Anupama Anarkali mai Muje 40-45 ki lagti hai which is her age . Gajra with high bun mai siddha 50-54 wala effect aa raha tha aisa feel hua .

And yeah I agree that how they dressed her was a let down though, like even if they want to keep her in saree why not make her leave her hair loose, and give some lighter jewellery so that the age difference doesn't look so pronounced (considering her and Anuj are supposed to be the exact same age 😕)?

And if they are so keen to dress her like this only, why not take an older looking actor??

Someone like Hiten Tejwani, or Ronit Roy would have been right for the role!

@bold : they didn’t consider older looking actor because maine suna hai inka theme he aisa hai that partners ko same age ka dikhayege but anupama jaisi women jo maximum age tak doormat rahi ho woh jaldi age wali ho jati hai.

Bengali anupama and Anuj mai bhi aise he dikhaya hai . Bengali Anuj looks younger than anupama. So may be they are following same theme everywhere.

Anupama’s dressing is damn gaudy with that gajra + high bun for reunion party. Messy bun bhi accha lagta , high bun was like forcefully anupama ko 50+ he dikhana hai 🤢

Anuj and Anupama are classmates so it doesn't mean they have to look of same age be it young or old . We all have friends/classmates who are of our age and some might look much elder than us and some even much younger than us. all depends on body type ,how they have maintained and environment we are in and how physicaly mentally fit we are .

Some like to dress modern way and some like to dress like behen ji,aunty ji ( this is how people address them! 🤔) and here Anupama is lady who have kids and who was in stressful life unlike Anuj who is man ,unmarried and sure no mental stress like what Anupama have gone through from past 20+ years .so she needs time and so do makers and I also hope it happens soon and Anupama herself will change when she will realise it and wants to and may be this what makers also want. They say good clothes gives you also confidence .Be it for herself or for sake of Anuj after falling in love though he will not force for any change or taunt her but love do change us and makes us do impossible things 🤣so Anupama may also do it in future for herself and for her love Anuj

That's another thing I don't get though, why would someone with Anu's life *hypothetically* look years older than most people her age?? She has been financially comfortable all these years, and what all ill treatment Vanraj inflicted on her was very much low-key, mental/emotional stuff (which is why makers cast a pretty actress who looks 40+ like Rupali in the first place).

Like seriously she is not a poor woman working as a maid suffering physical abuse at home that her lifestyle would make her look far older than most of her contemporaries...

Abhi bhi kaha anupama apne choice ka dressing kar rahi hai??

Even after divorce, anupama is wearing Saree because it’s baa and vanraj’s choice.

Anupama’s choice was always suits but vanraj didn’t allow her and after torture for years, now she herself has forgotten her choices, likes and dislike.

Exactly! She looks way more older than most of her contemporaries! AND makers are doing this forcefully!! She is around 44-45 but they give her dressing like 50-55 years old lady.

Since day 1 anupama’s life is full of majduri, I think Leela /vanraj ne usko kabhi shopping bhi nahi karne deti hogi and saloon bhi nahi jane deti hogi! Dekha na Aj bhi Leela kaise anupama ke reunion party mai jane ke against thi!!!

Jab 18 ki age mai pehla baccha ho gaya ho tab mothers itna agewali nahi dikhti hai! It’s nothing like anupama become first timemother at the age of 35 so she is older mother. Definitely she is quite younger mother of 3.

It's not easy for lady like Anupama to come out of the shell all of sudden .need time and she is actually slowly. She had 25 years of stressful life. For us to sit and comment here is very easy but for people like Anupama it's very tough in reality and few unnecessary things makers add for drama don't have to bother about it .

Changes will happen and it will be journey. It will take time in real life also and in shows they have run it for long time so it will take long time all depending on trps🤣

It would be odd if they changed her overnight. She has been victim for 25 years. She has lost interest in herself. All life the Shah family treated her like servant. It would be unreal overnight she changed or over night she gains confidence.

She is changing gradually for sure. Like today episode she told Kavya to go get ur check, I am not going. She stood for herself. Even stood in front of Vanraj that signing think was a mistake. It happened with you too, a frd cheated on u. She did keep her points.

I am hoping with Anuj, she will start loving and respecting herself. Falling in love, taking care of herself. It is going to be very interesting. Relationship can change a person so much. Vanraj was pure toxic and with Anuj she can finally understand Love.
