Btw, 36 days to go ... (and Mr Viduthalai better treat us to some good action and positive turn of events before then)

Bon,
When you have nonsensical episodes like yesterday when we thankfully just have to read a post to find out what went on in the serial that nobody is interested in watching, such outcomes are logical. Even my Math teachers who have brain cancer can figure that out. One wonders why SunTv employs directors such as Viduthalai.

It is a pity that a show which looked so interesting and full of promise in 2006 has been allowed to deteriorate and become just another show with bigamy and scheming women and evil dadas, turning off its audiences.

When I first started watching this show in '06, I thought it was going to be different, with murder cases and a police force which seemed to be actually investigating the murders, but everything seemed to fizzle out, and finally all we were left with was a thodaatha manaivi, thotta but thaali kattaadha manaivi, and a bewildered husband who had no idea where to turn or what to do, and a family full of nosy parkers with nothing better to do than discuss which wife should remain and which one should go, while a whole file full of unsolved murders lay, gathering dust.

I watch only this, TMS (on the days when the update sounds like a good one) and Kasthuri (on some days) in the evenings, so I will definitely have more time from now on to pursue some hobbies. If only Mr V had changed things a little when he came on the scene, then maybe ... oh well, what's the use?

Eljay, you are right about how the serial started. I watched episode 1, eons ago, and thought it was promising -- remarriage of widow, who was was not accepted by the in-laws but nevertheless stood her ground and refused to shed tears like other serial heroines. Then, the serial got more exciting when a police hunk was introduced and he was given a love interest. The on-again-off-again relationship of ACD-Priya kept fans excited until someone decided that the focus had drifted away from the RK family and scheming Abhi. The producer/director then practically blotted out ACD from the show, relegating him to a piece of furniture whose marriage was celebrated in 27 seconds. Meanwhile, they suddenly realised that maybe Karthik was the hero and gave him two women, leading to the show going downhill thereafter and audience interest petering out.

Thanks, Shy for the prompt update. Looks like the police dept. is busy giving press conferences, even if they are no closer to finding Sameer and his boss, or gathering enough evidence to nab the murderers of the various cases they have on file. Maybe they think that the exposure will make it look like they are hard at work.

Well, now Naradar Srini will have to start his work since he is now out of favor with both Charu and SKPD, so he will have to look elsewhere to feather his nest. Will it be RK next?

I think ACP has some plan and letting SKPD is part of that plan.
He is going to get them all in one go - including Abhirami who is no longer going to get her mother's support.
The witness must have given his statement according to Durai - that is what he meant to Charulata that just wait and watch we have a plan.

Probably that is how the story will end and give us eternal anandham
