Normally i try to stay away from Ekta shows for which she ruins it after certain point but decided to watch this show due to the promos and Sonali making her TV debut.

The execution and the locations were beautiful. From the starting till the end, i kept wondering what's next and the way the story was moving was really beautiful.

Shobha and her married life with Samarth was so dream like until the truth is revealed and Shobha is shattered. Everything she used to believed in turned out to be a lie? 😕

And then comes Vikram. The day he opens his shop opposite their house and Samarth is arrested. Hope he didn't jinxed their relationship 😆 And Vikram is a total opposite of Shobha and it would be really interesting to see their bonding.

I can't help but to wonder that in the longer run, would Vikram only remain a friend or more than that or just a person to guide Shobha during her dark hours.

Overall, Sonali is really beautiful as ever and she has aged so gracefully and i really loved the avi scene 😳

Visha same here .. I was a bit skeptical to watch a Ekta show too 😆😆 but off late I think she is doing well with the stories be it YHM or JA .. So hopefully ADHY will remain sane for first 6-7 months at least 😆😆

Vikram has indeed jinxed their relation 😆😆 .. Or mayb they will show Shobha was destined to b with Vikram and not Samarth 😛😉 ...

I feel eventually both will b more than friends .. they might actually fall in love too or else CVs would not hv stressed much on Samarth-Shobha's Arranged marriage and not love marriage .. so mayb Ekta will show Shobha never really fell in love .. ahemmm 😉

And in this case Shobha actually hv every valid reason to walk out of this marriage because from today's epi it seems Samarth had many such affairs in the past

He can teach Shobha a lot. Once she can get along with this character, she may not get shocked in future.
PMC reminded me of Physics, Maths, Chem. 😆 His grandma knows how to handle him. She is bothered about her curls getting spoiled & he was concerned about media people misusing his coffee shop.

Actually today's epi did that 😆😆

Shobha continued to b in denial till she overhears Vikram talking about women being doormats and never questioning their hubby and thats when she was motivated to meet her hubby and find out the truth 😆 ... So all his bluntness actually did good for Shobha and she is at least aware of the truth ..

that grandmaa is quite cool 😆

What a brilliant opening episode and what a fabulous take Jyo 🤗

Expected nothing less from you though 😉

What I loved about the episode is how natural it looked and felt. Small-small details matter a lot and I loved the fact that the makers never overlooked them. Well with the new and improved brand that Ekta and her team is turning out to be I don't expect anything less. The team very well knows that emotions are the connectors in human life and if a
show doesn't get at you emotionally it almost always never works... Emotions are what drives viewers to watch a show further. So keeping that in mind the narration, the story, the pace and the over all execution was nothing but amazing!!!!

Right in the first episode they Team has managed to make the viewers ponder on a very serious topic "Commitment". Even 9 years of marriage, love and togetherness can't apparently guarantee Faithfulness. The direction changed from a celebratory and happy note to one where loyalty, love etc being questioned in the first episode itself...Half the battle is won there!!!

While everybody is raving about the cast and the characters and how distinctively they have been penned down and portrayed right in the first episode-an opinion that even I concur; I would say for me what stood out in the first episode was the narration and the dialogues. Shobha's opening lines and the ones when the episode concluded were CLASS apart. My personal favorite was the line she says when she unknowingly encounters Vikram for the second time after Samarth gets arrested "Sometimes life just needs a small pause, what's going to happen next" and she brushes against Vikram who incidentally will be the NEXT phase in her life 😳

When Vikram pulls off Shobha's message from the Notice Board, the first thing he does after concluding it was written by a Bewakoof Aurat is keep it in his pocket...A very simple gesture but which speaks volumes of what Vikram-Shobha angle was going to be. He keeps her note but how can something that falsely existed ever be kept which is what happens soon after. The note falls off indicating the sham of a marriage that just fell apart after 9 years.

You write and I quote "I believe in future questions will b raised on Shobha's character once she develops a relation of humanity , friendship and bonding with Vikram ...But the real Question will be .. What is more sinful ? .. Samarth cheating on his wife for last 9 yrs ? or Shobha deciding to walk out of this marriage and find true love in someone else ? .. ...And Shobha's kids will play a major factor here as well .." That is exactly what it is going to be.

As much as I believe that fictional shows are for entertainment, I also believe that when TV has such sprawling reach there is no harm in using it to break several of the conventional concepts that exists in the society, break taboos etc . So what is more Sinful? Samarth cheating on his wife ? or Shobha deciding to walk out of the marriage and find true love in someone else ?😊

@Viji : So good to see u here 🤗 .. will love to see your comments regularly in the forum now 😳

I agree about Ekta and her team .. they r on a roll .. the creative team of balaji is doing a fab job with almost all their shows ... and yes commitment is a very serious topic today in our society . we often brush it under the carpet in the name of true love , trust etc etc but the right word here is commitment .. how long u stay committed to your partner once your initial love and honeymoon phase is over defines your real character and thats where Samarth failed to lived upto the expectation of his wife and family .. can Vikram succeed here 🤔😳...

Me too loved that pause wala dialogue .. that pause was needed for her to start her new journey and from here on story of ViBha starts 😃
