Siddy's character is positioning herself to be the top female villain. Arranging Laali's murder, planning it was all her idea. Giving Loha's gun to Ratna so she could use it on Laali was her idea as well. She's not as innocent as she looks. And now abducting Sumitra she's an equal participant. Besides Gangiya, Siddy is just as hateful and heartless.

I, too, thought that she was just a dumba** going along with Gangiya and not having a single original thought of her own, but the way she stopped the Thakurain from smacking her, it gave me pause.

She may look like a follower of the more devious minds around her, but that call to the Minister was a brilliant move...

Being unable to give an heir to the family, she made sure Laali and the unborn baby were gone in a puff of smoke in one fell swoop...two birds, one jeep. Fin.

And she is not going anywhere after her creepy machinations come to light...I think she will stay in the Haveli...Loha will yell and holler at her, but she will continue to be part of the thorn in Shekhar and Laali's respective sides...

Along with the other thorns....

The 7 pheras with Sid and the 7 with Laali equal a total of fourteen pheras, Shekhar....dude, you're a VERY married man! Ouch! Hope your memory is good with b'dates and anniversaries dates, not to mention V'Day. etc.

After the Thakurain is found, they'll find a way for Laali to move back into the Haveli...

Remember she is the star of the show and she must interact with the other members, and she can't do it if she's not there in person.

Maybe they'll up her status a bit due to her motherhood, but it will be the Sumitra who become her biggest protector...Jamuni and Dadaji will also play significant parts.

And bec Sumitra almost died during this atrocious ordeal, maybe Loha will soften toward her, you know, be more like a human being with feelings and stuff.

KF, why don't you think Nadini is actively helping Laali? Thought she cared for the Thakurain.

I think she is helping Laali because she told her she was pregnant and swore on her unborn baby. Baksarvalli who has 2 daughters of her own believed her as one mother to another. Even though she is not actively helping Laali now, she found a way to get Laali into the haveli and plus since Laali is the central character she must be the one to find Sumitra on her own. Baksarvalli cares for her mother-in-law but her fear of Loha is greater. I think she is being doubly cautious because of her kids. Plus she is also scared of her husband knowing that he is involved in the abduction of his own mother gives Baksarvalli pause to interfere. That man is Dr. Crippen.

her character tends to hang in the back ground because all she does is agree with everyone.
she does not really comment or get involved in any or the family crap.
