I work in this area of prevention of sexual harassment and have been in HR for over 13 years, and believe me - there are enough strong laws now that force companies to take action. This is just a stupid way to create more drama.

Not denying at all. Anupama supports Kinjal and like the way they both have each other's backs. They both have a great rapport.

Something I felt was not right - Kinjal requested her not to inform anyone at home. But Anupama did not keep that up. The next moment, we see the whole family, each member(including mamaji, Nandu!) has an opinion on it. It was sad!

In the grand scheme of things, it is a very small thing to worry about at the moment of distress. But still, I did not like how she broke Kinjal's trust.

The right thing would have been to first comfort Kinjal and tell her that it is okay to confide with family and Toshu(v. important) get her buy in before announcing to the family.

Hiding word is extremely wrong to use here.

There is a difference in between hiding and not willing to open up with everyone.

Sab sabko batane mai comfortable nahi hote hai . If she is not comfortable to open up, you should wait ! That’s it!

For me it is hiding only. U can use what u want aur kinjal ne bola yeh baat ko yahi khatm kar dete hai so of course she was hiding and want to close matter permanent

Lol victim kinjal hai and india ka kanoon bhi victim ko decide karne ka haqq deta hai that how she wants to proceed in her case or not.

Hiding word ka use karne se Indian law ne victim ko decide karne ka jo haqq diya hai woh change nahi ho jayega.
