CHAPTER - 1
A woman in a business attire,came out of a big office building named,'THE SALUJA CONSTRUCTIONS'.She walked down the stairs and straight went towards her car.The driver was just waiting with the car at the stair end for her.As soon as he saw her,he came out of the car and opened the door.The woman entered inside the car and the driver drove on.After almost half an hour of driving,the car stopped in front of a hospital.The woman came out of the car and asked the driver to leave as she would return home by driving herself.The driver handed over the key and took leave from there.She entered inside and walked towards a specific direction.When she reached her destination,she stopped and opened the particular door of a room.On opening,he found a senior doctor and two interns with nurse was surrounding the bed.Her heart skipped a beat and squeezed with an unknown fear,turning her face pale with tension.Suddenly,the doctor's eyes fall on her and he came towards her with smile and excitement.He said,"Good evening Miss Rawat,aapke liye ek bohot achchi news hai,jisey sunte hi aap ekdam khushi se paagal ho jaayengi."The woman's eyes glittered with happiness and with hope.She asked,"Kya baat hai doctor bataaiye?"The doctor replied,"Patient ki haalat mein kaafi sudhaar hai,unke saare vital organs ab pehle se kaafi behtar tareeke se kaam kar rahe hai.Unki body,hamaari medicines aur treatment ko response kar rahi hai.Agar sab kuch thik raha to vo bohot jald hi hosh mein aa jaayenge."The woman was at loss of word,she didn't know what to say and how to say.Her eyes were filled with tears and was not at all in her control and just wanted to come out breaking all the barriers.Her voice was shaking and she could not even be able to form any words.She asked,"Aap...aap sa-sa-sach keh rahe hai doc-doctor???"The doctor replied,"Bilkul sach hai ye!!Mr Saluja bohot jald aap sabke saath hasne bolne lagenge,but just thora time lagega."The woman became a bit heartbroken and said,"Waqt???Pehle to shaayad intezaar kar bhi leti doctor sahib aur abhi tak to kiya bhi hai,purey sabr ke saath par aapke is khabar...ke vajah se to...ab aur intezaar nehi ho raha hai mujhse.Nehi ho raha hai."The doctor replied,"I can understand Miss Rawat,bas jaha itne saal intezaar kiya hai,vaha kuch der aur sahi.Thora patience to aapko rakhna hi parega,end moment mein aakar is tarah se please himmat mat haariye."The woman nodded her head and said,"Thank you doctor!!"The doctor nodded his head and then left from there with his staff.
While they were leaving,the gathering around the bed,slowly removed and the face was slowly visible.The face which she loved the most,the face which when laughed,used to make her face glow,the face which when blinked his eyes,used to fill her heart with a lot of courage to face every problems of her life.She slowly walked towards the bed looking at his face.A man was lying on the bed closing his eyes.The woman reached the bed and sat on a stool beside the bed and lovingly rubbed his head.Theman was looking as innocent as a little kid while closing his eyes.The lady kissed on his cheek and said,"Abhi suna tumne doctore ne kya kaha...Unhone kaha ke tumhe bohot jald hosh aa jaayega aur phir tum ghar waapas chal sakte ho.Tumhe pata hai ghar mein sab tumhaara besabri se intezaar kar rahe hai."She held his hand between her two hands and said,"4 saal ho gaye hai Akash,4 saalo se tumhara intezaar kar rahi hu aur tum ho ki apni aakhe hi nehi kholte...Aur kitna sooge,utho na...please..."She wiped her tears and said,"Tumhe pata hai waha ghar par jo tumhaara sabse zyaada intezaar kar rahi hai vo mujhe roz jab main raat ko ghar waapas jaati hu tab puchti hai ke tum neend se uthe ki nehi,tumne breakfast,lunch aur dinner kiya ke nehi aur sabse zyaada tumne uske baare mein pucha ya nehi.Paagal kar deti hai vo mujhe aur har roz usko main yehi jawaab deti hu ke tum abhi bhi so rahe ho...aur phir...uska muh utar jaata hai.Mujhse uska ye utra hua chehra nehi dekha jaata Akash.Please wake up Akash,please..."She wept caring her face with his.
