Live Update ASVOI : 9.6.2007

Jaipur Episode number II

We witnessed a rocking episode yesterday... We listened to 8 songs... and 5 people were selected... also some of the people not selected were good..... the expectations are high in Jaipur today with good promos coming out.... Hope for the best....

the show starts with Abhijeet performing

"Tumne na jaana ki main deewana" with his normal dancing and walking around..... he is great with great voice...... latest well known for his rudeness😆..... he comes below stage and goes around walking near public singing and dances with few people.... He performed really well i should see.... whether singing, performing or rudeness he is best i should say😆......

Aadesh says...... sur acche nahi the..... lols..... they make a lot of fun aadesh and abhijeet..... its too fast to write sorry😆........ while aadesh said ke tumhara yeh haal kaise hua referring to his baldness..... Abhijeet says.... now i m coming there so aapka bhi yahi haal hone wala hain😆......

Today also 8 contestants would be singing.....😊

First contestant: Mohammad Irfaan... from Hyderabad

He is an engineer .... he says that his dad had two ambitions that he be an engineer and a singer.... He is already engineer and now has come to fulfil second ambition....

He sings "In dino keh raha"

He has a nice voice....😊 I dont know if he is old SRGMP contestant😕..... he is above average in singing.... He is good but after the standards set yesterday, he cant impress to that extent

Aadesh: topi ka raaj kya hain..... baal hain ke nahi.... .... he removes topi.... so aadesh says maine taklo ko dekha hain topi lagate hue....(he definitely referred to himesh even after he shown his hairs... so Aadesh seems to be blind😆) then says on singing bahot acche
Alka: bahot accha irfaan dil ko chho gaya
Jatin Lalit: maja aa gaya.... aawaj dil me utar diya

Second contestant: Abhilasha:

ID would be annoying of her.... she spoke only in english😆

She sings "Tu chanda main chaandani"

She has such a nice voice👏..... she is the same girl shown in promos.... She seems to be trained in classical singing😊....... this was a pure classical number with minimum instrumentation and supporting music.... she was really good👏.... people shout so much that she stops in between......

All the judges goes screaming bahot acche..... and hui hui hui hui hui hui🤣🤣🤣

Jatin Lalit: Dekhane me hirni Gaane me koyal
Aadesh : Nazar na lage.... tum ho sangeeet ki paribhasha
Alka says shaan we got it

Third contestant: Smita jain

She sings "O saathi re din doobe na"

She has a melodious voice....She is singing well too👏.....

Alka stops and says bas.... attempted well but not good

all the judges says not good because of standards set yesterday... she just says thank you sir😊

I thought she was singing well😕

Fourth contestant: Komal Lalge....

She sings "Main saath samunder dhol gaya"

Shr is not good.... she has a lot to improve....breathing, surs and everything.... thts what i felt...

Abhijeet: sixer mara fir bhi average rakhana padta hain.... means u have to carry complete song well.... just start does nt matter
Aadesh: acchi sacchai aur khula pan hain sur kacche hain
Alka: Again Alka stops in between... kaccha singing hain
Jatin Lalit: chahe jito ya haro.... pehle ball pe sixer mara finishing nazar nahi aayi

Fifth Contestant: Sanjeev Kumar

He sings "Tujhe dekh dekh suna"

They said that seeing other participants performance he was nervous...... I must say he was miserable.....

Alka: Stops just with mukhada

It seems the judges have decided to stop the song in between itself if they feel that they cant go ahead ..... three contestants out of 5 are stopped halfway

Sixth contestant: Abid Jamal

He sings "Tanhai" from Dil chahta hain

I dont know why he is stressing at some places...... he made the song a little bad with that..... he is good at surs.... but the way he is changing his voice within words.... the song lost its touch...... I would say its dismal average performance still in sur😆...... he is moving his head as many times HR moves his wrist😆

Alka: Very nice
Aadesh: u r too good
Jatin Lalit: Accha gaya.......

He was in sur..... but because of modulation i cd nt enjoy the song

Seventh contestant: Arindam

He sings "Juda hoke bhi"

Wooooow he has such a superb voice.... he has superb voice..... but he was more on performing than singing well....

Alka: stops him in between... tells him to sing other song..... he sings "Bheegey hoth tere"

He is good in that song too.... 👏but he is looking to perform.....

Abhijeet: bahot acche
Jatin Lalit: halke ho lekin aawaj bhari hain u will go to mumbai
Alka: Josh hain power hain aawaj me
Aadesh: very good different voice

Eighth contestant: Kaushik

He sings"Dil se re"

He is singing well...... but what happened to him in the antara..... he was pronouncing wierdly 😆...... He is good at surs👏... He is a performer too....

Alka: Very good bahot acche
Abhijeet: tumhari chhote dadhi me aisa laga jaise alka ji ki julf me tinka😆....

Alka tells to bring gun to aadesh..... he brings some nakli bandook.........

They do some pathetic comedy...........

then they tell that singer se goli lag gayi aur ham sab ghayal ho gaye.......

they give recap of all auditions and number of selections.... total 24 contestants are selected before jaipur and 5 yesterday.... so total has now gone to 29....

Saath hindusthani are all gor abhilasha today she was brilliant👏

So now a final decision time.....

He says that as compared to yesterday today was nt good....

Okk so the show is finished......

So the total number of participants till now is 33..... Next week the VOI will go to Lukhnow..... a small promo is shown of Aadesh and Abhijeet fighting over a judgement of a girl..... aadesh says tum singer ho😉.... can someone sense something😆......

okk so it seems that the controversies and dramas will be on a high......

Overall todays episode was average.... with an outstanding singer in the form of Abhilasha😃......

sorry abhi..i switched off the computer to go watch the show..just got back 😳..i watched the preview on svoi indya.com earlier..

tonights show was a bit weaker than last nights i thought..

after theway irfan and abhilsha started the show,i expected it to be a repeat of last night..

tonight belonged to abhilasha..she really sounded great

Great update.The comic element is more than pathetic.It rings a jarring ludicrous note to some wonderful music.Why spoil the charm of VOI with this farce?

and all the funny scenes arent that funny i should say.. cuz they keep repeating the samething.. i feel as if its all scripted.. abhijeet's baldness and alka-abhijeet fights.. ehh.. but this show has alot of good talents..

hahahaha.. the precap was hilarious.. aadesh says that abhijeet is a singer.. oh man.. this will be a worth watching drama.. wonder what abhijeet has to say about it.. cuz there has already been a huge talk about this.. 😆

Abhilasha was brilliant 👏 Beautiful and trained voice.
While she was singing, it looked like the judges were discussing more and listening less. 😆 I guess they were talking about what an excellent singer she was!

Irfan is from C2005 and EMET. Another familiar face.

My favorites from Jaipur auditions are Abhilasha, Sumitra, Thoshi, Mriande, Arindum. Ryan Diaz is overrated by the judges IMO. I thought Shubhankar should have been selected yesterday instead.

Aadesh pulling out the gun was scary. OMG, he is getting so carried away. Crazy drama! 😆
