Where is anupama's self respect?

They have made it clear that Factory land is bapuji's/leela's property .

Why anupama is using her EX- father in law's long time closed property for her own business??

Dance academy is anupama's and samar's business idea/plan then they should prepare for place also by themselves. Apply for loan, have some rented place and start dance academy in the rented place.

Dance academy anupama ko uske khud ke paiso se kamai zameen par banana chahiye tha. Bapuji ne free mai use karne ke liye diya or anupama ne free mai bapuji ka land use karne ke liye ha bol diya?Where is anupama's self respect?

There is no difference in between anupama/samar and toshu. Anupama/samar are using the ground settle by ex-father in law to start business and toshu is using ground of his current mother in law.

Anupama has always given lectures on self respect since the divorce day but when time came to prove self respect, she and samar choose short cut to start business and used leela/hasmukh's property in place of doing hard work, establishing own place, taking loans,paying rent loans.

It is crystal clear anupama's business base is leela/hasmukh's lakho ki land and no hard work of anupama/samar for building their own dance academy from the scratch .

Where is true struggle here?? Main price land and rented place ka he hota hai woh to anupama free mai le rahi hai. Now they have only struggle is for marketing and renovation cost. Wow what a short cut anupama and samar took!!

Now anupama has no right to talk about self respect since she herself is establishing her business on leela/hasmukh's ready made lakho ki property.

Lol anupama/samar establishing themselves on the ground of leela/hasmukh and toshu is establishing himself on the ground of rakhi .All are on equal grounds when it comes to self respect . Only difference is anupama is using EX-father in law's ground to establish her business and Toshu is using her CURRENT mother in law's ground to establish himself.

Must say rakhi and leela/hasmukh both are very good and equal level givers in this dysfunctional family👏

I would disagree here. Anupamaa has always considered Baa & Bapuji as her parents rather than her in laws. One can accept a kick start from parents without self respect coming in between.

Anupamaa would still be paying the property taxes, electricity bills, maintenance, water bills, etc. The money she would earn - at least 20% of it would go back to the family itself as decided by Bapuji. Knowing the simple life Anu leads, after paying off her medical bills, she would mostly pool in a lot for Samar's marriage, Pakhi higher studies and Baa & Bapuji's old age expenses.

In families, it's common if we own something but don't need / use it, and some other family member does, we give it to that family member to use. That doesn't mean that the self respect or pride of that person has been injured.

@bold : I am so agree with the bold and i personally believe in the same .i made this post for society's hypocrisy and gender discriminations.

The issue is society ! The way anupama has bonded with leela hasmukh, it is also possible toshu has bonded with rakhi. If anupama can accept a kick start from in law parents then why not toshu?

Women can accept kick start from in law family then why not men? Why this discrimination for men and women?

Same society who appreciates anupama's decision of using leela/hasmukh's property ground to kick start business will never accept toshu's decision of using rakhi's property ground Why??? just because rakhi is girl mom??

Our society believes women can accept kick start from men's family but men can't do the same if his wife is only child. I am against this social structure full of gender discrimination.

Anupama and toshu both are doing same thing, setting base on extended family's ground still society will only bash men for the self respect ground.

I would agree for Toshu accepting work in Rakhi's place but not the pent house. Toshu already has a residence and he wants a better one. Anupamaa doesn't have any dance classes. Earlier, she was taking online so her house would be okay. With students coming, she needs a place and accepted Bapuji's spare one.

All renovation is being done by her. Samar and Nandini too but since Samar said to include himself in Bapuji's 20% contribution list, Anupamaa will be paying Samar and Nandini salaries. The penthouse on the other hand was made ready especially for Kinjal and Toshu, meaning the renovations were funded by Rakhi Dave.

Toshu already got the kickstart of easy job opportunity by Rakhi D., which is fine since she is his family too. It seems he wants everything the easy way now. I don't think Rakhi D. would be taking rent from her son in law but Anu would have to compulsorily contribute from her earnings to Bapuji.

Toshu feels comfortable only in the financial earning aspect and is recultant to help out Anu or Kinjal or even Baa in household work. He himself fits into the gender stereotype because he wants to. If he only wants to shoulder financial responsibilities and nothing else, then he should earn his way to a penthouse. Anu and even Kinjal for that matter break the stereotype by shouldering all responsibilities necessary to lead a good life.

Samar is also getting a kickstart to his dance career by working in his mother's academy and it's good that they are showing that because like you pointed out men should also get respect even if they take financial help from their mothers rather than their fathers.

Edit: Realised something else. Toshu was a fresher out of college when he could the high post from Rakhi D. only because he was her relative and not on merit. He was a risk and had he made any losses, Rakhi would have to bear it. Anu on the other hand would have to still manage the property expenses, whether she earned enough or not. Also, Bapuji gave his factory to someone experienced in her field since she was already taking online dance classes. Bapuji isn't taking as much risk as Rakhi, though he isnt considering it thay eay. That's why, Toshu seems less self respecting than Anu. He always takes the easy way for his dreams (big post without experience, big house in posh locality without enough work), whereas Anu works most of her way up (online classes before offline, school teacher job money to help out).

Our society structure and gender discriminations are terrible when it comes to men ,women and in laws.

I hope one day we young generation will eliminate these all injustice and gender discriminations which we see around us on daily basis.

I have complete faith in kinjal and i am waiting for kinjal's outburst and kinjal's view point for penthouse thing. I am damn sure they will never going to shift in any penthouse so it's just matter of time and nothing else.

Kinjal knows very well how to put others on their place from kavya to toshu to baa to her own mother rakhi.

Bapuji's role is limited to giving his lakh's of rupees land to anupama for use, uske par dance academy business hit bhi ja sakta hai flop bhi ja sakta hai, anupama is good dancer but she is also fresher like toshu when it comes to doing marketing of the business, establishing business and and using bapuji's property correctly .Anupama has experience of dance but when it comes to academy business she is also fresher just like toshu. Good dancer hone ke experience mai and Good business woman banne mai fark hai and it is just beginning for anupama as a fresher inthe business world just like toshu.

I strongly believe samar can take anupama's help to kick start career, anupama can take leela/hasmukh's help to kick start her business and paritosh can take rakhi's help to kick start.

There is no place of gender discrimination just because rakhi is girl mom and men/women discrimination when it comes to using relatives property.

Exactly kookiji! On which grounds Samar was showing attitude?! Feelings for his mother is different matter but he should not forget that land is Leela’s property so if mother-son can use it, others can also use it and dance academy’s base is Leela/hasmukh’s land worth of lakhs rupees so Samar is nobody to show any attitude for vanraj ‘s cafe on the land. Samar is acting like he is allowing vanraj’s cafe on his own land 🤢
