CHAPTER - 4

Akash returned home still lost in Ananya's thoughts and by carrying all the guitars in his arms accompanied by Vikas and Rohit.When they returned,Sulekha on seeing them asked,"Aa gaye tum log waapas??Kaisa raha trip?"Just at that moment,her eyes fall on the guitars that they were holding.Sulekha was shocked on seeing them,since none of the three boys had an passion towards music at least not towards guitar playing.She pointed at those guitars and confusingly asked,"Ye itne saare guitar???Achaanak tum teeno mein se sangeetkaar kaun ban gaya?"Vikas replied,"Ye sab aapke pote ki karaastani hai daadi."Sulekha looked confusingly at Akash,who was not at all in the state of listening to them and looking somewhere else blankly kept walking towards the dirction of his room.Sulekha called him and tried to stop him but her voice,went past his ears.Sulekha asked,"Isko kya ho gaya?"Rohit replied,"Daadi hum aapko sab bataayenge bas ye guitar zara janaab ke kamre tak pohcha aaye phir."Both Vikas and Rohit went upstairs and placed all the guitars in Akash's room and returned to the hall to Sulekha.

Sulekha asked,"Ab kya tum dono mujhe ye bataane ka kasht karoge ke ye sab ho kya raha hai?"Rohit said,"Daadi,aapke laadle pote ko na pyar ho gaya hai aur vo bhi koi aisa vaisa pyar nehi,pehli nazar ka pehla pehla pyar."Sulekha looked at them in such a way as if someone had lit a cracker in front of her and burst with a high velocity of sound almost making her deaf.She took sometime to grasp the news and asked,"Par aaj subhe hi to usne kaha ke uski zindagi mein koi larki nehi hai aur aaj hi usey love at first sight ho gaya???Itni jaldi?"Vikas chuckled and replied,"Hum bhi aap jitna hi chauk gaye the daadi."She asked,"Larki kaun hai?Bohot ameer ghar ki hai kya?Kis cheez ka business hai unka?"Rohit said,"Daadi daadi daadi,hum jis mall mein gaye the,vo larki waha ek musical instruments ki dukaan mein job karti hai."Sulekha was again surprised and said,"Larki ek dukaan mein kaam karti hai???Aise nehi,mujhe puri baat bataao ke hua kya hai?"Rohit and Vikas partly described everything whatever happened in the mall.Sulekha dashed on the sofa and said,"Haaye haaye mera bachcha!!!Ab to vo is duniya mein rahega hi nehi."Rohit said,"Hum dono bhi abhi chalte hai daadi aur ha aaj usse kuch mat puchiyega,aaj to vo bas apne aap mein hi nehi hai."Vikas agreed and then they both took her leave.Sulekha,while being alone,said,"Mere pote ne itni jaldi apni dulhan bhi dhundh li."She had a smile on her face and said,"Achcha hai mujhe dhundhni nehi pari."She chuckled herself.

In the morning,in the breakfast table,Sulekha while applying butter on the bread,asked Akash,"Us larki ka naam kya hai?"Akash,while giving a bite to his toast,without thinking anything,said,"Ananya."After uttering the name,Akash realized what he had done and he looked at Sulekha with a jerk and started stammering,"Da-da-daadi...v-v-vo...vo...main...aapko kaise pata chala?"She laughed and replied,"Rohit aur Vikas ne mujhe sab kuch bata diya hai ke kal kaise tujhe mall mein ek larki mili aur kaise tujhe usse pehli nazar mein pyar ho gaya."Akash blushed.Sulekha,on seeing this said,"Salujaana to thik hai beta,but are you really serious?I mean...aise hi tune us larki ko ek baar dekha aur tujhe pyar ho gaya.Do you really want me to believe this?"Akash looked into Sulekha's eyes and replied,"Yes daadi main sach mein usse pyar karne laga hu and Iam damn serious about it.Main manta hu vo larki rich nehi hai,par daadi vo anaath hai aur bohot problem mein hai iswaqt."Saying Akash told her everything about Ananya.Sulekha was very emotional on hearing that and said,"Bichaari bachchi!!Pata nehi duniya mein aise kitne saare log hai jinko aisi zindagi bitaani parti hai."She held his hand and said,"I think you should help her out of tis misery.Tujhe uski saari problem solve karni chahiye."Akash replied,"Karunga na main daadi,jo bhi mujhse ban parega main vo sab karunga."She asked,"Vaise to sab kuch thik hai par ye to bata larki dikhne mein kaisi hai?"He looked somewhere away with a dreamy vision and replied,"Arey daadi kya bataau ke vo kaisi hai?Main lafzo mein bayaan nehi kar sakta hu ke vo kitni khubsurat hai.Ek word mein bataaya nehi ja sakta."Sulekha then said,"To kamsekam mujhe usse milwa to de."Akash got up from his seat and said,"Pehle main apne taraf se baat to pakki karlu.Abhi to bas usse ek hi baar mila hu."She agreed and Akash before leaving to get ready for his office,said,"Vaise daadi aaj na uski problem thori bohot solve kar dunga,so agar Arun uncle aapke paas koi complain lekar aaye to please uspar dhyaan mat dena aur shocked mat hona."Sulekha confusingly nodded her head.

