CHAPTER - 25

[ Past ]

After Ranjit's discharge,Ananya and her family brought him home.Ananya took care of her father single handedly for some days and didn't let anyone do anything for him but she could do that only for a few days as she had to return to Mumbai where Akash was waiting for her.She said to Ranjit,"Papa ab mujhe waapas jaana parega,waha bohot saara kaam pending para hua hai."Ranjit said,"Ha ha beta tu chali ja aakhir tere boss ne hamaari itni madat ki hai,tujhe unka nuksaan nehi hone dena chahiye.Tu waapas ja ab to main bilkul thik hu aur itne saare log hai yaha is ghar mein mera dhyaan rakhne ke liye.Tu ja aur bilkul meri fikar mat kar."Ananya nodded her head and then booked her tickets for Mumbai the next day.That day,Akash called her and was crying over phone.The convo :-

Ak :- "Ananya tum kab aaogi?"

An :- "Akash tum ro rahe ho?Tum mere achche waale Akash ho na and you're a big boy aur big boys aise kabhi rote hai kya?Batao mujhe kya baat hai?"

Ak :- "Ananya mujhe na tumhaari bohot yaad aa rahi hai.Tum yaha nehi ho na to mere saath koi nehi khelta,kisike paas mere liye time nehi hai,papa ke paas bhi nehi.Main yaha itne bare ghar mein bilkul akela ho gaya hu aur pata hai Akshay aur Dhruv mujhe bohot pareshaan karte hai aur vo gandi aunty unhe kuch bhi nehi kehti hai.Tum jaldi waapas aa jaao na."

An :- "Arey main kal hi waapas aa rahi hu.Jabtum kal morning mein aakhe khologe na tab tum dekhna main tumhaare saamne khari rahungi."

Akash was so happy hearing Ananya would return tomorrow and then he wiped his tears happily.

Ak :- "Tum sach mein kal aa rahi ho?"

An :- "Ha bilkul achcha batao Akash ko Delhi se kya chahiye?"

Ak :- "Mujhe kuch nei chahiye bas tum aa jaao jaldi se."

Ananya talked with Akash for some more time and then disconnected the call.But one thing that she didn't know was that Natasha heard her talking over the phone and she grew more and more suspicious over Ananya's change of attitude when she talked with Akash over the phone and she doubted that Ananya might have been doing something which was not good for her.

As promised,Ananya reached home before Akash woke up in the morning.When he woke up,she found that Akash was still sleeping and she called him up,"Akash dekho main ghar waapas aa gayi.Uth jaao!!"Akash slowly opened his eyes and found that Ananya was sitting right in front of him.She said,"Dekho maine tumse promise kiya tha na ke main tumhaare paas waapas aa jaaungi tumhaari aakh khulne se pehle.See I kept my promise."Akash was so happy that he hugged Ananya tightly and then said,"Ananya tum aa gayi?Mujhe na kal raat ko neend hi nehi aayi,main to wait kar raha tha na ke tum kab aaogi,phir na daadi ne samjhaaya ke main agar sounga nehi to tum nehi aaogi isliye main jaldi se so gaya."Namrata said,"Achcha hua Ananya aa gayi varna Akash to hamaari koi bhi baat sunta hi nehi hai,sirf Ananya ki baat sunta hai."He grabbed the loose end of Ananya's saree and then said,"Ha kyuki Ananya mujhse itna sara pyar karti hai na isliye aur vo mujhe story sunaati hai,mere saath khelti bhi hai aur kabhi mujhe daatthi nehi hai."Ananya said,"Achcha Akash abhi good boy ki tarah uth jaao aur brush karlo phir breakfast khatam karne ke baad hum dono mandir jaayenge."Akash asked,"Mandir jaayenge??Main dholu ko bhi lekar chalu?"She nodded her head.After reaching the temple,all the people were staring at Akash and his antics and Akash was feeling very uncomfortable with the ways of their lookings.He asked Ananya,"Ananya sab meri taraf aise kyu dekh rahe hai?Main ganda lag raha hu kya?"Ananya looked at everyone and then said to Akash,"Nehi nehi Akash tum to bohot achche lag rahe ho,tabhi sab log tumhe ghur ghur kar dekh rahe hai kyuki baaki koi bhi itna achcha nehi lag raha hai na isliye unhe tumse jalan ho rahi hai."She went towards the idol and prayed for Akash's well being.The priest asked Ananya,"Beti ye kaun hai?"Ananya replied,"Panditji ye mere pati hai.Ek accident ke vajah se inki ye haalat ho gayi hai.Aap bhagwaan se prarthna kijiye ke ye jaldi se thik ho jaaye."The priest said,"Beti main matarani se prarthna karunga ke tumhaara pati jald hi thik ho jaaye aur tum dono ki grehast jeevan mein sada khushaali rahe."Ananya was sad and said in her mind,"Shaayad ye meri zindagi mein kabhi nehi ho sakta."She then said to the priest,"Panditji jab mere pati thik ho jaayenge na to main khud apne haatho se banakaar bhog charaaungi."Akash said to his toy,"Dholu haath jodo aur bhagwaan ko pranaam karo.Maine aur daadi ne seekhaya tha na tumhe?"Ananya took prasaad from the priest and then gave it to Akash and said,"Akash chalo ghar chalte hai,daadi intezaar kar rahi hogi na."Akash said,"Par mujhe ice cream chahiye,tumne promise kiya tha na ke tum mujhe aaj ice cream khilaaogi."Ananya nodded her head and then they left the temple.

