Spoiler: CR sar introduces new female character - question is, why? 🥱

Recap of Kanakku & wife talking at courthouse and Inspector Babu ottu kaettufying. After Kanakku is taken away by the policemen, Babu comes over to ACD in his van and reports that Kanakku did not reveal any info on ACD. He adds that it does appear that Kanakku is owning up to crime on behalf of ACD. ACD instructs him to keep following Kanakku's wife, and then he leaves. (So, Roja akka, onga far fetched idea of Babu being ACD's aalu was proven wrong.)

Young lady is giving an indoor presentation on J&K Toursim to about 10 folks, while RK's advertising nephew(?), the former partner of ACD's now-dead-cousin, is taking photos of her. (I didn't hear all of her self intro, but here's some of it..) She says, "Vanakkam, I'm Manisha. I was born, grew up in Srinagar..." (all in Tamil - athu aeppadi?! Seri, summa irukkaen.) There are some many temples .. there are pine trees ... (Idhu ellam edhukkunnu puriyalai.)

SKPD & Abhi visit Kanakku at the jail. Usual talk.. SKPD saying I thought you deserted me when I was in trouble, but you are my true vishvasee. Kanakku saying "Naan kadamai patturikkiraen". Abhi adding that since Kanakku said he killed OKS in self-defence, the lawyer said he could easily release him. Abhi then cautioning them on revealing too many details in the jail. Kanakku feeling SKPD would be alone now and SKPD then revealing that Abhi was his real daughter.

Mettupalayam forest. Vedi Murugan is preparing a blanket to lie on when another man comes walking. VM asks him if he had heard from SKPD and the answer is no. VM polambufies that SKPD is not answering his phone calls and that he will let SKPD know who he is. As VM is relaxing a pair of police boots are shown walking and VM immediatley gets up and starts running away. Useless scene of VM running and just the bottom of kakhi pants and police boots are shown for 1-2 mins. VM finally reaches a small shed and rests against a door. The police boots appear and silently walk towards VM. A gun is pointed at VM's head and its the Mettupalayam Inspector. He confirms that VM was the one who killed Jamuna's to-be as per SKPD's order. VM tells him SKPD was to pay him 5 lakhs but he hasn't paid him yet. Inspector then asks VM where is his cut - and VM is then relieved. VM says, I though you had become a good policeman. VM repeats his lament about SKPD having cheated him and not answering his phone calls. Inspector then tells VM that he will find SKPD for him, but asks for more money to which VM agrees.

White car drives by SKPD talking to another man on a side road. Car stops and reverses. ACD calls out "SKPD". SKPD comes over. ACD gets down and they start talking. ACD says I stopped to tell you that you will soon be caught for OKS' murder. More aah ooh talk - Naan onna pidichuduvaen - Neen enna onnum panna mudiyaadhu - and SKPD leaves.

Kids playing in orphanage. Call taxi van pulls up and Anitha walks up with bag full of goodies which she distributes to all the kids. She finds Rakki and is talking to him and other boys when an office man walks up and says that Trustee madam wants to talk to her. Trustee says "Anitha madam I have a good news for you. Whatever is remaining for the medical fund you are collecting is being given by someone else." Anitha is happy and asks for the address so she can thank them. She then asks if they gave a name and Trustee replies, "Shanthi"! Tadaam. Anitha is shocked. Freeze.

march 18th update:

1. Anitha is shocked at the orphanage head saying of how shanti had enquired very deeply about 'rocky', how she is interested in donating to the orphanage, etc. anitha goes away thinking.

Manisha (kashmir kumari ... 😉 ) is waiting on some poolside. Dinesh comes and gives her photos that he had taken yesterday during her speech. she is impressed, says greatly about his photography skills. he also vazhujufies.. 😳 he adds, there are many things that eyes of anybody tells - like a tiger, friendship, butterflies, spring, something like these (a lot of them, i couldnt' recount, sorry). he now says that Manisha's eyes are not like normal, it says a lot of sOgam in her eyes. she puts up a sad face and evades his eyes or any answers.