This was the daily normal routine of Ananya...Ananya Rawat who was waiting patiencelessly for the love of her life,for her life,her Akash...Akash Saluja.Ananya was basically an orphan and Akash too but the difference was that he had a grandmother who took care of him and a huge business that he had to take care.Akash's parents died in an air-crash and Ananya was brought up in an orphanage and she had never seen her parents.Akash,for the first time saw Ananya in a shopping mall as a staff in one of the stores and on that day,Akash fall in love with her at the first sight.When Akash proposed,at first Ananya hesitated but slowly she accepted.They were about to marry soon,but before the marriage,he had to go abroad for a business deal and after that while returning home in his car,he met with an accident and since last 4 years,he was in coma.Now,due to his absence,his company had to face a lot of downfall and from that situation,Ananya handled the company under the guidance of Akash's grandmother Sulekha Saluja and the comapny's oldest member,one of the board of directors and also Akash's father's best friend,Mr Arun Jaiswal.He was the one who taught Akash everything when he was a newcomer.Slowly Ananya learnt everything and became an ideally successful and rigid businesswoman.Ananya,due to the hardwork and time which she offered to the business,made her a bit heartless and due to which all the staffs used to scare of her.
Ananya returned home,at around 10pm.When she entered inside,Sulekha,who was waiting for her asked,"Ananya beta...Tu to kabhi itni der nehi karti hai,aaj achaanak kya ho gaya?Bohot kaam tha kya?"Ananya held her hands with happiness and said,"Daadi...ek bohot bari good news hai...Doctor ne kaha hai ke bohot jald Akash ko hosh aa jaayega aur vo bohot fast react kar raha hai treatment mein."Sulekha closed her eyes and held Ananya's hands tightly and said,"Bhagwaan ka laakh laakh shukar hai.Akash ke ma baap ke guzarne ke baad ye Akash hi to mere jeene ka aakhri sahaara hai.Jab uske accident ke baare mein suna tha tab...Agar mere Akash ko kuch ho jaata na to main sach mein mar jaati.Par..."Sulekha cupped her face and said,"Par mujhse zyaada dukh to tune jhela hai.Jo tune Akash ke gairmoujudgi mein hamaare liye kiya vo to koi gair bhi nehi karta hai.Ghar,business sab kuch tune akele sambhaala hai."Ananya put her hand on Sulekha's hand and replied,"Main koi gair thore hi hu aur maine akele kaha kuch kiya aap aur Arun uncle to the hi na mere saath...Achcha choriye in sab baato ko...Maharani so gayi kya?"Sulekha giggled and wiped her tears and replied,"Ha so gayi aur so kar mujhpar to jaise ehsaan kiya hai.Ufff!!!Iske sawaal to khatam hi nehi hote,tu kab aayegi,kyu itna late kar rahi hai,Akash kab uthega,usko iska birthday yaad hai bhi ya nehi,uske liye kya gift lekar aayega...baap re baap...Abhi tu jaakar change karle main khaana lagwaane ko bolti hu."Ananya nodded her head and returned to her room.
After the dinner,when she returned to her bedroom and closed the door,she carefully checked the bed and gave a relaxing sigh.With tip-toe movement,Ananya took out her night robe from the wardrobe and went to shower.After the shower,while she opened the washroom's door and stepped outside,she found a small figure standing on the bed with her doll under her arms and looking intensely towards Ananya.Ananya was scared to see her and said,"Tum abhi tak soyi nehi?Mujhe to laga tum so gayi isliye main dheere dheere saare kaam kar rahi thi.Iam sorry agar maine tumhe disturb kiya to."The girl replied,"Main choyi nehi thi.Main aapke liye kitte time che bethi thi.Aap minne gaye the na...Vo uth gaye?"Ananya held her little hands and excitedly replied,"Vo bohot jald uth jaayenge aur sabse pehle tumse hi baat karenge."The girl was Akash and Ananya's about to be 3 years old daughter,Koel Akash Saluja.Koel asked,"Aap papa ko daatogi na ke vo itte dei kakke uththe hai?"Ananya replied,"Of course main papa ko daatungi,ye bhi koi baat hui,Koel kabse intezaar kar rahi hai papa se baat karne ke liye."Koel nodded her head and said,"Ha mamma aul papa ko na bolna ke mudhe badday mein ek baiii waali tei beal laake de,muchche bhi bai."Ananya nodded her head and replied,"Ok,main bol dungi papa ko,abhi tum so jaao."Ananya made her lie down on the bed and too lied by her side.She sang a lullaby for Koel and she soon fall asleep.Ananya kissed on her forehead and while rubbing her head,she smiled and said,in her mind,"Ekdam Akash jaisi hai,bilkul uspar gayi hai..."She looked outside the window and said,"4 saal...aisa lagta hai jaise kuch hi din pehle ki hi baat ho...jab main aur Akash pehli baar miley the..."
