Well, Leena, I forgot to add in my update a small scene in which the fellow who gave the puli dress says Mahesh (Raja's proxy) had only met him. ACD looks puzzled.

Well, he is suspicious but the person who gave the puli dress says that he gave it to Mahesh only--it may be that he collected it on behalf of Raja.

Hence he is puzzled and the next step may be he might meet that Mahesh's mother