2. anitha comes home and finds shanti in the kitchen. she talks in a sarcastic tone about how things are different, etc. shanti understands and asks her to be straightforward. anitha gets angry and says that this house DIL's have been very efficient and cunning, including shanti, that she made karthik doubt her, has daddy in her pocket and so he trusts her fully in business. what is her doubt about her and 'rocky'. shanti just keeps quiet, madan who hears her, asks the matter, for which shanti mazhuppufies, just nothing, but madan says that he understands the difference between a simple chat and quarrel, he further adds that this house has seen a lot of problems and with mom passing away, people want more peace and goes away.
Pechi patti is serving food for SKPD and asks him to eat nicely and fully. she asks him to turn a new leaf in life and forget these goondaism and be a good father to abirami, as he had been a bad husband, you have to change your ways completely and do your business, go to kasi and take a bath and leave all evil ways, etc. in the meantime, abirami comes and asks, whether appa had seen ACD and threatened him, SKPD accepts and says he cannot change his ways, he is not going for 'vambu' on his own, only those that coming his ways, he will become normal only after he sinks the blood of ACD in kasi ... abirami is frustrated and asks patti if her son will ever become a good man, patti says, he doenst understand if we say, only punishment will make him understand ..!

3. Dinesh is taking Manisha in his car, he praises her saying that she seems like a tamil girl, none can say that she is kashmiri, to which she says, yes, she knows 10 languages, thats how she is. Dinesh is saying, but, he finds her like she is more connected to tamilnadu than anywhere else, if she wears a pattu saree everybody will think that she is a carnatic singer, how come ?!...she feels a bit uncomfortable and manages to say that she can sing in tamil - she sings the beautiful Bharatiyar song - sindu nadhiyin isai nilaviniley. Dinesh brings her to his house and introduces his son - a young boy and his wife (charcter swathi has been changed i guess..!) swathi invites her nicely and asks her to eat, she says we will eat later, but swathi says we have to eat when its hot. she agrees.
meantime, arjun confronts anitha alone and asks her why she is behaving badly with shanti as she is very concerned in the family, etc. anitha says, she cannot say anything to anybody now, shanti unnecessarily pokes her nose around and makes others in the family to doubt her, to which arjun says, whats wrong, why she is spending so much money without telling anybody, anitha again says, she will tell when the time comes, right now...no.
Manisha has had dinner and is looking at the photo album of dinesh family. he tells one by one about swathi's brother, sister, mom (in-law), dad (in-law), then atlast he comes to the photo and says that this is swathi's brother karthik who was in army in kashmir, she is taken aback and shocked, she sees karthik hoisting the flag in her mind, then sees karthik and shanti's photo and feels kind of dizzy ....FREEZE ON HER FACE.

my prediction is - there is something to do with karthik and this 'rocky' boy connection and this kashmir kumari... 😕 😕

Manisha is looking at Karthik & Omni's photo at Dinesh's house. She is reminded of ... Karthik in his Army battle fatigues and enaged in some fighting. Back to the present .. suddenly Manisha runs her hand over her left temple. Dinesh says we will go to their home next. (Oh no!) Manisha says, how about some other day? I have a slight headache. Dinesh's wife Swathi offers to fetch her some coffee so she can pop a pill, but Manisha declines. Manisha then requests Dinesh to drop her at the Tourist Home, where she is presumably staying. She bids Swathi & her mom good bye.

RK comes down the steps in his house and informs Madan that he is ready to leave (for B'lore). He then asks Madan if has informed everyone about amma's thithi. Omni is present too. Madan, amaam pa. He hands RK a list and says, tick panna ellaraiyum inform panniyaachu. 2 or 3 people left. RK is surprised, ennappa Abhi paerayae kaanum! Madan and Omni exchange looks. RK: Madan, Kaaryam ellaam ava veetulai thaan nadakkanum. Avala kuppidaama irukkalaama? Look, I have to leave for B'lore, else I would have called her myself. You have to invite her. If you have any trouble ask Karthik to invite her.
Omni interrupts. Here's the B'lore project report. The auditor said he would discuss this with you. RK: OK.

