"Hiding" has a negative connotation that is used to associate with something/someone who is at fault or makes a mistake.

In this situation,Kinjal is not at fault at all. Kinjal feels uncomfortable sharing the details with family perhaps out of embarassment. That must be respected, IMO.

Exactly! Nobody should use “hiding” word for the women who is victim and not at any fault.

There is huge difference in hiding and not want to open up in front of every next person.

Absolutely. Confidentiality is the bedrock of the POSH Act also. A person is under no obligation to share their personal experience with anyone, and the expectation is that the person with whom it’s shared should keep it confidential.

I usually side with Anupama very often, even in her most exasperating times, but this storyline directly links to an area where I work, and I am finding it very uncomfortable because it is not portrayed as well as it could have been. I am glad they emphasised that it is not just “touch” which is harassment, which is an important point, but otherwise they could have shown it a little better.

Aj kal sab TV par savdhan india and crime petrol dekhte hai . And there is nothing sort of nirbhaya kand so if victim kinjal doesn’t wishes to open up with every next person then it’s not crime from victim kinjal’s side .

It’s incident which can disturb heart and mind so if someone doesn’t wants to open up then it’s totally fine.

Kinjal’s mindset was never about hiding , it was all not about doesn’t wishes to open up with next member and if she has trusted on someone then they should act maturely in place of acting hastily.

Lol victim ke personal space/identity ko violate kar k toh kanoon bhi society ko kuch nahi batata hai.

India ka kanoon female victim ki wishes ki bahot respect karta karta hai.

india ka kanoon bhi jab female victim comfortable ma ho tab kuch nahi karta hai .

Shaayad aapko pata nahin hai ki kaanon encourage karta hai women ko aise bade crime ko na chupaye woh force nahin karta hai but woh encourage karta hai kyonki baaki logon ko bhi sabak milta hai

Apni personal baat to nahin share kari because she feel uncomfotable but baaki jo office mein kaam kar rahi hai unki security ka kya woh kyon haraasament se gujre