Akash reached office in time and the moment,he entered inside everyone wished him.Akash,instead of going into his cabin,stood at the middle of the office lounge and called everyone in there.When everyone arrived,Akash said,"Aap sab soch rahe honge ke maine achaanak aap sabko yaha kyu bulaaya hai.Actually aaj mere paas aap sabke liye ek bariya offer hai,jo aap sabke liye bohot faaydemand hai."The manager asked,"Kaisa offer sir?"He replied,"Maine ye decide kiya hai ke aap sabke salaries mein main 10% ka increment diya jaayega."Everyone was overjoyed on hearing this,but again the confused manger asked,"Par sir abhi to naahi holi hai ya diwali aur naahi koi khas mauka,phir achaanak ye increment..."Akash gave a cute smile and said,"Of course chaukne waali baat hi hai.Ha ye sach hai ke aapko increment muft mein nehi milegi aap sabko mere liye kuch karna parega."All the staffs looked at each other's face and then looked at Akash.He said,"Uh...ek shopping mall hai,jaha ek musical instrument ki bhi dukaan hai."He gave the address of that mall to his staffs and said,"Ab aap logo ko is dukaan se musical instruments kharidne honge,uske baad aap jo chahe un instruments ke saath kar sakte hai ye aapki problem hai,par aisa karne se aap sabke salaries mein 10% increment hogi.Jo jitney zyaada kharidega,uske salary mein utna hi zyaada increment hoga."All the staffs were quite surprised and also were confused on hearing the condition put forward by Akash.Akash,on seeing their faces understood that they were very surprised on his weired condition,so he said,"Main aap mein se kisipar bhi kisi kisam ka pressure nehi daalunga.Agar aap chahe tabhi aap jaaiyega.Vaise agar aap jaayenge to faayda aaphika hoga.So...have a nice day and now get back to your work."Saying he left to his own cabin.

In the evening,after the office,while returning home,he asked the driver to drive towards the specified shopping mall.When the car stopped in front of the mall,Akash jumped out from inside the car and almost ran inside the mall.His marathon stopped almost a few steps away from the shop of Ananya.He hid behind a huge pole and kept his eyes on her shop and he was very happy seeing his plan worked.There was a long queue outside the shop where all his staffs were purchasing instruments from his shop,but he too felt pity on seeing poor Ananya and Roshni's condition.Both of them were getting tired of managing the long queue and their employer,was a damn happy man on seeing the sale and he was the most happiest person on the whole world when he was counting the money,given to him by the customers.After all the customers left,Akash decided to visit the shop.Akash,with a tip-toe movement went inside the shop.On seeing him,Roshni was surprised and he said,"Arey sir aap yaha??Par aaj to kuch bacha hi nehi hai,sab beek gaya."She,then with a lots of excitement said,"Aapko pata hai aaj yaha itni sale hui,itni sale hui ke main aur Ananya didi unhe sambhaalte sambhaalte thak hi gaye."Akash acted to be shocked and said,"Really???Ye to bohot achchi baat hai."At that moment,Ananya arrived and saw Akash and said,"Arey sir aap??Sorry sir aaj jo bhi samaan tha sab beek gaya hai.Aaj to kuch bhi nehi hai aapko bechne laayak."Akash replied,"Aaj main kuch kharidne nehi aaya."Ananya was confused and she asked,"Kuch kharidne nehi aaye??To phir aap yaha kyu...???"Akash understood that he had told something very abnormal and so he tried to correct himself,"Uh...uh...vo main vo...ha...vo mujhe ek flute chahiye tha."Ananya asked,"Flute??"She remembered that,Akash last time purchased all the guitars and now he was asking for flutes.Ananya,with a lot of hesitation asked,"Sir...if you don't mind main aapse ek baat puchu?"He said,"Ha ha puchiye zarur puchiye."She asked,"Usdin...aap itne saare guitars lekar gaye aur aaj aap flute lene aaye hai.Aap itne saare instruments ka..."Akash became nervous on hearing this since he never thought that Ananya would ask such a very normal question so directly about which he actually didn't think.He started to search for an appropriate answer.Suddenly,he got an idea and replied,"Vo actually mera ek dost hai na vo,ek band mein kaam karta hai.Naya band hai,to unhe instruments chahiye,to unhe na achche quality ke guitars nehi mil rahe the,unhone apne saare friends ko bolkar rakkha tha,mujhe bhi kaha.Usdin main yaha aise hi aaya tha to maine dekha ke is shop mein bhi musical instruments bikti hai to maine kharid li aur unhe ye saare instruments itne pasand aaye itne pasand aaye ke unhone ab ye decide kiya hai ke vo yehi se music ka saara samaan kharidenge."Ananya's eyes glowed with happiness.She said,"Thank you so much sir!Aapne hamaare dukaan se itni cheeze kharidi hai."Akash replied,"Isme mujhe thanks karne ki kya baat hai?You deserve that!!By the way."He gave his hand and said,"Iam Akash Saluja.Vo jo Saluja Constructions hai na main waha..."Akash then thought that on revealing his actual identity,Ananya might hesitate to talk with him due to his status,so he lied,"Main waha...job karta hu..."Since Ananya was a bit ignorant to the outer world,so she didn't know anything about business world.She smiled and replied,"Oh achcha!!"Akash said,"Aap na please mujhe sir mat bulaaiye.Mujhe sirf Akash bulaaiyega."Ananya was a bit taken back and said,"Ji??"Akash replied,"Ha."Ananya blushed a bit and Akash peeped on her and said,"Agar aapke paas koi contact number ho to kya aap mujhe de sakti hai to..."Ananya understood and said,"Ha ye lijiye shop ka contact card,aap aane se pehle phone kar lijiyega main aapke flute ka order de dungi."Akash thought that he would get her personal number but he was a bit disheartened,but still at least he had some source of contact with her.He took the card and said,"Bye!!Main kisi aur din aaunga."Ananya too waved her hand and replied,"Bye."Akash then left from there.