SKPD in his house talking to his henchmen. I have had a hellish experience and its all 'cos of ACD and I will not leave him alone. That OKS was becoming a torture and he's been taken care of. Abhi is walking in. Saar, Abhi is coming. OK, you guys go on inside. Vaamaa. Why are you silent? Abhi: Appa, Athai's thithi is approaching. Last year the circumstances were such that you didn't want to come. How about this year? SKPD: No problem. You are my daughter. We both will show all the respects needed. I have some important things for you and I'll start them there. Abhi: Thanks appa.

RK steps outside his house, on his way to B'lore. Madan and Omni say bye and RK's car leaves. Omni aska Madan if he is going to invite Abhi. No way says Madan. I didn't want to start an argument with appa as he was leaving and hence I was silent. Appa will only return the night before the thithi. If he asks I'll tell him I informed her. If he finds out the truth, we'll discuss it with him then. Omni says Abhi always remembers such matters. Even if we don't invite her, she will definitely show up. Madan says, let her come. Amma passed away on the 15th. Omni slyly smiles knowing what he was leading up to. Madan says, as per nakshathram this year the thithi is on the 14th. Let her come and be fooled.

Manisha is in her Tourist House room, lost in thought. Flashback of going over the photo album at Dinesh's house, particularly Karthik. She opens her suitcase and takes out a framed photo of Karthik (in casuals) & her! She rubs her fingers over the photo. Flashback. Manisha coming across Karthik injured with a cut above his right eye. Manisha shouts, "Bachaao. Bachaao koi hai" (Help, help. Is anyone there?) She then lifts up and supports Karthik by herself. Karthik is lying alone at an outhouse, still dazed and Manisha comes over and wakes him up. She then feeds him rotis. Karthik also eats by himself. Manisha smiles looking at him. Next scene. Manisha standing near a tree and near some bushes while reading a book and a pink rose falls on her book. She looks around and sees no one. Next a yellow rose falls on her book. Again, she can't spot anuone. Finally a red rose. She then spots Karthik in a brown sweater. He hands her more roses and they laugh & talk. Back to the present. Manisha's eyes are moist.

RK's house. Purohithar is conducting the thithi puja with RK seated and all others standing around. SKPD's van pulls up to the house and he & Abhi alight and walk in. Madan sees them first and is shocked. Omni too is surprised. Abhi watches them. Karthik angrily frowns next, as does Arjun. SKPD is folding his hands and smiling at Karthik and Arjun. Indhu smiles at Abhi. RK sees Abhi and nods. SKPD signs namaskaram to RK who nods at him too. (Spineless character.) SKPD then signals Abhi to opens a small box in her hand. She takes out a sari and hands it over to the purohithar. SKPD then looks at him and says I am the sambandhi and morai saiyya vandhurikkaen. Madan, Karthik, Arjun and Anitha are shown individually with flashes of red. Otherwise everyone is silent. RK & Purohithar get up as he steps out with a plate. RK says vanakkam to SKPD. SKPD then comments to Madan, Enna mapillai. You appear to have put on some weight since I saw you the last time.. don't you go for your morning walks? Next to Karthik, Enna chinna mapillai? Looks like you are on a long leave. What happened, are you afraid to pick up a gun? Abhi is all flustered and pleads with SKPD, Appa! SKPD continues and Arjun is next. Ennappa? When you were in jail I didn't know we were related or else I would have arranged for your care. Arjun frowns. Abhi again, appa! Freeze.

20th update:

am going to be a bit brief, sorry

1. Its starts with the same Rajeswari amma's ceremony.SKPD is telling high about his daughter Abirami, everyone - karthik, madan, shanti, etc. are putting up an angry long face. Shanti intervenes and stops SKPD's daughter prathabam. madan follows shanti and says that they are already divorced, why come and ruin his mom's death anniversary, he scold abirami for being nosy, SKPD is upset and says this not right 'mappilai' - a few times, madan stops him from calling him like that, both SKPD and abirami walk off. RK mama is upset and questions madan's attitude to guests, madan shouts and says that he cannot keep quiet like him and everyone disperse, RK is saddened.

