i am full sikh and i have been to alot of sikh weddings and they usually happen in a gurdwara. 😛
my dad said that if they try to to make the whole serial punjabi then people won't want to watch it cuz most of the veiwers are hindu. but usually punjabi people don't wear saris and don't wear sindoor.
😉 sumtimes on specail occasions they will wear saris. but usually in the first month of marriage they will wear sindoor. if the adhm people were going to make a show about punjabi culture and religon then they should make it rite.

i'm also a full punjabi sikh n i agree they should have upheld the punjabi tradition, i dont like how they have the sari's and all either that much. yah to the parties sure, but at home they should atleast where the salwaar kameez. it would b so much nicer.

I am a sikh too and you're right we don't wear sari's, my mom only wore it once in her life and now doesn't even own any 😆 and your also right that we don't get married in a mandir or wear sindoor, I noticed it on other shows too where the family jumps around yelling they are punjabi but yet get married in a mandir and do pooja and all that no offense to anyone but that is not fair to the punjabis I think it confuses other viewers about our religion don't you agree???

they should either show it all the way or not show it at all

i believe this show is fully hindu punjabi.. not sikh..
from what i know hindu punjabi wear saree and sindoor..
sikh sometime does.. but majority of time it does not..
isn't this show about hindu punjabi..
plus to keep the viewers glued.. you have to mix it.. litle. if it was all sikh, purely then not that many people will watch it.. just like tktg - thats jain family story but they speak hindi.. and they don't have everything like purely gujju stuff.. gujju don't speak hindi.. you all do too much analysis..
