Very true. I've also noticed this. Like in C2007 Ashaji likes if the contestant sings her songs, Alka also likes if her contestants sing light romantic songs rather than classical songs.
I also agree with the fact that Abhijeet has the best musical sense among all though he is a bit short tempered n straight forward.
Alka is really controversial. If she thinks Priyani was inconsistent, how couldnt she notice tht Supriya's voice was out of sur slightly at a high pitch note in the antara???? Was she listening to the song or looking at her face? Or is she scared tht Priyani may bcome a competing singer for her in future (like Kavita Krishnamurthy has a leading edge over her bcoz of her classical base)????
Anirrudh was definitely not upto the mark..n how she can be so sure tht it was bcoz of his nervousness???
On the other hand, Priyani was very close to perfect n I think she was the best among all the singers, though I admit Aabhaas, Ira, Aanchal, Kini n Sanchari were also good.
Even Vidya was also good. It was only bcoz her voice was a bit more soft n was not suitable for stage singing. But as Abhijeet rightly pointed out her voice is more apt for recording studios.

Yup.Priyani shud defo had been selected esp when contestant like BHOLA has been.Not saying that he isnt a good singer, but felt that Priyana was wayyyyyyyy better! Maybe Alka ji feels thretned by fresh-classic singers! 😆 😆

I don't know how can they select bhola over her ..
though if Im not wrong .. alka mentioned that the rest of the candidates would remain stand by ..so hopefully at later stage they call Priyani ...

waisay I feel Bhola has a potential for getting more public attention on program and getting sympathy votes.... I think he can be a good charachter for a reality soap if they don't find someone better than him .... after all kuch drama karnay kay liye masala bhi tau chahye 😉

My dear, I dont know abt u but I've learnt classical music for 7 years n I've won so many music competitions since I was a kid n till now..But still to sing the song perfectly which Priyani sang 'Tumhari Adaon pe mai wari-wari' will b difficult for me. n I bet if Alka Yagnik makes an attempt, she cannot sing to the level of perfection.

Sanchita was always good in her singing and consistent right from the beginning .But she never got support from alkaji ....and finally got some encouragement when sanchita got into her guidance at the later stage of the competition .

I totally agree with you. I have always noticed in the Little Champ as well as int VOI that the judgement is always based on Alkaji's decision. If she praises someone he/she is through.