2. There is an unnecessary show of Seenu and his 'jalra' Vishnu in the former's house. Seenu says you are a jalra when my time is good othertimes he escapes.... something like that. it was neither funny nor anything related to the already crappy show. there is one adiyal of SKPD who comes to seenu's house to ask him to come and meet SKPD at his house immediately. Seenu is scared, Vishnu says that he has electric bill of his house to pay and runs off. Seenu polambufies and drives to SKPD's house.

3. SKPD is upset that his daughter has no respect in RK's house. he says, he will bring her and madan together like she is trying to get him and mom together. Abirami is stupified. she says both are not the same, madan is married and has a child also. he says he will settle the other girl and goes away. Pechi patti comes and pulambufies to abirami as to how to make SKPD understand relationships and things, he is being foolish, etc.
In RK's house, Anitha and Shanti take a suitcase each and tries to say bye and want to go away from the house. RK is saddened. he shouts, Anitha says she cannot tolerate being doubted by her own siblings and family. Shanti says, if her concern seems like casting doubt, then, there is no point in living in the house, both argue in front of RK. RK shouts at both of them that he wants to live together with all his family like Raji had always wanted, now everyone wants to go their own way after his wife is gone, he shouts at them to go inside....FREEZE.

On the side: Welcome Mr. Satish, i never knew there are tamil serial actors also in this forum. Very happy to note that you are taking time off from hectic shooting schedules (I know you are acting in many serials) to come and communicate with your fans. 👏 👏 👏

RK is shouting at Anitha and Omni - Anitha leaves
and Omni goes in with her luggage ( wish she had
grabbed the opportunity and walked out!!) RK goes
to Raji's photograph and laments - "Raji nee iruntha
ipdi ellam nadakkuma??" ( Raji iruntha ipdi Abi kooda
neenga cootchi coo panna mudiyumaa?😳) Arai kirukku
Srini has been summoned by SKPD - he comes to the
house and wishes every one he encounters - " Manne
marame namaskaaram, ennai onnum pannathe"😳 -
goes in to see SKPD who is pacing around near the
pool - Srini waits for him to turn back and puts on the
scared act. SKPD wants Srini to do some thing - muted
talk - Srini does boom boom maadu - finally says that he
has a few Fourth estate friends who are kisu kisu specialists -
" first chapter will be started soon, then we can bring down
the empire" - SKPD dispenses with Srini saying that the better
do some thing ,no talking. Srini goes back with renewed vigour
and makes it a point to chide the security and SKPD's black cats.

Anitha is sitting with an angry expression. Her MIL comes
there and starts the dialogues. "Omni would never have meant
any thing bad, why are u angry with her?' Anitha says that
Omni has been going behind her back and asking about all
her activities - " I just help an orphan who is sick and whats
wrong?" Arjun plays the jalra for Omni -"akka would never
question such things" - MIL is on to her reasoning - " Omni
has taken care of u like your own mom and why do u suddenly
find fault with her?? You should have stayed with your dad and
taken care of him" - Anitha is confused. Omni calls Rohini and
after the initial " me fine, you how?/s" warns about Abi circling
Madan maama and the appearance of her father. Rohini says
that getting a transfer is not possible right now but Omni puts
her foot down -"career lam, ok, inge your life is at stake, I do
not know how but move thyself here asap" hangs up on Rohini
who tries a feeble "Shanthi".....

Charu calls RK - informs that she will be back in a couple of
days. Charu praises Madan's business acumen and RK
gives all the credit to Charu for training him!!! ( So, pray
how did he manage your business??) RK plays guardian
angel and of course Abi enters ( Omni, Madan , baggage
and Anitha are not around.So she walks in like a..... entering
an open door😳😳) RK wants Charu to be more kind to Abi
but Charu quickly points out that Abi is a criminal and she
can never bring herself to like her. Mahathma says that Abi
may have made some mistakes but all of them are due to
the lack of having some one to guide her. Charu does not
want to say"shut up" to RK and so acts as if the signal is
lost and cuts off. Abi gets the message in spite of Mahathma's
feeble attempt to deny any such notion. Abi leaves.
Advocate comes to see Abi and Abi says that SKPD wants her
to go and live with him.The advocate is able to appreciate
her sentiments. Abi says that she is planning to transfer the
house and the company on to someone else. She wants the
advocate to prepare the docs - " I will tell u the beneficiary's
name later" - advocate wants toknow if she is selling or
donating. Abi says that she is gifting it. Sarasu over hears this
and expresses her fear about "adutha velai saapadu" Advocate
leaves and Abi takes a good look at the house and has that..
what else..smirk😳😳

March 24, 2007 Update

Lawyer tells Abirami he will contact the auditor and do the necessary paperwork. He thanks Abirami and takes leave.

