She didn't put choose family over her husband. SHE PUT FORWARD A COMPROMISE BUT IT WAS TOSHU WHO DIDN'T ACCEPT THE COMPROMISE. HE REJECTED HER IDEA TO DIVIDE TIME BETWEEN PENTHOUSE AND SHAH HOUSE. SO HE IS AT FAULT (again!). SHE WAS READY TO MEET HALFWAY. TOSHU DIDN'T WANT TO COME. And it is not simply abput attatchment either. Toshu didn't get much luxuries so now he wants them. Kinjal didn't get much love so now she wants love. Both may be right in there own perspective but still it is never right to insult your parents and grandparents when they aren't actually at fault. Many said that baa's name calling rakhi was vad since she was toshu's mil but don't people notice how she treats the shah family. From day one, she insults them since they are less rich than her. Is that right? She is the one who creates uneccessary drama. Why wasn't that pointed out? Oh right, because she is providing toshu with the luxuries he always wanted! Kinjal, without having any fault of hers, is suffering the most.

It is true ki maayke aur sasural ke beech mein patni hi pisti hai.

And I had read on india forums, someone had rightly written-

Jiski laathi, uski bheins. Jiska paisa, uska toshu.

Flying high? Even if he is not atleast he knows better than staying there.

I would have really appreciated Kinjal, had she left with Toshu..

-It’s not that, it happened all of a sudden that kinjal needs to prepare herself.. Toshu was talking about separation from long time..

-After getting slapped by Vanraj, obviously It’s difficult for Toshu to stay there and give time for Kinjal to prepare herself to move out.

-Sometimes we might be wrong, still we want our partner or parents or friend to be with us by understanding our state of mind.. Like..

“Correct me later but don’t leave me then even if am wrong”..

Kinjal should go with Paritosh and once he is settled, she should have had a talk with him affectionately in a fresh, peaceful environment.

-Never ever make a person feel all alone.. Paritosh is now left alone.. Everybody in that house have their flaws and done their part of wrong doings but nobody was left alone at that time.. there was someone to support them emotionally.

- Kinjal shouldn’t complain about Rakhi not being there for her, as she did the same with Paritosh now.. Family begins with your partner after marriage.

Her compromise was what? WE WILL LIVE IN TAMASHAH HOUSE DURING THE WEEK DAYS AND LIVE IN THE PENTHOUSE DURING THE WEEKEND. Like really? Then why think of moving out at all. And why are you people so against the idea of them moving out?

It's true Rakhi insults them bit it's not because they are less rich otherwise she would have gone around insulting every middle class person she sees, the reason she does so is because they deserve it in every way, they go around singing tunes about moral values, but their own morals are damn compromised to the core. Their family is literally a joke and laughing stock. It's not their because she considers them poor, it's because of their shamelessness and twisted idea of what is considered sanskari.

Maayke aur sasural mein patni pisti rehti hai, tashi toh she now has opportunity to get out of it.

Yes but she had objected to him accepting her job offer because according to her Rakhi was trying to manipulate him and break off their marriage. Even if that is true to an extent this just shows how she views her own mother.

Living in a nuclear family ka yeh matlab nahin that you break off all your ties with your family members and in laws, having a nuclear family ka matlab yeh hai that you are in a better position to concentrate on your own family as in your married life and kids without having to bother about the rules of your extended families. I grew up in a nuclear family but have also experienced living in a joint family temporarily, so I know how it is to be in both, and I frankly understand where Paritosh comes from here.

I agree.. Kinjal is definitely a bad wife..

When Kinjal is allowed to dislike her family, Why not Toshu?

When Kinjal can elope with Toshu without thinking about her parents, why not Toshu start a life on his own?

Why didn’t Bapu ji slapped Vanraj or Baa when they kept insulting Anupama in front of her children. Had he slapped then, Toshu or Pakhi would have respected Anupama as much as Vanraj.
Vanraj has no right to slap Toshu no matter how much rude he was.. cos he said the same words what he kept on hearing from childhood.

- Some people here say, Vanraj is better than toshu atleast he never insulted his parents.
Like.. Seriously? Being rude to your parents is more sinful than cheating on your wife?

- Only and Only the family is responsible for Toshu or Pakhi’s behaviour towards them.

I blame Vanraj, Anupama, Baapu ji and Baa for such upbringing.
- If you make your kid listen to a Mass song everyday and expect him to sing Bhajan Infront of others.. It’s your fault.. Your kid sings what he kept listening to all the day..

Agree that Vanraj did a huge mistake of cheating his wife...but it's also true that he never spoke to baa in the way Toshu spoke to his mother...the point here is not about wife...but of mother and the family...

And if Vanraj did not have the right to confront Toshu,then he also didn't have the right to reprimand Pakhi or badly scold Samar on the Mahashivratri pooja...

For Toshu, why is it that Vanraj scolding Samar was right back then,but Vanraj scolding him for his mistake not ok?

Just because he was insulting his mother,but Samar was insulting his father?
