August 16, 2007 Update

As Abirami is talking over the phone, Charu sees her, stops for a sec. Abirami hangs up and sees Charu. Charu asks Abirami how she is and Abirami says she is fine. Charu leaves. As Charu is leaving Kannaku who is waiting outside with his security spots and informs SKPD who asks them to be very careful.

JC is thanking detective KK for all that he has done. KK says all he did was just relay the info to Charu and SKPD, it was all ACDs plan. But JC still thanks him for his services. KK says he understands Jamuna (KNK alias Chinna pecchi) was sent to infiltrate into SKPDs gang and provide them evidence and info to nail SKPD, but he wants to know why he had to like to Charu. (For a few seconds I thought CR has decided to completely black out ACD). Now namma hero ACD pops in wearing a red/maroon full hand shirt and a crme pant, says it was imperative to lie to Charu, because nailing SKPD is more important. At that time the cop acting as Jamuna's dad (name is Indran) comes and ACD, JC thank him for acting as a road layer, ACD requests that he continue his act laying road, ACD and JC tell Indran he need not worry about his retirement, that after his retirement he can work for KK. Indran requests JC and ACD to take care of Jamuna, says he has developed a bonding with her even though he only acted as her dad for a few days.

Kandhus men go to collect dues from a cook, who says he has bagged a big order and once the order is delivered he will get the money and give it to him. The order is Annadhaman for SKPD. Kandhus men follow the man and watch happenings in hiding. Pecchi patti is very happy that her granddaughter has come back, Abirami comes with KNK and SKPD is admiring his daughter's transformation. They start the annadhamam, and Jamunas dad is standing in the Q, Jamuna is not happy seeing him, but proceeds with Annadhanam. Charu comes there, she is about to leave after praying, but pecchi patti stops Charu asks her to come and take food from her daughter, Charu wants to take food from KNK, but KNK leaves the place. Abirami feels very sorry for Charu and offers her the plate (mother daughter sentiment!!), Charu walks away. SKPD comes to Charu as she is leaving, there is a smug look on his face, says Chinna Pecchi is his daughter, that she will never come back to Charu. Charu looks. FREEZE.

August 17, Very Brief Update

A non-anandham episode

Charu ooree soogam, thinking of all that SKPD told her about their daughter. She comes home and refuses to have lunch.

Abirami is undergoing mixed emotions about ChinnaPecchi and SKPD. She polamifies to Sarasu about how lonely she feels and all that.

Kandhu's man, Sivakomaru tells him about SKPDs daughter. Kandhu is very happy, feels now SKPD will not support Abirami now that his daughter has come back.

Sivaraman (SR) gets a call from someone informing him about SKPDs daughter. As he talking SKPD comes with sweets, tells SR about his daughter, SR acts as if he is happy. After SKPD leaves, he calls the guy who had called him earlier and tells him its bad news that his enemys (Charu) daughter has been found, that he will do something and kill ChinnaPecchi. FREEZE.

August 20, 2007 Update

RK is playing ball with Indhu Kutti Satan (KS). The ball falls near the gate, he tells her not to venture out. Meanwhile Madhan comes and tells his dad about Abirami and SKPD, that Abirami is all alone again. RK as usual advice to Madhan, tells him to talk about people he likes and not about Abirami. KS asks RK why Madhan periappa is talking ill of Abirami, RK Abiramiku support. (What's wrong with this old man) 😡😡

At home KS is sitting in the swing with a book and thinking about all the nice things Abirami did to her and told her. Priya sees her and asks about it, she says nothing.

Murugesh's (SKPD's ex-man) wife and some men come to the police station asking if anything has been done to trace her missing husband. The constable calls up SKPD and informs him, SKPD tells the constable to say something to them and send them off. Then the inspector comes and tells Murugesh's wife to get a photograph of his, tells the crowd that he would have gone absconding because he was afraid of something.

Charu comes to Shanti's house. Priya is in the kitchen. Charu wants Priya to come back to office. Priya refuses, says she was arrested in the office that she does not want to go back and stuff like that. Charu gets angry and is about to leave, but Shanti forces Priya to go to office with Charu.

