Highlights

- Shanthi, Karthik & their daughter go to the temple to do Thirukalyanam for Ambal.

- Ofcourse Abhirami & Srini arrive at the same temple as abhirami always starts anything auspicious after she prays to the ambal.

- Abhirami & Srini spot karthik & co in the temple

- A not a very happy camper

- Uma is at shanthi's house, when someone who knows shanthi comes to see if they could get appoint for their son or daughter forgot, from the cancer specialist, who was currently treating Laxmanan sir.

- Uma is shocked to find out that her dad was getting treated

- Laxman & RK are coming out of the hospital.

- Doctors say that laxman has been treated successfully and he just needs to continue to take the medicines.

- RK warns laxman not to mention this hospital.

- Uma arrives in Laxmanan's car. Uma meets with laxmanan & RK directly, she simply takes the bag & leaves. NO one speaks till they get home.

- Finally RK gives uma the medicial files, & asks her to speak.

- uma is all emotional & feels bad about how they kept this from her.

- laxman asks for forgiveness

Brief Update

- Uma is still emotional about why her dad kept the cancer issue from her(fair enough i guess)

- RK says that he was the one who asked laxman to keep it away from her for sometime, so uma should tell RK off

- Uma says that her dad did not teach her that, & from now on she will take care of her dad, & in her next birth she wishes that she is the mother & her dad is her son. so she can take care of him.

- uma reminiscing on her past with her dad.

(yes lkaran, this definitely is a baseless story line wasting our time, maybe they have date issues with the other actors 😉 )

And the ad goes on & on, on & on , on & on......

- Cheenu man is waiting with Abhirami, for the lawyer. Cheenu wants the lawyer to come before the auspicious times ends.

- He says seeing shanthi & karthik together is bad tiem for them

- The lawyer says he has done all the things that was required of them, & has finalised the deal to build it in 12 months, & has fixed abhirami's clientale for the next 5-10 years.

- The lawyer gives the papers, & says that cheenu sir & your brother should sign the documents. Abhirami & cheenu are shocked. (Looks like they are going to forge shyams sign or blackmail him)

- Abhirami says that she will deal things with shyam & not to worry. she says she will not let him go away from her, so she gave a share in this house

- cheenu puts dhoopam saying that shyam only listens to shanthi

- cheenu warns her to get shyams sign before this news goes to their enemy camp

- Abhi azahigya pisasu is thinking

- Raji is pretty upset when she hears about laxmans cancer. shanthi maam for the first time is bowled over that she did not know such a big vishayam. RK explains how he found out......

- ALl of them plan to go and visit them

- Shanthi asks what did the doctor say after the treatment.
- RK says that the doctor said there is no chance laxman will leave for long.(HUH YESTERDAY the doctor said everything is done, and he just has to take the medicines....thalaiya pichukanum pola irruU)

- they all plan to call shyam back quickly

- mad man madan is as alway confused, & shanthi maam is once again in the driver seat saying that she will ensure that shyam & uma's wedding will take place irrespective of laxmanan's condition that shyam should be vittoda mapillai

- Uma updates shyam boy(senti talk)(did this guy go for a month to america, i guess this is also like those pregnant mothers in serial, they remain pregnant for atleast for 350 episodes mostly)

- govinda is looking out at the ninaivu naal at that place. Govindans son comes from the anathai ashram. Govindan is shocked

Highlights

AC mahesh(srinis cop friend) is arrested for making duplicate House & land pathrams.

Balaji & Arjun meet & plan to destroy the Abhirami & srini kootani

Inspector ghani goes to arjun's house to discuss kanduvadi's case, kandus wife spots inspector and goes in hiding

Srini is very worried about his AC friends arrest. Abhirami starts thinking as to why srini is so scared if that AC isa rrestestd. She says he does not have to worry if he is not involved & she will give her full support to him. once srini leaves, abhirami is thinking serioulsy

kandu is very worried about AC's arrest, as he thinks maybe AC might blurt out that he has helped kandus. His adiyals say that the AC ismore close to srini than them , but it is better to check if the people who have pledged their house papers to them, are real & not duplicate

Inquiry has started on AC mahesh. They ask him to co-operate in cracking this case. They asks him lots of question & AC says that this is a national operation. AC says that he has not seen the kingpin, but he knows that they refer to the guy who comes to the press as RD. AC says that his job is just ot hide the documents in his house. Ac says that his wife does not know anything about these things. AC also gives details about this fake document ring, & tells that if the news comes in TV , then it is hard to find RD & make him speak

- AC mahesh signs his written vakumulam.