Commissioner office, JC, Comm and AC in discussion. In front of them is a magazine "Neurppu" . The caption runs "Business man RK being shown partial treatment by the police department in terrorist Joe case". Beneath RK's photo is the photo of Jamuna arresting SKPD. Comm. is upset on seeing this, asks JC and ACD what they are going to do about dispelling the image this is going to create in the minds of the public. ACD says this could very well be the handiwork of SKPD himself. Comm. and JC agree, ACD suggests they could arrange for a meeting between the reporter who did this article and RK, that the reporter could ask and clarify whatever he needed from RK himself. Comm. And JC laud ACD for this idea and ask him to arrange for the meeting.

Reporter of the "Neruppu" magazine comes, RK also comes. ACD makes a brief speech. They thank RK for coming. Comm., ACD, JC, and Shankar are watching. Reporter asks RK why he had appointed Joe despite knowing he was a terrorist. RK explains he wanted a good person to run the show for his new software project. Joe had faked himself to be Samson, had fraudulently included his name in the list of candidates sent by the HR agency. RK further says, once he came to know Samson aka Joe was actually a terrorist he felt very bad, also says at that time there was a tragedy his life, he lost wife and at that time he could never have knowingly given refuge to a terrorist. He goes on to say that all profits he made through the project handled by Joe, he has transferred to orphanages, old age homes etc. RK produces the necessary documents, the reporter scans through it, is convinced and offers an apology. RK tells the reporter he needs to do the same in the magazine. The reporter agrees.

Karthik and Shanti are anxiously waiting for RK. Madhan wonders what, Karthik tells Madhan about RK going to comm. office to meet a reporter. Madhan feels this could be the handiwork of Abirami. Just as they are about to leave Nallan comes in saying he has come to tell them something important. Nallan tells the trio that Abirami is planning to transfer all her assets and factory to somebody's name, but who he does not know. Madhan is not pleased, Shanti quips Abirami only takes everything away how come she going to give it to somebody. Karthik and Madhan leave for the comm's office, Shanti and Nallan are staring at each other blankly.

Srini brings the magazine to SKPD, who is very happy on seeing it. SKPD vows to torture the RK family so much that they will fall on his feet pleading for forgiveness for having insulted his daughter. Srini as usual blows his trumpet. SKPD gives him a case full of money, tells Srini never to reveal this to Abirami. Srini leaves.

Charu's home. All arrangements are being made for her return. Priya is overlooking all arrangements. The house is dusted and cleaned etc. Finally Charu arrives with Madhan. Priya welcomes her back, maid gives her coffee. They talk about happenings in her absence and Abirami makes an entry. Charu is not happy seeing her. Says something about "Chennai ku vandha time is not good" Abirami says she has come for something important. She is holding some files in her hand. Charu feels Abirami should have taken an appointment. Abirami wants only two minutes of Charu's time. Charu stares. FREEZE

March 25, 2008 Update

Abirami wants only two minutes of Charu's time. They exchange some dialogues about "Urimai" and "Uriyadhu". Finally Abirami says she is transferring her property and assets to who it belongs. Charu corrects Abirami saying it was never hers. Abirami has transferred all that she took from RK back to RK himself. Madhan, Priya and Charu are looking shocked. Abirami says Charu has to hand over the documents over to RK and leaves the files on the center table and walks off.

SKPD is building a new house for his daughter. He tells the engineer that it has to be the best house in the whole state. An auto pulls up, the inspector from Mettupalayam comes to meet SKPD. Tells SKPD that "Vedi Murugan" is upset SKPD has not made payment yet, also tells SKPD he understands it is because of the strict policing. The Inspector promises to SKPD that he will explain things to Vedi M, that he will arrange for VM to talk to SKPD. Inspector takes leave. SKPD is happy.

