Is it really Vanraj and Kavya Fault

That anupama does not ever doubt her husband.

She listens to all the taunts and tries to be a perfect daughter in law. But never has she tried to under stand what her husband thinks of her and he's able to have an affair right under her nose. To the extent of getting his gf home.. seriously which wife will see all this and still believe her husband is a devta.

Yes, definitely Vanraj and Kavya are at fault. Anupama is the victim here and I cannot blame her just because she is naive and trusting.

If Vanraj wants a different kind of wife -

1. He should lay down his expectations - he wants Anupama to converse in English, then he should enable that, give her time to take classes and learn and improve. He on the other hand yelled at her for even stepping out with her friends once in 25 years.

2. If Vanraj has expectations of Anupama, he should be willing and ready to listen to her expectations for/from him as well - be a kind, caring husband who can be appreciative at least once in a while and not treat her like a chattel.

3. If Vanraj has fallen out of love or has never loved Anupama and wants out from this arrangement/marriage - he needs to be honest about it, break ties with her, get a divorce and then pursue Kavya.

Nothing gives Vanraj the right to have his cake and eat it too - treat Anupama like his personal slave and the family’s servant, encourage the kids to put her down, talk belittlingly to her all the time, be harsh and contemptuous of her, and cheat and be deceitful and two time her with Kavya. He is a slimy cheat and he has no excuse to have this extra marital affair.

As for Kavya, she is an opportunist, she used Vanraj for her own selfish reasons, personal, emotional, career wise, and wormed her way into the Shah home, belittled Anupama’s position with both Toshu and Pakhi and now is acting irrationally unhinged from snatching Anupama’s sari to wiping Vanraj’s name off Anupama’s palm to pussyfooting right under Anupama’s nose flirting and carrying on with a married man.

Vanraj and Kavya are both to be blamed and shamed, Vanraj more so because he is the husband and has vows he has made to Anupama. Kavya is to be blamed for cheating on Anirudh even if he knows about it and for deceiving Anupama.

The two are immoral selfish people who care only about their own obsession and satisfaction over everyone else’s happiness. Disgusting characters, both.

Vanraj is at fault when he mocks her or blames her just like his mother does. He even blames her when she has every right to be upset about something and makes her out to be like she is wrong to be upset - thats mentally being abuse in a way.

But when Kavya gets upset, he is like puppy dog near her

Anupamaa has such faith on Vanraj, the woman says her faith on him is same as she has on Lord Krishna even above that, so to shake that - was always going to be hard hence why she hasnt even let a doubt settle in her that Vanraj could do that, not just that flaunt and bring Kavya to the house at times.

Which is why when the reality sets in and realisation comes, thats gonna break her and shatter her... but hopefully also rise up

Kavya got that feeling for once. But this idiot Vanraj doesn't have some sense of guilt. Hope he gets cheated and hurted very badly. So badly that he regrets his whole life

If we have to drill deep down, its fault of many, in this order,

Anupamaa's family who married her after her father's death and asked her to adjust as much as she could.

Vanraj's grandmother who promised to continue Anupamaa's education but broke it.

Vanraj's parents, especially Leela, who taught him that housewives are nothing more than cooks or babysitters without pay.

And then most importantly Anupamaa who didn't speak against all those injustices.

Ofcourse Vanraj and Kayva, are at fault for cheating, but the reason Vanraj has not been scared of starting this affair at the very first place is because of the fault of all those above.

If you let someone take you for granted, they almost always will!!!

V and K haven’t cheated her for their love, it’s more for their selfishness, and egos.

Also, we can’t blame A in this situation because she IS innocent and naive. She looks at things with a positive perspective and that’s why doesn’t see how V and K have wronged her terribly.

The offenders are at fault for doing the wrong and the victim is not, for just not seeing it.

Well... vanraj is the main culprit here.... I would say more than a kavya.. yes kavya is at fault too but I would blame vanraj for that too.... he had allowed her or would say given her rights to come to his house and took part in all the important discussions and celebrations

He had opened his house doors for her

What kavya was doing is wrong and there’s no justification for that but vanraj’s at More fault than kavya

For anupama... yes she’s naive and uneducated but what about her feelings

I understand she blindly trust her husband but I feel you would feel insecure or jealous at least little bit when your husband gets closer to someone else

Those feelings don’t have to do anything with her education... there’s something called woman’s instinct... no matter how much you love your husband and trust him but in 25 years of marriage I think you would think or suspicious at least once that your husband might have an extra marital affair

But that doesn’t make anupama at fault and vanraj is worse humanbeing... kavya should think he can cheat on her too... basically he wants a servant for house and a trophy for himself

Anupama didn’t develop a backbone where she could stand up to her hubby and in laws, fight for her education and carve her own identity

Instead she went ahead and allowed her to be melted away ...identity only as a wife mother and DIL ...a subhuman based on her in-laws and children’s views

Ive already expressed that VanYa are low class hoes but Anu does have a small amount of blame because she didn’t speak up..

It's not really the cheating that has been the worst for Anupamaa. Do we feel as much sorry for Aniruddh? He was cheated upon too right??

But Kavya was open about it from the beginning, by justifying it with his ignorance in the relationship and promptly asking for divorce. Even he admits many times it is his mistake and he wants to fix things back!! Vanraj continued the affair with no plans of quitting his marriage.

But what if Vanraj never met Kavya and maybe had a male or an unattractive female colleague instead. What if he didn't have any affair but continued to treat Anupamaa like a glorified maid??

The cheating will break the donkey's back, but was the treatment to Anupamaa justified without it?

We could have still made peace with that, had Vanraj been a sorry character who sincerely loves Kavya but also treats Anupamaa well and cares about her feelings and sometimes feels guilty too. People sometimes get weak, it's only human. Kavya is his love, Anupamaa is his responsibility, we could have understood!!

I just spoke of what personally makes me abhor K and V right now, amongst other things.