- Ghani takes mahesh away

- Abhirami gets a courier from america.

- Abhirami is happy to see that shyam has signed & sent the documents back & thinks shanthi your dreams are going to be shattered, you just cannot do anything to me

- Kandu meets his superior boss(the person who killed ramakrishnan), & asks him why kandu had called him. Kandu explains about how 2 cops came in disguise as RK's relatives, & now that AC who told kandu this matter is now arrested, so kandu is now afraid & confused. This annan tells kandu to forget that there was a person called ramakrishnana. Kandu says only this annan can protect him.

- Abhirami & srini meet the building contractor outside the bank to deposit the initial money for about 50lakhs & start the work. The goy inside the bank & wait for the manager, while they show rohini coming out of her cube, & abhirami abirami is shocked to see rohini there.

- They meet the manager, who asks the cashier to come. The cashier takes the DD & the manager asks the cashier to talk to rohini to discharge the documents. Rohini gives the house documents to abhirami. Rohini is thinking, & she promptly alerts

- Ghani is telling arjun & balaji, that this AC;s case might lead to even srini's arrest, which might also involve abhirami as srini always includes abhirami in all his dealings

- raji is praying in the temple, and asking ganapathy to bring her house back to them, and as shanthi desired they all should live happily everafter, kovil mani rings at that time.

- abhirami prays that ganapthy shoudl give her blessings to destroy rks' house

- they both go around the temple, and raji is near a tree praying while abhiramiis in front of her praying in another sannidhi, screen freezes

- Police are investigating Kandu about his connection with the AC

- Kandu is advised by his assitants to meet with Srini, so kandu goes to meet with srini

- As kandu leaves his house he sees a cocount seller & thinks he has seen him somewhere, but is unable to recollect, after kandu leaves, the cseller calls police station as he is apolice spy, & reports kandus moves, in the meanwhile kandu recollects the police man & heads back home

- Laxman is remiscing about his wife, & worried that uma is going to be alone, and he tells her how they do have relatives,but they all turned out to be selfish. They both get very emotional

- Abhis place, the building constructors come with their crew with a demo CD, & also tell them that they have got CMD approval to demoloish the house, the engineers go to play the tape to demolish the house, when raji enters, abhirami greets her and shows her the DVD where they have high tech ways to destroy a building. Raji is shocked.Abhirami is gloating. The engineers tell it takes 15 mins to demloish their building,abhirami gives permission to demolish the building. Raji is devastated & warns abhirami to stop destroying the house.

- raji goes home crying, & faints at their doorsteps as RK is watching, RK rushes and tries to wake herup

Shyam visits Laxman & is sad & laxman is lightening the moment & is giving analogy to fixing parts in a machine and how his part cannot be fixed

Shyam elaborates laxman about stopping the Bhoomi Poojai
Shyam says he will face the consequences from the builders

Laxman says he is proud of shyam & glad that his daughter has got a good life partner

Shyam says he will come back later to meet uma , who is at work, laxman is happy

Her highness shanthi maam is paying at home & taking care of her house, when she gets a call saying that raji is ok, from RK. RK says that she insists that she will go to the temple and come home after that.

As shanthi is going to get oates ready for raji, a person from military office comes and gives an order for karthik. Shanthi opens the letter & is not happy to read it.

The building promoter's MD is extremely furious about abhirami's project having come to a halt. They are all waiting for abhirami, abhirami is being threatened by the MD of that company and she immediately tries to call srini, but she cannot reach him. Abhirami leaves to meet the builder and raji comes to the temple & thanks him for stopping the building from being demolished

Srini is sitting and brooding about how he has turned off all his cell & phone connections as he is afraid that the cops might call him because of the AC's arrest

Abhirami & Srini meet & discuss about the MD's threats. Abhirami is all stressed. They both leave to meet the Builder.