Anitha comes to visit her sister Swati, chides her for not dropping by her place. Swati blames it on a busy schedule. Dinesh comes home and is arranging some photos into an album, when Anitha comes to say bye to him. Dinesh drops a photo which Antha picks up. Its Manisha's photograph. Anitha is shocked after seeing it. Dinesh tells her about Manisha, but Anitha is lost in thought and leaves.

Anitha arrives at the J&K Tourism Office to meet Manisha, finds out that her crew has left for Trivandrum for anther show. She is disappointed and leaves.

Madhan, Karthik and Shanti and discussing about Abirami's sudden change. They come to the conclusion that Abirami probably wants to redeem herself in front of Charu, which is why she has done this good deed. They are happy that Raji's last wish is finally going to come true.

Anitha goes to the orphanage where she is informed that a lady, a north Indian of Himachal Pradesh or Kashmir origin had come to visit the children and Rocky and distributed sweets and gone. She tells herself that Manisha must have come seen Rocky and left silently.

RK comes to Charu's house. He seems a little anxious. Charu tells him a miracle has happened. RK wonders what. She points to files Abirami has left and tells RK to go through them. RK reads them, is shocked. Finally he wonders why Abirami has done this. Declares to Charu he cannot accept it, he does not have the habit of taking back whatever he has given, that he gave Abirami all the property etc., wholeheartedly. RK leaves. Charu is wondering. FREEZE.

March 25, 2008 Update

The forests of Mettupalayam, Vedi Murugan is lying on the ground, his men are watchdogs. Suddenly some noise, all of them become alert and take position. One of his men has brought him food. The man who has joined the party is upset that SKPD has not paid them yet. Vedi M tries to explain to the new man that SKPD is having some problems as explained by the Mettupalayam inspector, that he will pay. But the man somehow makes Vedi M agree to blackmailing SKPD saying Vedi M is planning to surrender.

Abirami is at Charu's place. She asks Charu why the documents are lying where they are. Charu tells Abirami that RK has refused to accept any of the asset or property back. Abirami is surprised. They exchange some dialogs (Sorry, I'm not able to recollect most of it). Then Abirami declares that she is no longer going to stay in the house, not going to take care of any business, that it is no longer hers and leaves.

Rohini tries negotiating a transfer back to Chennai with one of her superiors. Superior says he will try on special grounds.

Charu calls up Madhan to tell him that Abirami has not taken back the documents, that she is going to vacate the house and will not be taking care of business. Charu feels Abirami has really changed. Madhan feels otherwise, tells Charu, she must have bigger plans/bigger things in mind, which is why she has done this. Charu wants Madhan to inform about Abirami's visit and decision to RK.

Abirami has packed her bags and is leaving for SKPD's house. All the servants in the house are emotional. She makes a settlement for the security guard. Nallan does not want to take anything from her, says if he dies she should not leave him, and should be there as a daughter to perform his last rites. Abirami agrees. Sarasu wants to go along with Abirami and she agrees. Finally Abirami bids farewell to the RK mansion.

Nallan on the way to his native comes to see RK. He tells RK that Abirami has left the house and gone to stay with her father. RK asks Nallan not to leave and to take over the kitchen in his household as Shanti is having a tough time managing home and office. Shanti and Nallan agree. Then they show a locked RK Mansion. FREEZE.

March 27, 2008 Update

RK visits Charu madam again. Charu madam informs RK that Madhan and RK's other family members are not pleased with his decision to not accept all the property Abirami has transferred to his name. RK uses this opportunity to preach Charu about Abirami's past. He says Jambu picked up Abirami up under circumstances where Jambu would not have any kids on his own. But once Jambu had kids of his own, he wanted to return Abirami to an orphanage. RK was against this. From then on, Jambu began hating RK and began poisoning Abirami's mind. RK says, now that Abirami is with SKPD he is worried if she will not reform herself and go to bad ways again. He requests Charu to accept Abirami. Charu is thinking.

Narayanan is driving RK around town, actually RK is going to meet a bank's chairman. But RK wants to go and see his old house first. He is upset on seeing the house locked. Lots of flashbacks about happenings in his house. He keeps staring at the house and finally leaves.