SKPD calls up Abirami and asks her why she has not come home for a week. Abirami tells him, she is upset and thinking about her parents as to who they are. As she is talking Indhu KS comes in school uniform, tells Abirami, she escaped through the back gate during games class, took an auto and came to see her. Abirami tells KS not to do stuff like this, and drops KS back in school, she sneaks in through the side gate. As Abirami opens the car door, she hits a blind guy. She apologizes, the blind guy says, its only people who have eyes like you that go hitting people, we never hit anybody. Abirami leaves. The blind guy folds his stick and removes his shades. JOE is thinking. FREEZE.

August 21, 2007 Update

The bell rings at Shantis house. Its Priya who has come back from work. She is angry with Shanti for sending her to work with Charu inspite of Priya telling her that she does not want to work there anymore. Priya says its because I'm staying in your house and eating what you give me, that you have forced me to go with Charu. Shanti is upset, says from afar she can sense what kind of a person Charu is that she is warm, sensitive, and caring, but Priya being so to Charu cannot sense it. Furthermore she says Charu could have hired anybody in Priya's place, but she chose Priya because she trusts you, that Priya must honor it. Shanti also says she took the liberty because she did not want Priya to lose a good person in life and she thought Priya was her sister. Priya understands and apologizes.

Srinivasan and Vishnu are at a hotel, Srini is lamenting about how he wanted to make money, how all his plans went down the drain, he talks about KNK, how lucky she is. Vishnu feels SKPD is being set up, all this is a big drama, and wonders the brains behind the scheming, expresses a feeling it might be SR. Srini says SR is a "meow meow" that he can only talk big in front of others and can do nothing. Srini vents his anger over SR, finally both men leave. As they leave, they show Joe sitting in the table next to them, who finally says, Srini, Vishnu, Sivaraman, Shankarapandiyan!!!!

Priya gets a courier. Obviously from ACDs parents, who else. They've addressed the letter as "dear Marumagal". They talk about the fact that ACD loves her, how bad he feels that she does not talk to him anymore and stuff. They say he is a duty-driven police officer, he has always done good, that he did not mean for anything to go wrong etc etc. Finally, they want to see Priya in a bride's avtar, they tell her to wear the saree, jewels etc they had bought for her and to send them a photograph of hers dressed like a bride. Priya is moved and is nearly in tears after reading the letter.

SR comes to meet SKPDs daughter. KNK as she is descending the stairs switches on the camera that is in her chain locket. Now ACD, JC can see what is going on at SKPDs house with the help of the camera fitted in KNKs locket. SKPD introduces SR to KNK, some exchange of dialogs. Meanwhile ACD, JC and team are watching this interaction on a computer. As SKPD, SR, and KNK are talking some body calls up SKPD, and he tries to dodge meeting the person who called up. SR is ready to leave. Of course Joe is watching all this with binoculars standing outside SKPDs house. ACD and JC are discussing about SKPDs relationship with SR, they express their doubt that SKPDs and SRs friendship is not genuine, that both are trying to use each other for their own needs. FREEZE.

Update of "The Reconciliation" August 22, 2007

ACD comes to a restraunt, does not find a table, the waiter goes to find one, he asks Priya if she would mind sharing a table with someone else, of course she does not mind. ACD comes and sits, he is surprized to find Priya, but he is very happy of course, what a beautiful smile. Priya as usual kobama look. The waiter brings Priya's orders and ACd orders for gulab jamoon. Priya sits there not eating. ACD is thinking in his mind, "athaan kobam nu therinju pochu la, saapda vendi thaane", Priya is thinking like "with you sitting like this how can I eat", then ACD says something, that I did not catch, but Priya retorts back saying "police buthi pogatha". Just then ACDs mom calls up, and ACD wants them to come home, his mom says only if Priya changes her mind and is ready for marriage will they come. ACD tells his mom why dont you ask Priya yourself, of course ACD's mom is very happy That both of them have come out together. ACD gives the phone to Priya (he makes a reference to thayir vadai and gulab jamun, I did not quite catch it), ACDs mom is very happy tells Priya to take good care of ACD. Priya tries to tell her it was a chance meeting, but she does not. She gives the phone back to ACD, and his mom tells him they will be back pretty soon. Just then the waiter brings gulab jamoon, Priya takes the plate of gulab jamoon and eats it. ACD is very happy, both of them share the jamoon. Of course the waiter is tearing his hair wondering, they came single and now they are going together. ACD tells the waiter "rendu bill ya yum onna kudu". Priya and ACD are laughing.

