Well said, and I also liked this show for the characterization and so ordinary next to door pair.

When I started watching it I could connect to it, how beautifully they are trying to tell us to go beyond the dreams and the looks, and understand their caring nature.
I simply loved the episode when Amit takes the friend to hospital and how he convinces her to enter the room to see the baby😳👍🏼
And they showed just amazing chemistry and am glad for this refreshing show Sony has bought in.

i too loved that epsiode

😃 I loved your post Rima -- this was exactly the reason that I started watching/ following this show... It was refreshingly different and unglamorous...

I feel quite a few IPK fans have found solace in this show. Its not the same type of show, but Amita ka Amit is very charming. Its very realistic, and I am loving every relationship shown- except Amit's mom. I have seen Saas Bahu type shows, but she literally makes me cringe because this show is very easy going, and her evident dislike seems a bit too out of place for me.

true
like ipk this show is unique and not saas bahu types
though i see an emerging saas bahu angle
still i hope it is not developed that way

I started Saraswatichandra though.. but somehow.. ek week ke baad, I didn't quite like it. More than epis now.. I am dreading to see something sad in the future.. Not ready for it.. 😉😆😆
so, decided to stay away😊
Amita ka Amit is a light hearted show as of now.. and I hope it continues..
I don't want to cry seeing TV show for God's sake.. I switch TV on for some entertainment & some good messages that reaches out to people thru it... that's all.😃
Khushi was the 1st ever indian character I liked the most. 😊 though I didn't follow IPK since start.. I made sure to watch all Khushi/Sanaya's scenes on youtube.😉😃
and About Sanaya.. I so much like her. One of the finest Actress on Indian TV.
top of all.. she is coming in TV show based on Movie Khubsoorat.. Hrishi Da's movie. I am dying for it. I loved Hrishikesh Mukherjee as director.. n all his movies are my fav.. I am sure Sanaya will rock it big time. and this time I will watch it since start religiously.. 😃😃😃

I don't want to intrude, but couldn't help myself. I started SC as well! In all honesty I was looking for another IPK, but it hasn't cut it for me yet. The reason being that the possibility of it being a very sad story drawn out like what I heard about the novel. I don't like watch sad things, but I am going to keep watching and decide as the tracks come :)

On the other hand, I am looking forward to Modern Bahu. I wasn't that thrilled at first, but after the first promo and seeing Sanaya back, I can't wait! Khoobsurat was a very light hearted movie, so I really do hope it is along the same lines, and Sanaya is great at the cute/mischievous roles. I started watching IPK only for Barun, but Sanaya won my heart from the 3rd episode on. She was amazing, and I am now a HUGE fan of hers.