[ 2 Months Later ]

Akash and Ananya became inseparable souls within the time passed by and Akash used to get motherly security and friendly love from Ananya and Ananya considered Akash both as her child and as her husband.Akash's mental condition seemed to get better as time passed and even the doctors were happy at Akash's progress and they assured Yash that Akash will be fine as soon as possible.One day,Akshay and Dhruv planned to play an prank on Akash and so they put crackers under Akash's bed.Now Akash was very much scared of loud sounds and even in the night when thunder used to strike,Akash used cuddle towards Ananya in his sleep and held her hand tightly.So when Akash was talking with his toy,from his back,Akshay and Dhruv,fired the lid of the cracker and within a few seconds,it started bursting off.At that time,Ananya was busy in the kitchen preparing for Akash's food and Akash started screaming and jumping taking Ananya's name.He covered his ears and ran out of the room and cried for Ananya.Since Akash's room was a bit away from the kitchen,so Ananya could not hear anything but as soon as Akash came out of his room and started screaming,Ananya ran out of the kitchen and then Akash hugged her and Ananya asked,"Kya hua Akash tum chillaye kyu?Kya hua batao?"Akash was not able to talk properly out of extreme fear and so Ananya gave him a glass of water to drink and then comforted him and then asked,"Akash kya hua mujhe nehi bataoge?"He replied,"Tumhe pata hai Ananya ye Dhruv aur Akshay ne milkar na mere kamre mein mere bed ke neeche pataakhe rakh diye.Mujhe pataakho se dar lagta hai na phir bhi in logo ne aisa kiya.Tum na inki complain papa se karna aur phir inko daat bhi dena.Ye log bohot bure hai."Ananya was very angry at both of them and then confronted them in their room and asked,"Tum dono ne Akash ke saath aisa kyu kiya?"Akshay asked,"Kya tumne hume aisa karte huye dekha hai?"Dhruv said to Akshay,"Bhai vaise bhi vo ek paagal hai aur ek paagal ki baat maan kar ye...hamaare so called paagal bhai ki contract marriage waali biwi hume dhamkaane chali aayi."Akshay raised his finger on Ananya's face and said,"Listen Miss Nobody!!Yaha jis kaam ke liye aayi ho vo kaam karo.Zyaada sahi mein apne aap ko is ghar ki bahu aur hamaari bhabhi samajhne ki galti mat karna.Apni aukaad mein raho samjhi.Bluddy small town girl!!"Ananya was feeling very insulted but that insult was appearing to be very small in comparison to the pain of Akash and so she looked at them and said,"You know what you are right!!Mujhe apni aukaad mein rehna chahiye aur jahatak baat rahi apne aap ko is ghar ki bahu samajhne ki to vo mujhe samajhne ki koi zarurat nehi hai kyuki khud is ghar ke maalik ne mujhe is ghar ki bahu hone ka haq diya hai aur ab main tumhe dikhaati hu ke ek chote sheher ki larki kya kar sakti hai."She picked up the flower vase in her hand and then threw it on to the television breaking it and then again took something heavy in her hand and then broke the mirror and then said,"Tumhaare jaise pare likhe jaanwar ko jo language samajhme aati hai aaj maine tumhe usi bhasha mein sab kuch samjhaya hai and I hope ke aaj ke baad tum aaj ke din ko bhuloge nehi.Ek baat tum dono hamesha yaad rakhna agar aayinda se mere pati ko pareshaan karne ki koshish ki to tum dono hamesha mujhe apne saamne khara hua paaoge aur bhabhi rishtey mein bari hoti hai aur us naate jo aajtak tumhaare ma baap ne tumhaare saath nehi kiya,matlab tumhaari galti par tumhe punish karna,vo main karungi.Isliye mere Akash se dur rehna."Saying she left from there.Dhruv said to Akshay,"Bhai hume ye baat dad ko bataani chahiye vohi iske par katar sakte hai.Is ghar ki maalkin samahne lagi hai apne aap ko."Akshay replied,"Dad ko kehkar koi faayda nehi hai kyuki vo apne bare bete se bohot pyar karte hai isliye ulta humne hi sunna parega.Aaj ki is beizzati ka hisaab hume khud se akele hi lena parega Dhruv."He grinned,"Aur aisa badla lunga na main ke vo zindagi bhar yaad rakkhegi."Dhruv agreed.

