Its an EMA for god's sake!

For some reason, the current few episodes post the revelation to the entire family have the vibe of Vanraj leaving the house to go and live abroad or something. While Samar, Bapuji and Anu to some extent seem to have accepted it as an EMA and are treating Vanraj accordingly, Paakhi, Baa and the others are normalising it by allowing Vanraj to come in and out as he pleases. Have no doubts even Paritosh would have been indifferent if it would not have affected his engagement with Kinjal.

The kids are not kids anymore, the parents and siblings are aware of the situation and yet partying as if nothing has happened to their household life & financial stability. Its great Anu gets to be happy along with her new daughters Kinjal and Nandini, but its upsetting to see her daughter being such a *bleh* to all her hard efforts. Hope they address this in the track ahead, coz the seriousness of this entire EMA seems to be kind of underplayed and focused more on Kavya being the villian rather than Vanraj also, in the current time. Also feel like Anu's maternal family needs to know the reality now since she needs some moral support at this time from her own true loved ones too.

Exactly! No one is now caring about huge 'insult' and 'shame' Vanraj brought to family!

I hope Rakhi actually makes the cctv footage viral and Vanraj and Kavya get fired for unethical workplace behaviour.

Let's see where Vanraj's attitude goes then.

It can be okay in a place like Mumbai but not in Vadodara. 👍🏼

She allows people to hurt her and I feel no sympathy for person who does not stand for themselves... She is giving all opportunity to Vanraj to take her for granted.. he is left free to enjoy with his girlfriend and she is taking care of his while family in name of mera ghar.. on top he comes and give them good taunt and she quietly listens... I don't know what actually they want to show... I never saw her taking strong stand for her own mother

I can never promote a weak person like her... I will wait and see if story takes some correct turns soon or not..

Kavya has been pretty straight forward with Vanraj and has shown more remorse and so on the he has ever shown but even now Kavya isnt total vamp cos she does know Vanraj and his kids are important and so on which has been highlighted over the episodes but Kavya is under the influence that Vanraj is so innocent that Anupamaa is playing some game... the things that Kavya accused Anupamaa today on the phone is exactly what Vanraj is doing... He is using his own kids to get one over Anupamaa etc...

Kavya also thinks Vanraj left on his own accord to come to her, took the house, and now asking for money by using the kids.... it's not just about being vamp but the assumption she is under and reacting.

I agree the EMA seriousness of it being underplayed and the fact that Baa and Pakhi think Vanraj is poor bechara is annoying. He is still with his mistress, nothing has changed... he gets to be with her and also come home and Baa acts like this...

I cannot exactly get what they want to show! I thought once the secret is out, Anupama will behave as a strong woman and pursue her dance but this went into some other direction.

There was some conversation between Baa and Vanraj once that it’s them who didn’t let Anupama study and upgrade to match with Vanraj. Then suddenly Baa doesn’t care! Kids’ behaviour is so odd especially Toshu and Pakhi. Samar has been consistent thankfully.

And I don’t understand how can Vanraj enjoy so much and still be employed! He can go wherever he wants! Is he the owner of the company?

The phase of Anupama getting to be self sufficient is lost somewhere with of course unnecessary drama (because of TRPs 🙄)

Baa - at this point, it looks like if Vanraj committed murder and was to serve jail time. She would still sympathize with him forgetting the crime. Why everyone in the house is forgetting, the day they married Anu in the house - they had a moral responsibility for her. They never stopped counting and pointing what Anu is supposed to do. But what about their own responsibility as elders of the house(Bapuji is an exception).

There are many questionable things going on with the Pakhi track. They portray Anu as a perfect parent, but a perfect parent doesn't just pamper kids blindly. You need to tell them off when they do something right and wrong. Haven't Anu learned anything from Baa and Vanraj - what that kind of parenting could do.

How come none of Pakhi's friends asked why Kavya had organised the party along with her dad? They seemed pretty chill and materialistic about the gifts to not even be interested to go to her house or ask her why her mother was not there. That questioning would have served VanYa right!

Toshu was concerned about his grandparents and Kinju not getting to eat the cake but no mention of Anu in that speech. Mamaji and others also seemed pretty okay with him keeping Pakhi away coz father-daughter bond should not break, when in fact the Kaka/Toshu/Samar..basically anyone could have asked Pakhi on the first phone call itself where she is or looked at her social media handles (apparently she was uploading from the party) and just brought her back home. She would have thrown a fit, but she needs to understand things are not the same anymore and she needs to stop gallivanting around and splurging money in the name of shopping now.

I'm okay with her being sensitive but she should be defining her boundaries now. The fact that she was willing to serve him food and/or be so indifferent to him about how he is blackmailing her children is beyond me. As a mother, she should have intervened and told Pakhi in front of Vanraj that things have changed and she has to accept reality rather than just being upset and opening up to Samar in that corner. He is literally emotionally manipulating them with money while she is given monologues of being helpless and hoping that her family does not break apart...what?!
