E ntering its 11th round this weekend, Antakshari –The Great Challenge (Star One) kicked off with the theme Hasna Zaroori Hai. Host Annu Kapoor had opened Friday's episode singing Saj gayi gali with five transvestites. It had Sudesh Bhonsle as the special celebrity guest. Yesterday the stand-up comedi- an, Ehsaan Qureshi, enthralled the viewers with his trademark style. Says he, "It was a great feeling to share the platform with Annu Kapoor. He is the pehchan (identity) of Antakshri. Despite being the host of the show, he gave me a chance to speak at length. That is something not many anchors al- low." Qureshi composed some im- promptu verses on the participat- ing couples. On his comic style, Qureshi says, "It's not easy to make people laugh. I believe in tackling social issues in a jovial manner and make the viewers think about them.

Post me on the Billboards: Juhi Parmar and Anu Kapoor bask in fame. The two hit gold with the show; Anu couldn't have a better come-back and Juhi for a change can be something else but a bhenji.

Meri Aawaz Suno: Anu Kapoor is a walking-talking encyclopaedia of music, he 'knows' songs: whether they featured in a particular film or an album, the music director, the playback singers and even the year of release. He undoubtedly has a phenomenal voice and a rare talent for reality T.V. This a classic moment celebrated in the true Antakshari spirit!