August 22, 2007 Update

ACD and JC are talking about SKPD and SR, JC feels SR is too tame, but ACD feels otherwise. They are discussing about the person who called up SKPD, that they must find out who called SKPD. They also feel that Jamuna aka KNK should be very careful.......

Kandhu and his men go to see Murugesh's wife. He instigates them saying there is some big hand in Murugesh going missing, he asks them to go the Commissioners office to seek justice. He gives her some money also. Kandhu tells him men that if this issue goes to the commissioner's office then its trouble for SKPD.

Scene 3 was the restraunt scene. ACD wearing a grey full hand shirt, Priya (I dont remember what saree she was wearing). As usual it was great chemistry between the two, I have two regrets about this scene, ACD could have been more casual, secondly they could have chosen a trendier restaurant, something more romantic, but still...

KNK asks SKPD for a car, SKPD immediately calls Kannaku and shouts at him for not having gotten her a car earlier, but KNK wants the car to go out, she wants to go and meet her father. SKPD is not very much for it, but finally obliges.
KNK goes to meet her father with sweets and all. The other road layers come and speak to her. Today apparently is her "father's retirement day" so she has come to distribute sweets and all. Her father tells her to be very careful, that her life could be in danger. KNK says she will be careful, that even now somebody is following her and watching her, the camera zooms in on a car, its SR. FREEZE

August 23, 2007 Update

Starts off with KNK and Indran, he is telling KNK to be very careful, she says she has brought a gun with her for protection.

Shanti calls up ACD, tells him Priya told her everything about them. ACD wants to know what Priya told her, Shanti tells him, everything, how they met, how she spoke to him mom, and about the gulab jamoon and all. ACD is smiling. Shanti says she listened while Priya talked, about how she was wrong in holding ACD responsible for her father's death, that he was only doing his duty. In turn ACD says, the reason why he did not try to talk to Priya was he was sure Priya would understand one day, that even if he did talk to her if she was angry she might have misunderstood things, and things between them would have worsened. Shanti finally says both of them are made for each other and that Priya is lucky to have ACD. ACD says his mom says the same thing, that he is lucky to have Priya. Shanti says seekiram kalyanam, ACD says his mom also says the same thing.

Ghani comes with a forensic expert to ACDs office to tell him that SR had not forged Charulatha's signature like Priya had suspected. ACD says SR will not directly involve himself in such activites, and asks Ghani to cross verify with Srini's and Vishnu's signatures.

RK comes to Shanti's house. He has good news for Priya. He has spoken to a friend of his in Australia who has offered a job for Priya there. RK feels Priya needs a change of atmosphere and place especially since she has been through so much. Shanti tells RK Priya will not agree to go to Australia and tells RK to ask Priya straight. When Shanti asks Priya if she is interested in going to Australia, she refuses. Then Shanti breaks the news to RK that ACD and Priya have reconciled, that they are always over the phone, and ACDs parents have been calling her wanting to know when they can have the wedding. RK is happy, tells Shanti to ask ACDs parents to come to his house so that they can finalize the details. He tells Priya that he will do her "kanika dhanam" as her father. Priya is touched.

ACD and JC are watching the graphics expert come up with Joe Bril's face. ACD sees the face, remembers his meeting with Joe Bril. He is staring. FREEZE.

Aug 24

Jamuna goes on terrace and calls up ACD saying she feels sorry for Charu after the temple incident and that she feels like telling the truth to Charu. ACD asks not to do anything foolish and she should act her part properly to bring SKPD to justice.

