its not love. she just worships him like God because he was there for her whenever she needed help, even her parents left her.
he didnot take advantage of her but instead respected her initially when everybody considered like an animal without any feelings.

The mixing of blood validated to her the relations between them. She will always be at his side. Hopefully we will see him turn more to her thanks the uselessness he has now

Its perfectly alrite. Becos Laali saw Shekhar as Ganeshiya and always bonded to him in one way or the other. So its natural to have feelings for him when he is such a honest and good person who always pulls her out from difficulties.

And Laali's marriage to ganeshiya was in her childhood. So what sort of feelings she is ought to have towards him. After growing up she always interacted with the dummy ganeshiya (the doll) in the fields. But soon after she saw Shekhar as Ganeshiya. So its alrite in all sense for her to have feelings for Shekhar.

Now for Shekhar, its not easy to justify him having feelings for Laali. It will take time and some drastic things to happen between him and Sid and thats what the creatives are trying to portray.

So all in all a Big YAYYYYYYYYYYY for Shali jodi no matter if its against the norms or what ever .......

Lali is a sensible girl. Love is not something we can force - it happens - rightly or wrongly - it happens. As i said, Lali is sensible - she's got her head screwed on right : she knows her place in society, in the haveli and in Shekhar's life. I think she would not expect more that what is meted out to her. It is sad and i hope the haveli will treat her right and give her the respect she deserves - which is not that of an outcaste.
"Na jacca vasalo hoti, na jacca hoti brahmano, kammuna vasalo hoti, kammuna hoti brahmana" - Buddha.
Not by birth is one an outcast; not by birth is one a brahman. By deed one becomes an outcast, by deed one becomes an brahman.

laali to have feelings for Shekhar. Yesssssssssssssssss. She is now tied/bonded to him and even more with what was shown in this episode. I love this jodi. I want them to develop feelings for eachother. She has them for him but to see him return it would be terrific.

I don't mean this in a bad way at all, but I would love for this show to be tragic in a way. We see happy endings in almost every single show, and I think that especially in this show, a tragic ending would be more apt. I mean they're out to show some really nitty-gritty realistic things, and if this story were reality, the chances of some sort of Laali and Shekhar love story would be very low. I think it would be nice for them to form a friendly bond, but doing any kind of love story would ruin the show for me. I like how her tragic story is being portrayed, and I think they should keep with it, rather than making everything wonderfully rosy in the end similar to all of those "utopia" type of shows.

Let me just say though, that I definitely understand where most of you are coming from when you say you would be happy to see Laali and Shekhar together. They do look cute together and I would love to see happiness in Laali's life. I simply think it would be interesting for them to show some sort of gratification for Laali, but just not go overboard with it, that's all.

I some what agree with this. This show is portraying the reality of India. Even though I am a fan of Shaali myself I do feel it is unrealistic and isn't something that would happen in real life. However it is also true that Shekhar has realised Siddeshwari's true feelings towards him and that for her it is more important to have luxuries then a happy husband In such a situation any man would fall in love with someone like Laali who has genuine feelings for him. This is why I think, yes, it is unrealistic for this sort of love to happen in real life however considering the situation it is not impossible. Whether Laali's feelings are right or wrong...well there are many things in life that are right even though they are wrong and vice versa...who are we to judge right and wrong?

@ toothbrush13 - if they were sticking to pure reality.. then chances of a character like shekhar are very dim.. i doubt any man would be as generous and helpful, the way shekhar's been with laali (especially in those days.. under those circumstances).. it'll be very very very low count.... im sure if such situation arose.. the man would happily do what's told..and the girl would be dumped after she's had the baby.. and if it stays tragic.. what's the point of naming the show.. 'agle janam mohe bitiya hi kijo'.. i thought somethin will change in laali's life.. i'd prefer change.. even if its fairy tailish.. so far her journey hasn't been close to a fairy tale.. and in a way i do understand ur POV.. but agle janam's different. .if this was any other show.. shekhar'd be in love with laali already.. but it hasn't happened.. even from laali's side.. she's not in love with him.. she respects him.. so it is different..
