Oh I agree... Alka seemed too aloof and uncomfortable on the show..... She did not exchange even a smile with Shreya.. and then she walks up to Aishwarya specifically for the gift! Where even the little girl Aishwarya said that she was not in her best that day! Almost putting Alka in the tight spot! I thought that she should have been more compassionate with all the kids...

And yes, I too did not like her refering to Kunal, Shreya and Preetam as artists, rather than giving them respect of judges! You need to give respect to your co-workers!

Wow..great observation.Even I was feeling Alka's antipathy towards Shreya mostly and towards Anwesha to some extent.I also observed certain things-

In fact,it was so ridiculous that upon entering the stage Alkaji gives a big lecture on being humble and the moment she gazes on Shreya her insecurities get the better of her and she decides to isolate herself from the three of the judges altogether 😕 .

2)Keeping in line with the theme of the Retro raat,when Kunal,Abhas,Pritam and Shreya were mimicking the actors of yesteryears our humble Alkaji refused to give a proper smile,let alone a hearty laugh.I actually caught a glimpse of her touching up the make up on camera 😆 .

3)She ignored Shreya from the beginning and Shreya was also doing the same but a little more gracefully.At least,she was clapping at what Alkaji was saying.
When Alkaji started praising Aishwarya by saying she is fully prepared for playback singing,Shreya took the mike and said something in approval but Alkaji's humility and greatness made her totally ignore that continue with her own talking .

4)And then when Vyom asked her to sing the 'janejaan' song,she went out of sur there 😆 and got embarassed for that.

Whenever any other celebrity comes,there is lot of interaction between the judges and them and it makes the show very lively.But this Alka episode was really a bad one.

I really appreciate the maturity of Shreya.In spite of being so young,she has the grace to appreciate and ecncourage Anvesha and Aishwarya who can be a competition to her in the long run 👏 .
Hope she stays the same.

👏👏...well written...ab koi yeh sab milakar alkaji ke nazar mein lana...a lesson in humility is essential when you are top there.

Is it because Aishwarya and Alka are Gujjus? Alka might have wanted to support Aishwarya beacuse of this..also she would have felt Aish was being sidelined as Preetan always talks about Bengali connection to Anwesha...just my guess..

But still Alka should have behaved in a matured way..after all they are all kids..
