I did agree with Jiggly that ACD and Priya had an intense on-screen chemistry and I do regularly comment on his appearance (including the white socks ;-) But I try to keep reel and real lives separate. (Notice, I never made any reference to Saakshi Siva and Vanaja in the context of discussing chemistry, only to ACD and Priya.)

Marriage is dead-serious business and not something to be trifled with. Regardless of whether Saakshi is married or not, we have no right to put any ideas into his or Vanaja's heads -- ideas that they may never have entertained in their wildest dreams.

Any interest I have in Saakshi Siva's personal life is restricted to putting up a website which will profile him and give him the public visibility that he rightly deserves, given his talents (see signature below; another commercial ;-).

Sure, itsy-bitsy gossip won't fail to tickle my curiosity, but what Saakshi Siva is or isn't, does or doesn't in private life is really none of our business and shouldn't be the subject of public comment and discussion. No harm disseminating any public-interest information about personal lives of stars (e.g., whether married or not, how many children, hobbies, etc) but this should not extend to circulating unverified scurrilous stories or making value judgements about people's lifestyles.

Needless to say, I will continue to exercise my rights as an amateur film critic as well as an aspiring (dreaming?) creative writer through these forum pages. But I WON'T play matchmaker of any sort.

Just thought I'd contribute to a discussion of ground rules for fair comment by fans. I also thought we should elevate the tone of discussions so that Saakshi Siva, if he ever pops by again, and Cheyar Ravie find not marriage proposals but constructive feedback and comments (and creative story ideas).

That comment frm me was jus a bit of sarcasism and noway its seriously related to matchmaking........They are obviously actors and even if they do peep into the forum as you and me and all wish,they wud take it in the right and sportive spirit as TV media is nothing but fun ,fun and only fun.......................Am sure ACD is married,and even if such comments thtt they look good onscreen creep upto them somehow they wud consider it a success to their characters and acting and never ever think on the other side unless they have some real attraction towards each other.Fans like us are noway going to bother them.......😉

I will agree with Kams. I think most of us perceive ACD as ACD and not as Saakshi Siva. I am a fan of the character only. It is normal to carry things beyond the screen - that is why this forum exists with all its FFs. I do agree that we have no right to interfere with their personal lives - I don't think we are and if at all they happen to be reading the posts and are fickle minded to be carried away and get ideas it is their problem not ours. Being in the public eye I am sure they face more than just being paired together by a bunch of fans. They indeed have to be flattered by all that is going on in this forum. If Saakshi Siva and Vanaja get a pay raise I think they need to thank us a little 😛.

Hey, Jiggly. No need to get defensive; I wasn't chiding you. I do understand we all can get carried away by our daydreams (can't blame ourselves when ACD is so cute and makes us lose sense of reality).

And I do agree with Kams and Niri that film stars are used to their lives being scrutinsed and to fans making all manner of comments about them and pairing them off, etc. I just wanted to bring in a sense of reality, just to remind us all (myself included) not to get carried away. No offence meant to you.
