's marriages intact is something beyond my understanding.

Agar sab Anu ko karna hai to khud kya karenge?

hahahaha, well said. She is fully delusional and the exact opposite of practice what you preach. No morals at all and the last person to be called as a wife or even a mother!!