Charu and Jamuna again meet in a Shopping mall and again Jamu cuts Charu's mooku.

Omni is leaving for Indhu's school and 'unmai'?? Joe calls her and gives some lecture on Time, distance and Speed with respect to Indhu's school , with allowance for delay at traffic signals and threatens to kill Indhu .Omni as she is driving calls up ACD and here I missed the dialogues - something like ACD assuring her everything will be taken care of. There is again some conversation bet Omni and Joe and rocket vidara madiri starts counting down from 60?? 😆😆.Shanthi tells him something. Omni finds her daughter with a new librarian, who is another police in mufti, school watchman is also a police in mufti. Shanthi thanks and leaves followed by a police car.

Joe meanwhile pulls out many SIM cards from his wallet and calls up someone and tells him that Shanthi has told the truth - that Joe Bril or Pril? told her 3 words - VIP , assassination appuram ennamo(sorry pa), this could be the truth or police could hv asked Shanthi to say something like this. With the possibility of the police having doubts abt them , Joe is instructed to be on guard - freeze

Aug 27, 2007 Brief Update

Shanti and Indhu come back home from school. Shanti gets a call from ACD asking her if Joe called up, Shanti tells him what happened. ACD says for the time being things are clear, that Joe will not bother her for sometime, says he will continue the security arrangements for her. Indhu wants to go to her friends house to play, but Shanti refuses to let her go, and scolds her.

SKPD asks his cashier man about Abirami, as to why she has not come yet, cashier says, now that Chinna Pecchi has come, and that you are no longer going to adopt her, she probably wont come. CP is listening to all this and Abirami comes in. She finds out the two men were discussing about her, asks them what, CP comes and tells her that SKPD was telling cashier that Abirami is his first daughter and stuff.

Four men have kidnapped Srinivasan, they bring him to SR. SR wants Srini's help to revenge on Charu by killing Chinna Pecchi. Srini refuses, says Charu is your problem, not mine, that CP is not only Charu's daughter, but SKPDs and stuff like that. SR is angry that Srini refused to see him, Srini is angry with SR over the forgery case. As Srini is about to leave he gets a call from Insp. Ghani asking him to come the comm. office. Srini says he is busy, but finally agrees to come. Then he asks SR as to whether his men can drop him off at the doc's clinic en route home. SR asks him what is wrong, Srini says right now nothing is wrong, but it will be, asks SR to move and crushes his thumb/finger on the door.

ACD and JC meeting, they discuss about Joe, his phone calls to Shanti, JC tellls ACD that this case has been going on for a long time, that ACD has to solve it quickly.

Indhu is playing in school. Narayanan comes to pick her up. She refuses to go with Narayanan saying she is going to a friend's house. She convinces Narayanan telling him her friends is the doctor's daughter and he leaves. As he is about to leave he sees Abirami's car drive in to the school campus, Abriami calls out to Indhu and Indhu is smiling. FREEZE.

August 28, 2007 Brief Update

Abirami takes Indhu to her house, while Narayanan watches. Back home Shanti is all tense, Naryanan comes home and lies to Shanti saying Indhu has gone to Rama, her friend's house. Shanti is not all that happy.

Abirami takes Indhu to her house, Nallan is surpized to see Indhu. Indhu goes on a tour of the house finds a new foto of Abirami with Shyam, Ramya and their parents when they were very small. She questions Abirami about the foto. (AFter this I missed a few mins)

Charu is seen thinking about Chinna Pecchi, Priya comes and tells Charu about a new project, Charu says she is not interested, that the only project in her mind right now is her daughter. She narrates everything (in muted dialog) to Priya, her servant Janaki is also listening.

Srini comes to see Insp. Ghani who question Srini about the forgery case, as usual he ularifies a little. Ghani wants Srini to write a few lines in English and put Charu's signature. Srini cannot write as he has injured his thumb. Ghani tells him to come back once the thumb has healed.

Shanti gets a call from Rama (indhu's friend), finds out that Indhu is not at Rama's place. Finally Narayanan vomits the truth. Indhu enters the house, guilt written all over her face, Shanti is furious. FREEZE.