The MD of the building contractor, is furious at them. MD says more than money , have to have faith. The MD is saying that he needs that place as his clients will sue him otherwise. so he needs abhiramis place & that is it

Update for Thur May 18-2006

--Discussion at the building promoter's office and he is very angry with Abirami and says that this project has to go ahead because he has given commitment to his clients and his firm's reputation is at stake. He says Shyam not signing or signing is their family affair and they have to sort it out. Faced with such firing from him, Abi/Srini somehow assure him that they will persuade shyam to come round and leave.

--Shyam comes home and meets a very angry Abi. She says she started this only after confirming with shyam and why he did like that? She further says she is doing all this for him and Ramya only. Shyam says he did not realize her motive at that time—now he knows it very well that she wants to humiliate RK family and bring them to their knees knowing fully well how much they are attached to this house. She does not reply directly to these words and tells him to go away from there.

--Shanti in RK's house and RK escorts wife home. RK tells shanti that because of her efforts only, we could stop the building pooja. She says god's will is also required and brings the letter that came earlier from Defence. Kartik reads the letter followed by RK and it said Kartik has to go to Military camp in Kashmir within 1 week. Shanti says Balaji also got similar letter.Then there is some conversation about being proud to serve the country etc.

--Kartik comes to Shanti to bid adieu to her and Indu.Lots of boring conversation follow like Shanti telling she was ll along waiting for the right time to come in her life so far but now she will wait for Kartik to come back. Indu talks fondly with Kartik about where he is going etc.

- Karthik leaves for his military assignment. Shanthi gives him a parcel, which contains a family photo of himself with shanthi and the kid and a aweater

- AC's wife goes to meet Srini. She requests him to help her take her husband out of jail. Srini tells her that is about to leave town so once he gets back he will get in touch with her

- An undercover cop (in the guise of a Isthri person), makes note of this

- Uma is asking shyam to convince abhirami & get her consent for their wedding. IF he does not speak to abhirami soon, and if anything happens to her dad, she will not get married, as she will be guilty about not fulling her dads last wish. She would rather get married in front of her dad than later, shyam is in a fix.

- The building constructor comes to srinis house & questions him about abhirami backing out on her deal, if she does not heed, then asks him to go and complain at the police station & not to torture him

- Laxman is having a doctors check & the doctor gives him hope that if he takes his medicine he will get cured, laxman is happy, outside the doctor tells uma that laxman is actually counting his days and try to satisfy any desires that laxman might have

- Uma is upset at what the doctor told about her dad. Laxman is praying to god to give him blessings to see his daughters wedding

- srini tells abhirami about the building contractor visit, abhirami says that she is waiting for her lawyer regarding the same. Srini asks her to reregister the house, in her name, because of the fake patharam deal, the lawyer is listening and says that this will not happen. He says that the supreme court has said that all the pathram's registered so far will stay valid. so the lawyer advises ahirami either to speak tothe contractor or bring shyam to see eye to eye with her

- Shyam meets shanthi in a grocery store & tells her about uma's desire and condition. She also reiterates that laxman might not wait that long.

- Shyam goes home. Abhirami stops him and asks where did he go, he says i went to meet my sister. Abhirami is taunting him. She asks when is your wedding, is it in kovil or kulathilaya. Shyam says it is all in your hands if my wedding will happen. Shyam, says i believe that you wont spoil my life, but you are killing me for your vengence. Abhirami is being very sarcastic. He says that my wedding is in your hands. Abhirami is thinking

- AC's wife is waiting outside the court when they bring him. The chief gives Ac permission to speak with his wife. His wife says about his meeting with srini, how srini will come after days, AC is now sensing how srini is avoiding him & is angry at srini. AC says once i come out , the first thing i will do is send him inside. his wife says her brother has arranged for a lawyer and to stay clear of srini once he comes out. AC says once i come out i will show srini what police power is.

- Builder promoter vishnu goes to meet the commisioner, about abhirami's case. He suggests that maybe abhirami forged the signature as he does not trust her partner advisor srini, & says that abhirami is rk's dil. Commissioner says he will take care

- abhirami's house she asks her maid where shyam was, she says that he has left, at that time abhirami gets a phone call from the police commissioner office, they ask her to come by 11 am, abhirami says that she will e out of town, the inspector says if you come by 11 tomorrow morning u can come in your car if not you have to come in our jeep
