Today's episode was a treat to watch and fast paced. Sonali's expressions were superb as you mentioned. From being helpless and confused where she doesn't know what to believe to getting hit right in the face with the ugly truth and showing anger. Her expressions were topnotch.
So true .. just loved the way she depicted all the pain and turmoil of Shobha once the truth sinks in .. 👏👏
Totally agree with you. Shobha needed the reality check from her friend otherwise there would have been a lot of ringa ringa roses with her feelings. Again a valid point you analysed; Shobha being an ideal daughter in law will stay in the house just for the sake of having shelter over her children's heads. I wasn't expecting the show to be this fast paced where she got to know about her husband just in the 2nd episode but they pulled it off very well.
I think CVs r moving fast to start the main track of Vikram and Shobha from next week .. the pace might slow down a bit once Shobha starts working for Vikram and the main love track starts 😳
These four things exist in a lot of relationships especially the pati-patni relation. The toughest phase to go through. Vikram's nani seems the relaxed and chilled out kind of person. Obviously completely opposite to Vikram 😆 "we need more men like Vikram" - what my mother said while watching show. Along with being a male chauvinist; he says the truth. As they say "the truth hurts" but Vikram's POV is absolutely correct in some way or the other. He'd rather say the truth than make someone happy with a lie. His unconventional thought make him stand out from the crowd. Even though done unknowingly and indirectly; it is his unconventional thoughts that made Shobha muster up some courage and go face reality.
I so agree ... Vikram might b rude arrogent and blunt .. his words might pinch hard and we might even feell like slapping him on few of his anti-woman comments but he is not fake and is actually telling us the bitter reality ... he appreciates women who r strong reason why he respects his Nani so much but he detests women who actually treat their own self like doormats by giving in to their husband's whims and fancies ..
Samarth was hardly shown in the episode today but with the little space he had, he managed to finally break out of his false and pretentious world. A cheater not only to his wife and family but a traitor to the nation. He turned around and put all the blame on his wife who lived in her own fairy tale which he himself had created for her. Whether to protect her from getting hurt (I doubt it) or to keep his affairs and infidelity a secret. Not a glimpse of regret or sympathy in his eyes and voice while talking to Shobha. I just think his anger is his conscience speaking. Now that he is behind bars and has no control per anything; he wants to make himself better and feel like a man by putting the blame on his wife.
Yes felt bad for Shobha there .. she dint believe anyone but when Samarth himself showed his trust colours and blasts her off , thats it , her world comes crashing down ... 😭
I love your use of vocabulary Jyo. "Doormat" < couldn't have used a better word. Just because ideal wives stay home and take care of the family, keeping it together, it doesn't mean that they are pieces of furniture in the house which can be traded on or used whenever the husband feels like. Shobha is exactly what the term "doormat" is suppose to represent. She believed that her life was complete with a loving husband and family. Little did she know that her husband cared for no one except his image.
Actually I guess doormat is the word Vikram uses while he is speaking to his friend about women .. we need to appreciate Vikram's vocabulary in this case 😆😆... no wonder that word hits Shobha hard and she decides to confront Samarth and find out the truth
OMG Shobha's friend. A carbon copy of Vikram in a formal version 🤣 if it wasn't for her then Shobha would have been stuck in a loop. A very straight forward and blunt woman who speaks the truth and nothing but the truth. What she said is absolutely true and definitely applaud able. As they say "a friend in need is a friend indeed" Usha was a perfect friend. In this sense she was more of an advisor and guider who came as a ray of light in Shobha's life while she played the damsel in distress. If only most women would think like her. I hope they show her often cause I liked her character 😆
Yeah at least she dint ask her to compromise unlike Shobha's own mother .. she just showed the real mirror to Shobha and prepared her mentally for future .. loved her ..
Again; I liked how you've pointed out Vikram's monkey cap as a protective shell. Locked up in his own world and not willing to change anything even the size of a grain of sand 😆 .. I also thought that maybe he had fallen in love before and things didn't go so well therefore he has put up this protective barrier around himself. (Shobha should change this soon 😉)
yup I feel that only .. there must b some reason why he has such strong opinions about women na .. either he was betrayed by some girl or mayb his mother left him or something like that 🤔
It should be interesting to watch Shobha being given a harsh reality check by Vikram when she joins his coffee shop. After Samarth broke Shobha's illusion of a fairy tale with his reality of deceit, infidelity, stone hearted "personality" ; I hope Vikram completely transforms Shobha into a 'no nonsense' kind of woman who knows how to face situations without backing down and depending on other people.
I m sure Shobha will learn a lot about real world from Vikram while Vikram too will learn a lot about being happy from Shobha .. they both can actually learn a lot from each other 😳
The show seems to be taking an interesting tun. Really excited for tomorrow. Let's see how these two men affect Shobha's life.
same here .. excited for tomorrow 😃
Amazing analysis Jyo 🤗
awesome take dear 🤗
