This whole Laxmanan - cancer story line was a total waste!!! What is the objective of this? To show that he does not trust/confide in his daughter?

What is the purpose?!?!!?! Either the producer is making $#@%-load of money with this serial that he keeps extending it...or the director has no idea how to proceed...(I think it's the latter!) 😕 😡

Yeah, yesterday i was amazed that the cancer was cured so dramatically!!

- Govindan wants to go and talk to his son, but the caretaker stops him as it might hurt govindans sons chances of going to a good school & being safe

- Shanthi meets with Laxmanan & talks to him & asks him to have faith

- Srini informs abhirami about laxmanan's illness

- Abhirami goes & meets laxmanan & says that she now understands why laxmana put the condition that shyam should be Veetoda mapillai. She says with her full heart she agrees to shyam & uma's marriage, & she promises to convince shyam.

- Govindan goes to see his son in the anandhai ashram , at the same timethe inspector comes to inquire about a missing child. So govindan goes into hiding once again

- The inpsector along with some other cops is stopping vehicles and searching for govindan in it.

- They stop a truck & the truck driver says he is just carrying things for delivery, the inspecotr asks him to open the truck so they can inspect. The driver goes to open the truck , he then suddenly pushes the cop and runs away.

- On inspecting the truck they discover stacks of printed indian rupees (kAAla Nottu)

- The driver who ran away from the truck is caught & taken to the police station

- Govindan is upset that he couldnot visit with his son

- The cops are interrogating the truck driver, who only statement is that he does not know.

- Finally the driver starts to say Orru pakkathula oru printing press,,,,, the rest is muted

- Cut to cops going to the printing press, & beating all the staff black & blue & taking him to the police station along with some the prototypes.

- Public are discussing this issue as the Kalla notu makes the headlines.

- Balaji visits shanthi. Gupshup about kathik & shanthis wedding anniversary celebration & happy about how shanthis condition that raji & rk should welcome her in their old house.

- Raji is worried about how her old house is now in Abhirami's hands. SHe feels like she has given her oldest son to abhirami, when she thinks about her house being in abhirami's hands. she continues to be senti about her house & wants to chase abhirami out & they should move in. Rk says if we have andavan chitham it will definitely happen.

- Abhirami is looking at her multi building constructions,& is scheming to get shyam's signature to demolish this house & shatter shanthis' dream.

- abhirami calls shyam, and he thanks her for seeing laxman sir & comforting him. Then abhirami puts in her pitch by asking him to take care of uma & laxman sir's business & give them peace of mind. Shyam gets too senti. Abhirami slowly tells him about how their area has developed & cell pghone manufacturing companies are bidding high for their house, shyam says he also heard about that, & says he himself wonders sometime as to how thier house might become a multi storey building. Abhi is happy, shyam asks her to courier the papers & he will sign it and send it back.
