Did Anupama really needed to apologize?

I have to go off and on for this show for a long time now. I had stopped watching when the story headed towards something else instead of the divorce. It was mostly because of COVID and all. But now since the last few episodes, the show has been on track. Anupama taking a stand and citing that she has to take this divorce as she will never be able to forget the lies and the deceit was like a clapping moment for me. I had completely believed that they would show Kavya pregnant or suicidal or something - wait they did show her suicidal didn't they?? Being a Devi Anupama will gladly push Vanraj towards her. But thanks to small mercies.

This return of track however also brought back the actual baa and Vanraj Shah in their real avatars. The whole showdown that happened between Anupama, Samar, Nandini and the family was a treat to watch. But the one thing I didn't like Anupama apologizing when she was told that who was she to interfere in their familial matters. She has no relations and this is not her family anymore. While I expected a stern reply, all I got was an apology. What Anupama words should have been was

" Yeh aapke ghar ka mamla nahin hain, Yeh mere bete ki zindagi uski khushiyoon ka mamla hain. And then the correct question should have been

But all we got was Anupama crying and begging them to take a proper decision. Why??? She has no reason to do that she has every right to say everything she did. But these are makers and their thought process for Anupama fluctuates more frequently than our apartment generator. Once she gets hyper and then takes a decision and then after some days she does something else. Not just Anupama - Until this day Baa and Vanraj were good and trying to apologize and Anupama was Baa's daughter now she is an outsider. Vanraj - fine he was always like this, we never expected anything more. Baa I had expected something from her but not this line.

But hey this is ITV anything can happen.

Anupama ne bhale hi sorry na bola hoon ya sorry word na use kiya hoon but jo uska reaction tha on that particular line ki - "ab yeh parivaar tumhara nahin hain, ab tum is parivaar ka hissa nahin hoon" uspe uska jo reaction tha woh th yahin depict kiya na ki she thinks ki ab use Samar ki apne bete ki shaadi ke bare main faisla lene ka koi haq nahin hain kyunki woh ab is parivaar ka hissa nahi hain. Divorce husband wife ka hota hain but not a mother and her children. Anupama had every right to take and support her son in his decision. Vanraj aur Baa kaun hote hain use yeh bolnewale.

She should have made her stand clear ki ghar mera nahin hain par bache ab bhi mere hain and I will be involved in their decision.
