Cupid strikes on reality talent hunt! šŸ˜•

Rumours are rife that Prantik Sur and Sayantani Das may be more than just good friends

DEEPALI DHINGRA

When two people stay together in close proximity for some days, it's but natural that there would be either some kind of friction or chemistry. In case of Prantik Sur and Sayantani Das, the contestants from Voice of India, it definitely seems to be the latter. Says a source from the sets, "It's very apparent those two want to be with each other all the time. They met each other during the eliminations in Kolkata and have become really close since then."
23-year-old Prantik Sur and 19-year-old Sayantani Das both hail from Kolkata and had formed a sort of group with two other contestants from the show. "They started helping each other out and realised at some point, that they share similar thoughts and views. They have been very careful that none of them get eliminated so that they can be with each other for the maximum time," says the source. Elaborating on their behaviour, the source adds that they are both religious and have
even visited a number of temples around the city together to pray. "Usually an escort is sent with the participants if they want to go anywhere in the city, but these two insist they don't need any," the source says.
When contacted, Sayantani admits that Prantik's is the first name that comes to her mind when she thinks of her best friends at the contest. But she denies any sort of relationship with the two. "We're just very good friends," she adds. Prantik too says in the same vein, "We have known each other even before the show started and maybe that's why the rumours. But we are just very good friends."

All this is really not needed to increase the popularity of the show... It has got the actual talent material to take it fwd! šŸ˜•

This news looks lot more apt for the II show😃

This actually shows the mindset of the viewers.Seems one who actually watch the show for the sake of hearing good songs is less.So finally the production houses hav no other way out. They finally hav to giv in to these gimmicks.

The story is same with the serials too in Indian tv now.Because viewers like those excellent drama's those k-serials are topping the charts.Other good serials are not getting their dues.

Its really sad but seems the old show days are now gone.Seems every show will hav such drama's and stories and we will hav to adjust to them. The trend as per viewers taste is - "Good singing with Masala" and thats what is happening in every show now.

Very well said di šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ Its a sad reflection of the majority TV viewer outlook where drama seems to be high on viewers choice from any show

this was probably the only irritating thing left to be done... the only thing worse that gajendra can do is start rumors about an affair between alka and abhijeet... i wonder who, if not the show director/prodcures, lets out these rumors in anycase... it is really testing the patience and for how long can the hope of hearing talent make viewers hold on to the show if something or the other like this keeps popping up to distract u...

Perfectly put forth. But at times I also feel maybe they should try once and see if really audience want these or not. Why not make a show for creative satisfaction!!! SVOI is the show that has the best talent. Maybe it would not have topped the charts but I don't think it would have been a flop either.

I just hope these production houses, be it the serial ones or these reality show ones, try to work towards changing the viewers taste. That would be in the best interest of all.😊

Totally agree Bhaskar - I would so eagerly wait for that day... Wish, we could go back to those golden days 😳

whos going to pay the bill for creative satisfaction
as HR so aptly said gajji ko bhi apne ghar mein roti chahiye
aur roti ke liye TRP chahiye
aur TRP ke liye drama chahiye

many of u seem to be blaming zee for making C05 drama
but if you see star with its crappy serials has even more drama so the pressure on gajji to match kekta will be even higher
