toshi shud b brought bak to svoi...i wached da epi just a few hrs back as well n cudnt stop crying ... am lost for words ...i mean da best four in the bottom four list...sadies..da voting system shud b changed!!!!!!

toshi's exit to sum it up in one word has been atrocious.it wont be wrong to say that he was the soul of svoi.many people tuned in to the show just to hear him sing.its a big loss to voi.

but there are quite a number of people responsible for it.adesh and lalit the prithvi team and at a certain level a few people from this forum as well.i wont take names but i would like to discuss a few things.

a good number of people come to if and quite a number are a part of the voi forum.some people give their analysis which is not wrong.some people have refused to grade toshi for some reasons.they are perfectly right there as well.but then he is graded by them on those occasions when he has not sung well stating that will have to grade him sometimes.whether they have done so out of malice or i have interpreted them wrongly is open to debate.but this has affected his votes.remember if is also a form of media.and our say counts.

adesh and lalit have also been culprits.they havent hyped him as they should have.they have always said that"yeh ladka bahut seekha hua hai""yeh ek achhe gharaane se hai"never once have they praised his voice or his command over sur while they have praised harshit and aabhas to the stars

let me tell u something about harsit and aabhas.they are good but nothing compared to toshi.harshit who has such a "buland awaaz" is a kumar sanu clone.for once abhijeet hit the nail on the head.and he deliberately tries to put that nasal twang in his voice.hear jo haal dil ka or even tu hi meri shab hai.the last one was a very urban number sung by kk and he made it seem like a kumar sanu song.though to give credit to him he did sing mast and channave in his own voice and both were bad performances

aabhas the boy wonder tampers with the ong quite a lot.it wasnt like toshi.toshi often liked to sing the sargam on which the song was based he didnt change the song like aabhas.hear soniye by him.it seems he is mocking his soniye when he says that word.he seems very overconfident to me.

toshi had a great voice and great command over sur.but unlike what many people think,he was also versatile.let us look at his songs and the genres.

1.piya re-sufi
2.mann ki lagan-sufi again
3.din dhall jaaye-ghazal(diff from sufi)
4.kaho na kaho-rock
5.ramta jogi-classical based
6.ek haseena thi-bollywood style kishoreda song
7.soni de nakhre-bhangra pop
8.ya ali-sufi rock
9.teri deewaani-sufi but diff from nfak and rfak style
10.dil mangta hai dildar-bhangra
11.phirta rahoon darbadar-sad with rock elements
12.o saaki saaki-item number
13.sili sili-folk song
14.yaar ko maine-romantic butkunal ganjawala song which is entirely different in terms of singing

if he is not versatile then who is???
also alka yagnik questioned him on thaerav.which of the songs other than din dhall jaaye needed thaerav in gaayki is my question.please answer anyone who can.

also some forum members said that he performed better than usual when he sang well.out of his 14 songs at least ten are mindblowing performances.so what does he usually sing???

i was hoping for a good competition between irfaan and toshi but seems as if that wont be the case

Jatin said he wished he had a wildcard option in Friday's episode, before Toshi's elimination. Its possible they may have a wildcard soon. Before people say its too late, remember Lil Champs had a wildcard after the final five were selected. Would everyone think its fair? Probably not.

Toshi was the face of VOI. In my college no one watches VOI but the only contestant of VOI they know is TOSHI. VOI and TOSHI were synonymous to each other. And eliminating the BEST is just not done.I simply can't digest this one. That's d reason why I registered to this site....to voice my views against this partiality!!!
Aadesh and lalit hve no right to be in the panel...y do they ask votes 4 harshit by trying to make the audience sympathise with him? never have they appreciated TOSHI with all their heart and soul inspite of the fact that he was their only contestant who made them proud on every occasion.....
I hate Aadesh, lalit , gajendra and all those who have had a part to play in this gimmick....cuz it wasn't public voting that saw Toshi out, but the bias of these ppl who that has led to this great loss....
nyone can ape MD.RAFI,KISHOR KUMAR,KK SONU ...but ORIGINALITY was what TOSHI was.....and all those who respect originality will get him back
But until then I'm not gonna watch this show....cuz I'm not interested in a drama...i want hard-core singing and only TOSHI can guarantee that....LUV U TOSHI

Toshi was and is the best singer among all the ones competing not only in SVOI but all the music shows on other channels too.His elimination is totally shocking to me and i no longer will watch the show.Its not b coz of the show that we got to know toshi but its b coz of toshi that we got to know the show.
And now i know what the show is all about ,its a show of baised jury and vote-begging participants (read harshit)and toshi was a misfit as he never begged for votes.But after visiting this site I dont think it was public choice to get him out -the public didn't let him down-his own mentors did.
My heart goes out to toshi and i wish that he bcomes a star soon and these very 'biased judges' wud know his worth.
After his elimination the show has nothing to offer and ppl like aadesh lalit and gajendra lost their crediblity .I wouldnt watch any show that is associated with these ppl.
SVOI has lost its star and i lost intrest in the show and things are going to be worse frm now on for SVOI.
In conclusion i wud like to quote WInston Churchill :THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PUBLIC OPINION ,BUT THERE IS ONLY PUBLISHED OPINION!
Here the public opinion is in favour of Toshi but what threw him out of d show was published opinion of the jury and a game for better TRPs and voting.