Abirami is lying on the bed leaning on Pecchi Patti's shoulder. Enters SKPD and scolds her for handing over her sotthu to RK and family. Abirami says it was never hers in the first place. SKPD says he will reunite her with Madhan and she has to live in "the house" with Madhan. Abirami tries to argue, but SKPD gives no room for that. He also cautions her not to visit her mother. Vows he will not spare anybody who insults his daughter. PP tries to console a sad looking Abirami.

RK finally goes to the bank chairman's house. He needs a favor from the Chairman about Rohini's transfer. RK explains the situation. The Chairman says he will do what he can. (Both yesterday and today it was mentioned that Rohini went to Hyderabad 6 months ago, my recollection was she went even before Raji died. Well Raji's death anniversary has come and gone, but Rohini went to Hyderabad only 6 months ago!!!!!!! Seriously the Anandham crew is taking us for a jolly ride)

Abirami is at the temple. Just as she is leaving Charu comes in, but does not even acknowledge Abirami. Abirami follows Charu back into the temple, stands behind her mother while she offers prayers, then follows her out. Suddenly Charu stops, turns back and signals for Abirami to come near her and says before knowing who her daughter is she has yearned for her daughter to call her "amma". Charu says, even after learning Abirami is her daughter she has longed to hear the words "Amma". Abirami blurts out an apology asking for Charu to forgive her past mistakes. Charu's turns to face Abirami, looking very serious. FREEZE

March 28, 2008 Update

Abirami looks hopefully at Charu, but Charu dashes all hopes of an immediate reunion for Abirami. Charu says she will never accept Abirami as long as she is SKPDs daughter. The day Abirami comes clean and exposes all of SKPDs dark secrets to the police, that will be when Charu will proclaim to the whole world that Abirami is Charu's daughter and accept her whole heartedly. Saying so, Charu walks off leaving a shocked Abirami.

Kannaku's wife is talking about the tough time she is having alone with the kid now that Kannaku is in prison. Insp. Jamuna comes, Kanakku's wife tries to hide, but comes out. Jamuna wants to know what happened to all the gold that SKPD gave them. K's wife maintains she knows nothing. Jamnua asks K's wife to reveal all that she knows before it is too late. Jamuna also tells K's wife to rethink and that she will be back later.

Anita goes to Swati's house to meet Dinesh. She wants Manisha's phone number from Dinesh, who does not have it then, but promises to give it to Anitha once he goes to Trivandrum the next week. Dinesh wants to know why Anitha wants Manisha's number, Anita says its for a donation for the orphanage. Dinesh promises to message Anitha the phone number and leaves.

Jamuna meets ACD in his cabin. ACD wants to know if Jamuna is following up Vedi M's activities in Mettupalayam. Jamuna says she is regularly in touch with the informers, that nobody has been able to concretely identify Vedi M's movements. ACD also wants to know if Jamuna is in touch with Charu. Jamuna says she has not been in touch of late. ACD lectures Jamuna about some interpersonal skills that she has to acquire/maintain now that she is an inspector. He explains being friendly to Charu will enable them to find out more information about SKPD criminal past, which a regular interrogation might not reveal. Jamuna expresses understanding.

Madhan and RK at breakfast table, Nallan is serving them food. RK is lost in thought, Madhan wants to know what's bothering RK. RK says he saw their old house locked and feels bad because of that. Madhan says RK did wrong by giving the house to Abirami in the first place and more wrong by not accepting it back. RK feels Madhan is not magnanimous enough. Madhan feels Abirami has not changed and she is going to give them a shock real soon. Nallan looks on uncomfortably.

Abirami goes back home from the temple, a dejected look on her face. Pecchi Patti wonders why Abirami is so upset. Abirami narrates to Patti what Charu had told her. Patti asks Abirami what she is going to do, whether she is going to be person responsible for handcuffing her son. Abirami says she will never do that. SKPD is overhearing all this from up, comes down ordering Abirami never to see Charu again, that Charu is his first enemy and he will destroy her. Abirami looks very upset. FREEZE