Ananya went to Akash and found him sitting all scared in the corner of a sofa.Ananya felt so pity for his condition that tears came down of her eyes.She walked upto him and then said,"Akash chalo utho main tumhe room mein lekar chalti hu."Akash nodded his head and then said,"Nei nei main nei jaaunga,vaha pataakhe hai na to mujhe pataakho se dar lagta hai."She replied,"Vaha koi pataakhe nehi hai Akash,main sab saaf kara dungi."He said,"Nei nei vo na Akshay aur Dhruv na waapas se pataakhe rakh denge."Ananya said,"Maine Akshay aur Dhruv ko daat diya hai aur unko punish bhi kar diya hai ab se vo tumhe kabhi pareshaan nehi karenge.Tumhe mujhpar trust hai na?To bas chalo mere saath."Ananya took Akash alongwith her and then he lied down on the bed grabbing Ananya's hand and putting his head on her lap.She patted on his head very lovingly.

Ooo.

Ananya excused Akash for some time and then went to take his food.When she returned,she found that Akash was weeping hugging his mother's photo.

Tere dil ka mere dil se rishta puraana hai.

In aakho se har aasoo mujhko churaana hai.

Mujhko churaana hai...

Mujhko churaana hai.

Ananya sat in front of Akash and then wiped his tears and smiled.He put the photo of Akash's mother aside and then said,"Maine tumhe kya kaha tha ke big boys rote nehi hai."Akash replied,"Meri mamma nehi hai na isliye sab mujhe pareshaan karte hai.Agar meri mamma hoti to ye gandi aunty kabhi ghar mein nehi aati aur papa hamesha unhiki baat sunte hai."Ananya said,"Mamma nehi hai to kya hua main hu na aur agar tumhaari gandi aunty nehi hoti to Suhaana kaise aati?Tum usse bohot pyar karte ho na."Akash nodded his head and then said,"Arey maine to ye socha hi nehi.Tum kitni intelligent ho Ananya."She smiled and then said,"Thik hai abhi khana kha lo."Akash asked her to feed him and Ananya accepted.

In aakho se har aasoo mujhko churaana hai.

Akash went to take bath after some time,but he couldn't wipe his hair with the towel.After wearing the dress when he came out with the towel on his head,he was looking so funny that Ananya could not stop laughing and then she wiped his hair.

Teri bechaini ka,teri tanhaayi ka.

Ehsaas hai mujhko sun...

Main jo saath tere hu,phir tujhe hai kaisa gham.

Dard baat lenge hum sun...

Ooo.

Ananya then started combing his hair which was not liked by Akash and he made his own hair style but Ananya did not like his one and made his hair according to her wish and this ensued and fight between them and at last Ananya became angry and Akash had to give up by pouting.

In palko mein khushiyo ka sapna sajana hai.

Tere dil ka mere dil se rishta puraana hai.

One day,Akash locked his room from inside and was making some kind of secret painting hiding from everyone.Ananya came to him for giving his medicines but found his door locked from inside.She knocked and knocked and asked from outside,"Akash ye darwaza andar se lock karke kya kar rahe ho?"Akash replied,"Tum baad mein aana main abhi busy hu."She replied,"Akash tumhaare medicines ka time ho gaya hai.Darwaza kholo jaldi."He replied,"Mujhe koi medicine nehi khaani hai,main abhi darwaza nehi kholunga.Main ek secret kaam kar raha hu.Tum baad mein aana."She asked,"Achcha???Kaisa secret kaam kar rahe ho zara main bhi to sunu?"He became annoyed and then replied,"Uff!!Agar bol diya to secret kaha se rahega,budhdhu!!Abhi jaao yaha se aur mujhe disturb mat karo varna main daadi ko complain kar dunga."Ananya gave up and then left from there.After some time,he opened the door and called Ananya.She came to him and asked,"Itni der se darwaaza bandh karke kar kya rahe the?"Akash replied,"Tumhaare liye ek surprise hai."He took her and showed her his painting which was of his and Ananya's joint painting.Ananya was so overwhelmed by his painting that tears tinkled in her ears.Akash looked at her and found her weeping and he immediately folded his lips.Ananya asked,"Tumhe kya hua?"He replied,"Tum ro rahi ho na isliye mujhe bhi rona aa gaya."Ananya felt like aww' and he wiped his tears.

Kaise main batau ke tera is tarah rona.

Dekha nehi jaata hai sun...

Shaam jab dhalti hai,subha muskuraati hai.

Khushbuyein lutaati hai sun...

Ooo...

She gave Akash his medicines and then tucked the painting on the wall and decided to frame it later on.

Udaasi ke lamho mein,hume muskuraana hai.

Tere dil ka mere dil se rishta puraana hai.

In aakho se har aasoo mujhko churaana hai.

Ooo...

At night,when Akash was sleeping,Ananya said to him,"Pata nehi kab aur kaise par mujhe tumse,tumhaari is maasumiyat se...pyar ho gaya hai Akash.Par main jaanti hu ke main hamesha ke liye tumhaare saath nehi reh sakti hu.Par jitney din bhi main tumhaare saath hu,har pal aakhri pal ke tarah jeena chahti hu.Tum kabhi mat badalna Akash.Hamesha aise hi rehna."She patted on his head and then Akash cuddled more towards her and grabbed her hand while sleeping.
