Agree with his opinion.
I started watching the show with great interest and enthusiasm but found myself telling my young children, this is not the way to behave, you shouldn’t be accepting this, this is sooo wrong etc it paints a picture as this is ok, acceptable for others to behave like this, women should tolerate this and men can behave like thus. I continued watching hoping to see the change and to show my children, look Anupama took a stand for herself and change is possible if you strive for it.
After the divorce (which took forever for them to get to the court) I lost hope especially when Anupama decided to stay in Shah household.
Being positive I thought hey, it’s a different concept let’s see how this is portrayed. Badly, as expected as it’s a drama! I stopped watching until Anuj arrived! And now I am watching for entertainment value… not the message as there isn’t one, as on one hand they are saying a male and female can be friends, Anuj knows his boundaries etc which he does but ultimately he does love Anupama and there will come a time (we hope) that their relationship changes. What about all the lectures that were given prior to formation of this new relationship. As they say, never say never …. You don’t know what the future holds. But in this case I suppose the writers do know what the future hold!
Just my thoughts… I do want them to get together as Anupama does deserve happiness and real love. Nobody is too old for love, respect and friendship x
